Very bad customer service with lying about the problem that was never fixed. In the end basically told me to take it to a dealership. Never called for any update, we always had to call and got the same story. I wouldnt recommend this location for even a oil change. I got brand new tires put on my car a few months back. I've had problems with the tire 3 days later went back a few times and my problem never was fixed. I called and got told to buy another tire why should I have to buy a tire when I've had problems with the tires I purchased. So I asked to be called back never got a call back. Less than 90 days I had to buy another tire. My car never got an alignment either. My service was trash for them to just take my money like they did. I would never recommend going to Pep Boys. My car still rides like trash because I can't just go purchase some more new tires. So be careful if u do decide to go with this place especially as a woman. read more

I typically don't review businesses like Pep Boys on Yelp; I tend to restrict my reviews to either restaurants or hotels. However, in this case, Pep Boys really earned my respect. Hearing some deep knocking in our car's front end, my wife and I believed that we were in need of some new shocks/struts. Upon bringing the car in to Pep Boys, they could have very easily tacked those onto another diagnosis or went ahead and charged us for that full amount. Rather, they discovered the real-culprit (a worn sway bar), gave me three different options for repairs and maintenance, and completed the work requested in a quick, efficient, and clean way. Even better, they came in around $15 *under* their estimate. When was the last time you had anyone come under an estimate?! They've earned my trust; I'm sure I'll be back. read more

Very courteous staff at this location. I work across the street from the shop and always take my car here for tires while I'm at work. My service has always been completed in a timely manner, and the pricing isn't bad compared to other places in the area. I would highly recommend the trotwood pep boys for tires! read more

Made an appointment on Monday to have tires installed dropped the car off at 3:30 p.m. Friday at 7:30 I still have not heard nothing from them went to check to see if it was finished and the store was closed guess I will not be going to work tomorrow there is no way tires should take that long when you schedule an appointment a week in advance if I could give less Stars I would read more

I had an appointment for 4pm and was told it would take about an hour and half. I had my cousin pick me up and drop me off at 530 to find out its not even been looked at yet. My cousin had to leave so now i get to sit here and wait even longer. Plus i have a service plan through my car lot that I bought my car that lets me get annual oil change, tire rotation and more for free and they "dont know how to use it". Very unimpressed with this location. We have spent literally hundreds of dollars in this store on parts for our fleet of moving trucks. We took one of our trucks in to get a power steering hose (which we bought from them) put on. We dropped the truck off at 8:30am, they looked at the truck and gave us a price and we told them it was important it was done by 6pm as it was reserved by a customer. They said no problem. At 12pm, they call and tell us that because it won't go into the garage that they can't work on it. I talked with the manager and said it is a hose that with the proper tools, which I assume you guys have will take a few minutes and I'm paying $209 as quoted. He stated everything must come into the garage and the truck won't fit. So, it took you 4 hours to figure out the truck wouldn't go into a garage... not sure why someone couldn't pull it to the side and put the hose on... but he said they aren't allowed to do that. Anyway..... getting the truck fixed in time for the customer is impossible so now we are out hundreds of dollars and have a pissed off customer. Will not be using this location again for anything! ***AFTER picking up the truck, we found that even though they claimed they moved it and tried to fit it in the garage, that it had never been moved. How do I know this? because it was leaking power steering fluid.... it sat in the same spot as it was dropped off for 5 hours. Replacing the hose is a bit of a job since it is in a tight spot, it would seem that they just didn't want to do it. Went from being unimpressed to ANGRY!!! So pleased with my service here! I'm usually nervous going to get things fixed on my car, fearing that people will take advantage of my lack of car knowledge. That didn't happen here at all! I got a flat at 11:00 last night and was able to get the donut on. I wanted to show up here right when they opened on my way to work to hopefully get everything taken care of. I got here right at 7:30 and they let me in. I realized once I got here that the shop doesn't open until 8, but they went right ahead and took my car in! The staff was all incredibly friendly, and they had me all fixed up (for much less than I was expecting to pay) in about 20 minutes! I'll definitely be back if I need any work on my car. read more

Everything seemed great, I went in for an easy running light to be replaced, was told it would be as long as 4 to 6 hours! asked if I wanted to leave it and come back? LOL .. I told them I would wait in lobby. The guy who checked me in was a nice young fella very professional being prompt. 45 minutes later another guy said they were finished ..COOL! Here is were things went south..Another older guy my age called me up to the desk.. he asked me to verify my info so he had the right customer, I gave him my info, then I proceeded in small talk thanking him for having the work done as fast as they did with me feeling the price was reasonable for me considering I was on a budget making low wages working at taco bell. What happened next.. was he got very loud saying, I was a f****ng lair, that I lived in Englewood and he knew I had money!!..WTF?? at first thinking he was pulling my leg just, a little sarcastic joking.." but he He was dead serous" !.. then he proceeded to tell me his son worked at taco bell in Beavercreek & made $13.45 an hour so he knew I was a liar about being on a budget.. I was embarrassed as seeing other customers staring at me and not wanting to escalate things so I left in a hurry to not ever go back!. I do not recommend this pep boys location, more so if your from Englewood as they think we are all cheap rich liars read more

I can't believe there isn't more reviews on pepboys. I own 2013 gmc terrain slt. I have chrome rims. The size required by gmc is p235/55/R18. Pretty much mustang rims. When you look at my vehicle it looks funny because tires are small. I walked into pepboys after seeing 3 other tire shops that couldn't help me. I met kent when I first walked in. Explained my situation and that not only did I want a bigger tire that would not rub but I wanted it rugged. Kent said we can go to p235/60/r18. He then showed me what they had available in store and nothing caught my eye. Kent then showed me different brand name brand tires on their Web site and there it was. The HANKOOK PIKE RW11 P235/60/R18. Kent ordered them. 4 days later I walked in and Andre greeted me. Very nice and knowledgeable. These tires are better then what I thought they'd be. Rugged,great traction,etc. (PERFECT) I always end up back at pepboys because in the end they have what I need always. Great employees to. Ty pepboys read more

Keith, in the service department, should not be dealing with customers. Horrible! Brian on the other hand is very courteous. It seems that Keith only wants simple jobs. If anything is the least bit complex, he turns it down. I've also heard this from other people. read more
