I would not recommend them, they over filled the oil and caused $3000 worth of damage and since I cant process they did it even though Valvolene is the only place I took my cars for routine oil changes, Im stuck paying for repairs that if they had ASC certified techs and checked the work before letting customers drive away this might not have happened. I've never had a bad experience at this Valvoline. Every single person I've dealt with over the years is always professional, courteous and efficient. Some of them recognize me when I come in, and that is always nice. No matter the line, they treat you like you matter and take the time to talk and explain, and ask questions. They also have just topped off my tire's air pressure between oil changes. They do offer other services, and will recommend them based on your vehicles mileage. My husband and I use this location all the time, in fact, we live in Sandusky Ohio and wanted to use them again as we always have great service. Today, for my husband, not so much. His mechanic was rude and argumentative. My husband wanted the tires rotated and knew the cost. The server was sarcastic and tried to talk my husband out of a rotation. Needless to say. He did do the job required , after an argument. Bottom line, I will go back. First time he had this guy after years of service. I can't speak highly enough of the service we received from Shelby at this location. My husband took our BMW here for an oil change. The oil pan drain plug nut had been twisted on too tight. Shelby removed it, changed the oil and the filter. There was an issue with a fitting on the filter so he actually drove to get a part from an auto supply store to replace it. I thought I would give this new Valvoline Instant Oil Change a shot since they are very convenient to me. I like the setup, you pull up, they direct you to pull in, and you sit in the vehicle while they do the oil change. Very nice! However, there are a couple of things that need to be addressed. First of all, my tires need to be inflated to 39psi, and without even checking the label on the inside of the door or asking me, they just filled them to 35psi. Secondly, they never reset the oil life indicator or even mentioned to me to do it although, on my paperwork, it says it had been completed. Thirdly, the reminder sticker they gave me to put in my windshield indicated the next oil change was due in 3000 miles or 3 months. This was on a full synthetic oil change. My owner's manual says 7500 miles and no more than 10,000 miles or 12 months on full synthetic. Lastly, and this is just an old man gripe about prices, my coupon was good for up to 5qts of oil. Of course, my truck takes 5.9qts, no biggie, but they charge $9 for the .9 of a quart. Seems a bit pricey. All in all, I appreciate their service and their friendliness. They were there when I needed them. Just be aware of what you are paying for vs what you get in return. read more

My wife and I typically go to the valvoline on Harrison Avenue in Cincinnati but stopped here on two separate occasions since I'm working in the area and the "manager" working charged us almost double what they usually charge us and claimed there were no records in the system. I had a coupon for a $19.99 oil change. I pulled up and was able to get right in. Thomas guided me into the bay, and then had me roll down the window so I could stay in my car. I thought that was neat! Thomas was very nice! They were out of my type of oil filter and had to run to the parts store that is close by (while I waited in my car), still only took about 20 mins from start to finish! ASK for the price first before they work on your car.. First, they don't know what they are doing because all they want is to try to sell you stuff and pressure you if you don't agree to do it. All I want is an oil change, that it. Second, my tires requires 32 PSI, not 35 PSI. You assumed all cars tires are 35 PSI. Third, a fill synthetic oil life give at least 5000 miles on my car according to Manufacturing manual. You put it in a sticker that need oil change after 3000 miles. They tried so hard to Sell me air filter, cabin filter, and wiper blades but I already replaced them on my own. The oil change cost me almost $100, my dealer charge me $50 plus free car wash and coffee. It would cost me fortune if I agree to do air filter and the extra stuff they try to sell me.. This place is a scam...I will never go back here. They said everything is expensive nowadays, you guy just wanna make quick money on people who don't have knowledge in their cars.
