I am a retired mechanic. I took my car in for my "free balance and rotation" of tires. The staff came out and told me I had an oil leak and was a quart of oil short. They even showed me photos of an undercarriage that was rusted and a rusted dipstick. They were NOT mine. Then they told me how much it was to "fix" this problem. My car is garage kept and has NEVER leaked oil. They tried to scam me!!! Don't trust your vehicle to them. You will be sorry. Come to notice that the weights were NEVER moved. Went to this place for many years, we took our car somewhere else this time to get the oil changed by the place that originally did it and they advised when we took our vehicle to jamies the last time that they didn't change the oil, they just topped it off. So now we need a whole new oil tank which is going to cost 600 plus. We have never had a problem with jamies and was recommended to go by my husband's father. Will never go back. Very very disappointing. Their price is very good but not worth it anymore. I do not recommend bringing an older vehicle to this place. They talked to the other guy we brought the car and both discussed that it was too long without an oil change. Even though it was only 3k over what was recommended for an oil change. I have had zero issues with this in the past for other cars that were even older. I am completely disappointed in the customer service by this place. They tried to call me back and I have had it with this place. I will not be putting anymore effort into this horrible company. read more

I just got into town and had a screw in one of my tires and a small leak. I needed to get it fixed ASAP for my travels. I called one Jamie's location and they recommended the "urgent care" Jaime's as a drive up service. Excellent response and recommendation! I showed up with only 1 hour until closing and they were more than willing to help. I also asked if they would do an oil change and they completed it too! Jamie's is not just about excellent repair services; this business CARES about customers. That attitude comes from the top, James (Jim) Hensley. My husband was a faithful customer for many years before he suffered a brain injury, which keeps him from being able to drive. Mr. Hensley saw us at a local restaurant a few months ago and asked me to call him if I needed anything. The outside rubber rim of my husband's wheelchair came completely off. I had tried to get help from the medical equipment company, but their timeline was unreasonable. In tears, I left a message on the business phone in the evening, asking if they could stretch the rubber and put it back on the wheel. I received a phone call at 8:12 am, saying he would do his best to help. Since I was at work, Mr. Hensley sent a staff member out to my house to retrieve the chair. Back at the shop they (I think Rob along with others) were able to fix the tire. Knowing my situation, Rob volunteered to return the chair to my home. I offered to pay for their time, but they refused to accept payment. The team and management at Jamie's do not just care about the bottom line; they care about the people they serve. read more

Purchased a set of new tires for my Jeep Commander a couple of years back, and I asked them to take one of the tires and put it on the spare rim that is mounted under the Jeep. The spare is also an aluminium allow wheel. Months later I had a flat, and as I pulled the spare from under my Jeep, I found that it was not my original wheel. My wheels were silver, and this was a cheap scratched up black wheel with someone else's old tire on it. Think what you will, but that was just wrong. I didn't go back because it had been many months and I doubt that they kept my old wheel. Wasn't going to post anything, but as I was looking for a place to take my vehicle in for repair, I saw this on Yelp with high reviews. I've had repairs done recently and I'm very impressed and so is my husband. They got me in quickly and did the work I needed at a reasonable cost. They did very good work, explained what they did do and I left not feeling pressured into getting any more repairs at this time. BEWARE (Get A SECOND OPINION). I was a long time customer and went to Jamies to have my AC system recharged. System was charged and I was informed the AC Compressor was not kicking on and there would be a 125.00 diagnostic fee to check it out. Declined, because I had another appt at a different shop for a oil change. While at the other shop I mentioned the AC Compressor not turning on and system was just recharged. The tech said he would check the fuse. It took him 2 minutes to determine it was a $ 5.00 fuse that was bad and I was not charged for him to do the check. Needless to say, Jamies lost my trust and my business while the other shop now has my business. I can see that a diagnostic check of Compressor would be warranted AFTER doing a quick 2 min fuse check and the fuse turned out to be good, but to charge me 125.00 to even perform that minor fuse check is why shops such as Jamies get a bad name and lose customers. read more

I bought two used tires here because I had a flat in my driveway. They agreed to give me one of the tires so I could mount it onto the car and drive it to the shop, where the second one could get put on. I specifically asked for the left tire to be checked at the counter. Because it never ended up in the paperwork, they didn't do it. Because of that, two of the the lugnuts and the screws themselves broke off of the car while it was on the highway and now I have to fix an entire wheel. After calling them, they told me they might be able to offer some discounts to fix it, but that's about it. I would figure it would be common sense to check both tires considering I purchased two tires from this shop, but apparently not. read more

We've been to Jamie's multiple times for minor and major repairs on our Honda Odyssey. They are good people who do fine work and stand behind it. On one occasion I had a tire that was damaged at some point. We took it to Grismer which was close by where we were living at the time and they said there was nothing to be done except buy a new one from them for $160. So we took it to another Continental dealer and they said they couldn't fix it. We ended up at Jamie's and should have gone there first. They were smart enough to contact Continental and learned the tire was still under warranty. They got us a new tire that cost us a total of $20! We were very pleased. read more
