If you're in the area and want a sit down Mexican restaurant, this is an option. It's in the shopping strip mall next to New Season, with lots of parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a kid and family restaurant with lots of table and booth seating. Outdoor seating available.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was ok. A lot of items were spicy. Good service.

The service was nice and everyone was welcoming. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love how everything from their decorations to tables and chairs were all hand painted.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got pescado frito, carne asada, and molcajete mexicano and they were all 10/10! The meat quality was very good and with the mocajete mexicano you get all kinds of meat so you get to try everything and it's served with rice beans and tortilla. You could definitely share this between two people. The birthday celebration here was also very fun and memorable so highly recommend for any special occasion.

Delicious tacos and margaritas. They even have mezcal drinks which I absolutely love. The staff was also kind enough to substitute mezcal into drinks that otherwise typically have tequila in it for me. Overall the staff is friendly and helpful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is also almost always packed which shows how much the locals enjoy this place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food and drinks are a bit on the pricier end, but the proportions help justify it. I have, and will be back plenty times more!

I went there last week to met my friend around that area and came to this place for order togo for my husband., during wait for Togo order, i had a drink Margarita $10 for happy hour. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the place the have a patio seating for me&my dog to relax and enjoy the sun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The waitress who took my order was very nice to me&my dog, she came to checked on me a few times, that's very nice and excellent service. And the Burrito which i order for my husband was yummy, good quality. I recommend this place. If i have a chance to go that area again, i'll go back for sure:)

The food is always good here and the customer service is amazing. Would recommend for some Mexican American food! Definitely not authentic but still good!

Molcajete Mexicano. Basically a supreme fajita setup, not a bad thing. All of the meats.

We were at New Season and wanted to try dinner nearby and saw this place. Pretty crowded on a Sunday night. Vibrant decor and fun ambiance. I got the Molcajete Mexicano. Basically a supreme fajita setup, not a bad thing. All of the meats. Carne asada, shrimp, chicken, chorizo. A jalapeno (full spicy), onions, cactus, Mexican cheese and more. I thought it was pretty solid. Very nice grilled meats in the stone bowl. Carnitas tacos were tender and moist, well received by wife. Drinks were way too sweet. I got the mezcal tamarind drink and wife got a fancy margarita. Kid / family friendly. Solid, nice setup. I lived in Texas for 5 years, so you can say I'm a little picky. I wanted to find reasons to say less than 4, but can't really. So we'll have to come back, lol.

The food at this location is just not anywhere near as good as it is at the Vancouver location. While service is prompt and attentive, it was very disappointing that the chips are only served with salsa, and not salsa and bean dip like the Vancouver location serves. I got my favorite (pork carnitas chimichanga, wet style), and there was a LOT of gristle and fat in it. I've never experienced that at the Vancouver location. We also got the taquitos appetizer, and it was just not as flavorful as the Vancouver location. I was also excited to see various aquas frescas available, but they were out of both varieties I and my dining companion wanted. They were also out of my dining companion's first entree choice, so that was another disappointment. The ambiance is great. Very colorful and bright, open and inviting. I hope that these issues can be straightened out, and that this location reaches the same outstanding level as the Vancouver location.

My wife and I are restaurant managers, and can honestly tell you that this place hit on all cylinders! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great first impression when we walked in![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Greated by an older gentleman that was genuinely interested and very attentive. The menu was great with very appealing dishes. Our server was amazing and very friendly and attentive! I think her name was Daniella! Overall, very good service and good! Will be back!

My goodness this place is wonderful. Cute and colorful Decor... love it! I had myself the Kearny Asada plate that comes with refried beans and rice. Of course I had to add that delicious spicy jalapeño margarita. Yum! The margaritas came out fast, and the food was fairly prompt as well. The grilled Carne Asada was so delicious, tender and season perfectly. The rice and beans were yummy. I would say, the only downside was the corn tortillas are not freshly made. Oh well! The staff is exceptional and there's no issues with parking outside. There is no bar/lounge but there is talks about taking over the space next-door and expanding. I will definitely be back!

    Minced Fish Ceviche $17.95

It was our first time having dinner here. 5/5 for ambiance. We love the painted chairs and tables. They are so pretty and vibrant in color, instantly boosting your happy mood as soon as you walk into the door. 5/5 for service. The super attentive server checked in with us frequently throughout the busy Saturday night dinner hours. They were between 80% and 90% capacity, though the bar was empty. 3.5/5 for food. Our total dinner was $68.22. -Zero Proof Tamarindo, $5.77: It was lighter in tamarindo base and a bit too sweet for my taste. -Fish Ceviche, $17.95: It is lime-based and okay in taste. I was disappointed the fish was mined instead of cubed. It didn't come with any chips. There was too much-chopped tomato, which overpowered the minced fish. -Combo 3, $19.50: You can pick any three items and protein. We got one chicken taco, one chicken tamale, and one pork tamale. The tamales were wrapped in corn hush. There was not much masa on the tamales and not much flavor on either chicken or pork. My husband loved the chicken taco and said he would order just the taco next time. -Comala Steak, $25: This was the night's winner. My husband and I both enjoyed it. It was cooked just right and served on a sizzling hot plate. We didn't care much for the pickles, onion, and sauce that came with it. My husband said he would definitely come back here with me since it's only 4 miles one way from where we live. He also said he would order the taco and Comala Steak again because he liked them tonight. I would return to check out other items on the menu but would not reorder what I had tonight (virgin tamarindo, fish ceviche, chicken, and pork tamales). My husband said the restroom was clean and well-supplied. I did not check out the lady's restroom.

I've had the nachos, green and red enchiladas , birria taquitos on separate occasions and they've all been good. Rice has been soft and beans actually have flavor. Good blended Margaritas and service from what I have experienced.

Although the wait can be long at times, the staff are always friendly and communicative. I've visited many times and have never had any issues. The Tacos Tijuana are a perfect example of just how good the food is--extremely simple, yet balanced and delicious. The shrimp in the Surf & Turf is some of the best I've ever had. I even enjoyed it reheated, which says a lot. The Enchiladas Mexico are excellent on their own and an even better way to enjoy the many sauces La Costita has to offer. The Burrito Costita Especial looks just as good as it tastes and is my personal favorite entrée. Last but not least are the Taquitos. They're something special and have kept me coming back for years. I seriously cannot recommend them enough--they're unlike any taquitos you've ever seen or had.

For years I've longed for a Muchas Gracias type joint to soak up the late night cravings (#1) , and Victorico's more than does the job. It all starts with their disheveled drive-thru menu (#2), which is actually an impressive array of Mexican comfort foods ranging from burritos to quesadillas to salads. The tacos chilangos ($9.99 for 4) and breakfast burritos are easy to gravitate to, especially the double meat (bacon and ham). Their grande burrito ($11.50) is stuffed with rice, beans, vegetables, guacamole, crema, and one's choice of meat. It is reminiscent of a SF Mission district style burrito, since it's thick and intimidatingly large.
