I celebrated my birthday here a few days ago. It wasn't too crowded when I went with a few friends. I had reserved a booth and though the bartender, Rachel was by herself she was able to help me each time I went up to the bar. The manager, Tai, was helpful with answering questions and booking my booth. He also helped me make it extra special by having mini cupcakes with a sparkler. The music was mostly 90s music but good music to dance to. I would definitely come back here for a different occasion or just to hang out. The Peppertree Lounge in Union City is the spot! It's my go to when I meet up with my friends in the Bay Area. It's modern and super cute inside. The outside patio is perfect for warm weather plus they have heat lamps for when it's chilly. We come during the daytime to see Roland and Andrea since they've always shown us a great time and they'll make you fun drinks you've never tried before, just ask they're always down! You can play pool or mingle with the regulars there. I've made new friends there too, you can bring your Nintendo switch & hook it right up to the TVs while catching a nice buzz! You can bring outsiders food , there's places around or ask about the one if a kind lumpia's are smackin! Saturday nights are just horrible I always feel so unwelcome there by the bartenders specially the older lady named don she's just always rolling her eyes & refuses to give water & chips. This place is close to home so I'll always try it & hope it's great , but it's hard when the counter is dirty & wet . The bartender will see u sit down take the ten minutes to get to you w only 10 people in the building ,take ur order give your drink & still not wipe the counter . A good bartender greats you as you walk in or grab seats . Brings a rag & wipes counter clean while taking your drink order ( if you keep a rag sprayed w cleaner then u just grab & wipe , smells fresh & customers would be happy ) . Or if you keep the empty bar clean it's easy to clean as the customers come . Idk why it's so hard for them to keep it clean & nice lots of other bars do it . I'm in my 20s and I love this place ! I got tired of Caribbean city. I learned about this place from my baseball team coach! This place is safer and the dj plays the hottest music ! Drinks are strong and cheap plus there's a taco stand outside when it closes so you can get a bite to eat on your way to the car. Had such a great time at their Tuesday night Karaoke!! Was not crowded at all so we could hit the dance floor and sing to whatever we wanted! Every Friday night, people are looking for a place that's crackin'. Every Friday night, that's when the majority of people are looking for a place to go to. I'll go ahead and save you some time. Peppertree Lounge is THE place to go. Not A place to go, but THE place to go. Shout out to Gio the bartender, working hard to make sure everybody is taken care of. Also Josh the bar back for helping things run smoothly. But this review would not be complete without mentioning Neel and Sheena, running the DJ booth. At no point were the songs not poppin' If you love to dance, this is the place to be. There is a diverse crowd and plenty of things to do. Two pool tables, a smoking section in the back which has a separate door so that you can converse without being drowned out by the music. My last shout out goes to Chris, the owner for the changes that allow this place to shine with the help of the aforementioned people. They also have Comedy on Monday and karaoke on Tuesday and Wednesday. Karaoke starts at 9 and I believe comedy starts at 8:30. Do yourself a favor and check this place out at least once, depending on your preferred event. You won't be disappointed. read more

They have these fun named drinks and the bartenders always take good care of you even when they have a rush they try their best to serve you. Every night they have something going Monday: Comedy Tuesday: Karaoke Wedneday:Karaoke Thursday:DJ Friday:DJ Saturday:DJ Sunday:DJ (oldies night). They also have two pool tables if you'd like to play a game or two. The regulars there are cool to socialize with. This bar is just a place to be at. Peppertree Lounge is discretely hidden behind a taqueria/bakery in the right corner of this commercial strip. it's prescene is advertised on the large standing sign for this strip. n the main sign. it's a small long-countered bar. 2 pool tables, music, booze, and the flatscreens are the main draw. pour: gin & tonic (4) -heavy pour, well worth it on draught: -a few brews and microbrews. -mostly older guys in the early afternoon, cool sports crowd. -lots of parking all around. read more

Hahaha. I like this place it has character. It has music. It has a weird location. And is surprising a lot better than what you think it is the place is small, a bit dicey, a tad divey, the dance floor, when packed I bet it's a bit sweaty but it seems like a fun spot has a lot of character that I just think you'll love or hate. It's like a Charming place that has a little bit of an identity crisis. And its Because there's just not enough room... the cool thing is there's an actual tree outside. But I don't know has character but why the pool table when there's not that much room?! That's what throws me off. The bathrooms are incredibly small. (And although it's not the bars fault) somebody threw up all over the toilet and into the sink...it was terrible. But I feel like it's a local Watering Hole and I'll say it again and has a lot of character. Not a bad place. Was expecting it to be empty but was surprised to actually see people here. The age range seems to be early 30s to 40 here. The music was a bit loud near the dance floor too and only some tweakers were dancing. The back smoking room was pretty sus but a nice addition nonetheless. I was a frequent regular before covid hit and i recently went into the bar on the 10th of November and there was a bartender with green hair and she was extremely rude. i went in to use the restroom i hadn't ordered a drink yet. i was smoking outside and as i walked out the restroom to continue my smoke brake she said really loudly across the bar "i have alcohol behind me so you can replenish what you left in the toilet" i found that extremely rude. she made it seem like i was just freeloading to use the restroom. she left a sour taste in my mouth. i decided to take my business elsewhere afterwards to another local bar. horrible customer service skills. i wouldn't bother going back after that. read more

Came here for my birthday and I had a BLAST! It was perfect and exactly the place I wanted to celebrate my birthday! Before hand I even called the owner and asked for the dress code, he was so nice and very helpful. Dress code is casual. My group of friends wore heels and we stood out. But there's no such thing as being too cute! :) PROS: -Music!!! I love the music they played. Only like 1-2 edm songs. Majority old school hip hop and common fun songs. They played my ne-yo and my fetty wap and even don Omar! I was the happiest person on the dance floor! -Cheap drinks! I think the drinks were around $6. So cheap compared to the drinks at clubs. -No cover charge. Don't have to rush the pregame in order to get there on time before they start cover charge. -CHAIRS! They had places to sit. I love it because I get tired from dancing, ESPECIALLY in my heels. -Parking: They have a huge parking lot. Makes life so much easier no having to worry about paying for parking or fighting for parking. CONS: -Small dance floor.
