When I saw the sign at the front door that said, "No photos please," I was pretty certain this wasn't my kind of shop. I was already there, so I went in. They have lots of Christmas decor right now. Other than that, you'll find artificial plants, lamps, throws, crystal and accessories. No one offered assistance to me while I was in the store. Whether you're going to like this store or not depends on how much you're willing to spend on accessories. No doubt they have some beautiful things, but they are SUPER EXPENSIVE. I'll lay out some cash for the lovely things that I like, but I'm not sure that I want to spend 800 dollars on a lamp. I got some great lamps at Tuesday Mornings instead.

    Looks real to me!

I was looking for an artificial plant and stopped in here this morning. I had been in here before and yes, it can be a little pricey, but everything they have is very good quality. I received excellent help and I am very happy with my purchase.

Oh my goodness! Fab ribbon at the accessory store.

Some of the items in the store are nice. Very expensive. Very snobbish. Definitely not a friendly atmosphere.

Great hidden secret in the Memorial Area that offers cute seasonal gift items and more…read more The owner Sarah started this whimsical gift place named Iris after her great grandmother who remembers in her youth how she would pick up Iris flowers . As a homage to her, she chose to offer baby items from newborn to 24 months and some larger sizes for older kiddos as enter on the right in the store . They even offer monogramming and etching to personalize your gifts and purchases. As you walk through the spacious area to the left of the store you will find fall items, holiday items ,things that smell delicious, spices and more . As a female owned business, she even has pop-up businesses in her store to help other females have a space that may not have a brick and mortar . Check them out for their amazing customer service , great holiday gifts and smiles.

Today I decided to check this place out since I had some extra time. Iris Gifts is very much a boutique store. I was immediately greeted with a smile. I told the store associate I was just looking and we left it at that. I love not being bothered, so I am completely fine after the initial greeting/offer of help until I ask for help later. They have all the cute and festive items for the seasons, adorable clothes for children, fun jewelry, amazing candles and more! I enjoy browsing stores like this when I have some free time to get ideas for later when birthdays and/or special occasions arise. In this area of town, you will find several boutique shops, but this one is very convenient and there is plenty of parking available. Some of my favorite items are the El Arroyo collection, the fun cocktail napkins and the decorative styrofoam cups. On the higher end, they sell beautiful, lovely smelling candles (one brand in particular is $115.00 - I don't know anything about the brand, so I can't give feedback on the price - maybe it lights itself - Lol), pretty costume jewelry, home decor pieces and alluring bath items that function as both decorative and useful. I was surprised to see the reviews are not higher for this shop. It's cute, it's friendly and it is full! What's not to love?!

I'm a frequent Pottery Barn customer and have a Pottery Barn credit card. I purchased an item at the Highland Village location last week and needed to make a return. The item still had the tags attached, so I stopped by the Town & Country store to return it. The associate assisting me appeared to be new and went to get another employee. The second employee immediately asked for my receipt. I explained that I didn't have it but that my purchase should be easily accessible through my Pottery Barn account and credit card. She responded by telling me she could not help me without a receipt. I then asked if Angela, the store manager, was available because I had never experienced an issue making a return before. I was told she was conducting an interview. Even after explaining that I was a regular customer with an account and credit card, the employee continued insisting that a return could not be processed. Only after further discussion did she ask whether I had an email address associated with my account. I provided it, and within moments she was able to locate the purchase and process the return--exactly as I had originally explained could be done. What disappointed me wasn't the return itself--it was the attitude. The interaction felt rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily argumentative from the start. A simple, courteous approach would have resolved the situation in less than a minute. Customer service isn't just about processing transactions. It's about how customers are treated. Whether someone has a receipt or not, there are respectful ways to communicate and assist. As a loyal customer, I expect to be treated with professionalism and courtesy. Thankfully, the return was ultimately completed, but the experience left me wondering why something so simple had to become so unpleasant. Because of how I was treated, I will not be returning to the Town & Country location. I will continue shopping at Pottery Barn, but I will take my business to other stores where customer service is a priority.
