The food here is fantastic! We passed through Estacada around lunch time and discovered this food cart on our way out of town and had to turn back around to give it a try. We were so happy we did because the food is delicious! Our order was taken by the friendliest woman. We wanted to try everything but settled for a steak burrito, chicken chimichanga, spicy pork street tacos & a steak flour taco. Absolutely everything was fresh, flavorful, served hot and tasted so good! The chimichanga was a wonder thin wrap that fries up perfectly. That and the burrito were stuffed full of meats and other fillings. The tacos had the perfect amount of meat and topped with fresh veggie fillings. There were several nice tables to eat at beside the cart so we had a seat and dug into our bounty. We also tried the green sauce, red sauce and avocado sauces. Those just added a little more yum to everything! This might end up being our new favorite taco cart in the area. We will definitely be back. read more

Drove thru Estacada on the way to Mount Hood and stopped for lunch at Pepes taco truck. I had a gordita with fried pork. Delicious! The corn Gordita was fried perfectly and not greasy, the pork was soooooo good. Some passionfruit lemonade with it and I was very happy!!! We also had a spicy pork Gordita and liked that one too. The Gorditas are big, one was definitely enough to fill me up. Food was fast, hot and fresh and the lady taking our order was super efficient but nice at the same time. My general consensus is that I would not go out of my way to eat at this food cart again but I wouldn't mind having it! Pretty standard Mexican food. I wasn't really blown away by the meat/rice/cheese/beans ratio in my burrito. The carne asada tacos were served on small double tortillas, and piled high with steak, onions, and cilantro -- a few good squeezes of fresh lime and some of the homemade habanero salsa, and my taste buds were happy. Some of the best street tacos I've had! Mainly because I love veggie tacos and theirs come loaded and with an avocado slice. So good and good price. Their meats are also good too.
