This is my favorite pizza. Always good and reasonably priced. Sweet and tangy wings are also very good.

Pizza was excellent. Hot and ready when they said it would be. First time trying it but I'll definitely be back.

To go order = 8 pc mixed chicken w 12 JoJos. Chicken tasted good but breading was not very evident.. thin layer. Pieces were pretty small, she even threw in an extra piece since 3 were tiny. Potato not overly seasoned but fine w/ me. Food was hot n ready fast but then again nobody was in the restaurant. A local Pizzeria handtossed pizza. The sauce is so snooth and delicious and who doesnt like mozzarella cheese not a big fan of blended with provolone. . Ordered a side salad with house dressing. They offer traditional summit county sides. Jo Jos..chicken dinners,. Impressed with the pizza. Sometimes you dont want thick crust. Next time i would be interested in checking out pasta. read more

I went there for lunch and had to take out the woman at the cash register was very polite and very friendly it's a nice homie type of Diner that gives you the feel that you can definitely bring your family there and feel welcome. I got their wings which were Barbecue & Mild and they both were really good the prices aren't too expensive and they have really good business hours I recommend if you want pizza or pasta or wings and you're in this area this place is definitely a place to try out. read more

For thick crust advocates, beware. The crust here is fairly thin, not pan or "Chicago style." If you're most interested in what's on top, the sauce and toppings are all first rate. And the crust is a fine representation of the thin crust genre. We got take out, so I just have vague impressions of the dining room, which simply silently said "pizza joint that has been around for a while." To me they all seem to have a similar ambiance....booths that have seen a few too many derrières, charmingly eclectic decor, etc., but somehow cozy and welcoming despite a few possible decorating shortfalls. read more

I don't think Peppe n Luigi's has changed the way they make their pies or the ingredients they use in at least 20 years and that is a good thing. The pizzas are still delicious. In a town with many of the Ma n Pa type pizza shops, to me Peppe's is not only delicious but very affordable. Sandwiched into the plaza next to the porn store which has also been there for 20 years is a nice touch. Peppe's is a mainstay and if u have a party get one of their sheet pizzas!!! read more

In our continuing search for the best pizza in our new area we tried this place today. We did not call ahead but placed our order and waited. The place itself needs a serious revamp. It smelled weird and was sort of dark and dingy. We crossed our fingers and hoped the pizza wouldn't reflect the atmosphere. We ordered 2 jumbo pepperoni, and a salad with Italian dressing. Our order took about 15 mintues, awesome, since the last place we went took 50 mintues for 2 large pizzas. Once we got home and got to eating we were blown away by how delicious the pizza was. It was cooked perfectly. Sauce was wonderful and the dough had great flavor. The salad was good as well, very fresh and the dressing was incredible! Asked my father in law where I could get my wife and I some good wings. This is is the place he suggested. I assumed he was mad at us for some reason. Bland, dry and overcooked wings, salad very basic and "Large" pizza would be a medium at 95% of any other pizza place. Thought I chipped my tooth on a piece of the pizza. Pulled whatever it was out and it looked like crumbles of burnt food cooked over and over. Oven crud or unclean pans I assume. For the price I should have just went with my gut and got the usual GIoninos. read more

As a kid we would go to the Pepe and Luigi's In Green 30 years ago. I remember loving the pizza and the ice cream we got there afterwards. That Pepe and Luigi's closed years back. I knew that there was another restaurant with the same name in Barberton for several years now, but wasn't sure if it were the same as the place I remember as a child. We finally went there and I must say, we were not disappointed! The pizza was the same as I remember. My wife and I shared a large (medium) pizza. The pizza has fairly thin crust and great sauce and toppings. My dad got the fried chicken and my mom got lasagna and my daughter got rigatoni. Everyone loved their food. The service was excellent as well! We will definitely be back soon. This pizza is in my top 5 in the Akron area!! read more

Run as far as you can. Make the drive to downtown to eat at Angie's. Peppi and Luigis has the grossest pizza, along with moderately bad service depending on the waitress. Lastly, my friend ordered mild wings which were super spicy, we were then informed that they use the same sauce for mild, hot, and extreme. They just use less for it... I have not been to Peppe & Luigi's for a few years. I am pleasantly surprised it is still DELICIOUS! Ordered from DoorDash my food arrived on time exactly as i ordered. Pizza was not greasy especially since I had pepperoni as a topping. Rigatoni dinner was equally as tasty. Bottom line I will return to support this Mom & Pop business for sure. I was charged a $20 fee for paper plates and napkins since my party of 15 was dining in. If we order food, I'm not sure why we were charged for utensils. We served ourselves the pizza and had a pitcher of ice water. We were brought a trash can to clean up after our party. I did not tip because no one waited on us. After we left, the waitress told my 80 year old grandmother how mad she was at me for not tipping her. She guilted my grandmother into giving her her $20. I contacted the owner and was rushed off the phone with a quick apology. The pizza is good but I will never go back. Eek it started horrible and the waitress didn't write down half our order! I found a hair IN MY FOOD!! The service was dreadful she checked often but when she did she didn't listen what so ever. When they finally decided to pay actual attention we had been waiting for some water for 30 minutes! The waitress mixed our drinks up and put her entire thumb into our "glasses" EWW! None of the food was warm at all and the chicken was hard as rocks when we FINALLY got it. So I will never bring my family there again! And neither should you. read more

Absolutely love this place. Pizza is amazing every single time. This was the only pizza we ever had growing up and it almost has a sentimental value. Definitely not your average Papa Johns or Pizza Hit frozen taste. You can tell this is made fresh. I love Peppes and it will always be my top choice on pizza night! read more
