This seems to be done on purpose so you can pay extra for them to install it for you. Some products might even take a certain level of experience to put together and get wiring right. The products are good quality and I've used them for years, but it's unnecessarily difficult. Ask them about the user manuals if you want I doubt you'll get anything. I also want to add that sometimes there seems to be user manual but with the pages ripped out. I'm not certain of the legality of that.

Now some items are priced higher than other places, but they are top quality. I was shopping for a rug for my patio and I found an item that matched my color scheme but I decided to look around at other items and when I returned to my choice a few minutes later, it was gone just that quick! Always secure your item first, you can always place it back if you change your mind or find something else. I could spend hours here just perusing the inventory.

A few days ago I purchased a large ceramic rabbit at this store to place in an assisted living. It cost 100 dollars. When I got home from the store, I picked the rabbit up by its head and the head broke off. I went back to the store and spoke with the store manager who told me her name was Debbie. I asked if they would replace the rabbit or at least give me a discount on a new one. Debbie told me "too bad so sad". She said there was nothing they could do to help me out. Debbie was so hostile and rude to me. I told Debbie that I have been a customer of At-Home for years and have spent a lot of money there. She told me "that's too bad." It's no wonder At-home had to file for bankruptcy last year when they have managers that are rude and not the least bit customer friendly. I still am shocked out how rude Debbie was to me.

They have all the cute and festive items for the seasons, adorable clothes for children, fun jewelry, amazing candles and more! I'm a frequent Pottery Barn customer and have a Pottery Barn credit card. I purchased an item at the Highland Village location last week and needed to make a return. The item still had the tags attached, so I stopped by the Town & Country store to return it. The associate assisting me appeared to be new and went to get another employee. The second employee immediately asked for my receipt. I explained that I didn't have it but that my purchase should be easily accessible through my Pottery Barn account and credit card. She responded by telling me she could not help me without a receipt. I then asked if Angela, the store manager, was available because I had never experienced an issue making a return before. I was told she was conducting an interview. Even after explaining that I was a regular customer with an account and credit card, the employee continued insisting that a return could not be processed. Only after further discussion did she ask whether I had an email address associated with my account. I provided it, and within moments she was able to locate the purchase and process the return--exactly as I had originally explained could be done. What disappointed me wasn't the return itself--it was the attitude. The interaction felt rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily argumentative from the start. A simple, courteous approach would have resolved the situation in less than a minute. Customer service isn't just about processing transactions. It's about how customers are treated. Whether someone has a receipt or not, there are respectful ways to communicate and assist. As a loyal customer, I expect to be treated with professionalism and courtesy. Thankfully, the return was ultimately completed, but the experience left me wondering why something so simple had to become so unpleasant. Because of how I was treated, I will not be returning to the Town & Country location. I will continue shopping at Pottery Barn, but I will take my business to other stores where customer service is a priority.
