We were redecorating our condo and looking for the linen curtains that were the best selling ones at PB and couldn't believe we scored all 10 panels here. If you're wondering which curtains they are, it's the vanilla colored grommet curtains which make your windows simple yet look like they're really dressed up. While the curtains are always sold out online, they have a decent selection of stock at this location. Go all the way to back of the store, towards where the designers are and ask the stock team to check the back for stock for whatever color curtains you're looking for. If they don't have them, they can order them and ship to you for free. Aura in here is serene. Team very helpful. All around a chill shopping experience. PRO TIP: This is the easiest Pottery Barn showroom in Houston to go to. Drive right up and PLENTY and PLENTY of parking to get your shopping done. read more

So I come in with the wife. See 2 workers in masks as mandatory. 1 is sweeping looks as if she is struggling to breath and work. Has her mask around her mouth but not her nose. None of this is an issue. She was struggling. I made a comment "if I had a vote you would not have to wear that mask" . This was me making a human condition with someone ,I was having sympathy and empathy for her situation. Any response would have been better. What I got was " let me guess you are a republican". I was not political with her was not saying mask is smart or stupid. I had one on as well as it is the rules right now and if I do not want to wear it I can stay home. I felt attacked for being human with someone. I talked with the manager who did not care. We left that store traveled 15 miles to the next PB and they got my money. This is my Go To location to get some inspiration ideas and get some really good deals on pillows cover. They have a really good selection of items on sale... Some discounted items are floor display pieces, but others are totally new. I like to come to this location on a weekly basis as I always find new items and they move things around so I always left the store inspired. They do need to add more wall decor stock to the store and glass rings. Their "meet and greet" they occasionally do are great too. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. They couldn't find it under my name or my daughter; who did her bridal registry there. We had purchased a complete set for 16. Somehow they put me on a distribution list I never requested to be on. I've requested to be unsubscribed 50 times. I've escalated to their corporate office 3 times. They are required to fulfill a request to be unsubscribed but have failed massively. Now I report all their emails from this store as spam. No way I'll ever shop at a pottery barn. I can't imagine how much unwanted email someone would get. The three escalations to their corporate office indicated they contacted this store. Today, ASSOCIATE # 333135 made sure I didn't enjoy my Pottery Barn shopping experience. I purchased several sets of caterer's dinnerware, having been looking forward to upgrading my mismatched everyday dinnerware. ASSOCIATE # 333135 inquired, "So, you must be having a big party tonight?" Not so big, I said, but the caterer's dinnerware seems like a good buy. ASSOCIATE # 333135 raised her eyebrows in surprise: "I've never heard that. But maybe it can come in handy if you run out of your better stuff." A nearby lady customer backed up ASSOCIATE # 333135: "Yep, you can afford to toss them out rather than wash them." I deflected the sarcastic comments, but I wonder why ASSOCIATE # 333135 felt the need to inform me that I was purchasing a sub-standard product? If I could give this store and Pottery barn negative reviews, I would. They really think they are doing you a favor by selling you overpriced furniture that takes 6 months to get to you. The attitude is just over the top. - Placed an order April 26, 2019. - Order was supposed to be shipped to the store and "someone" was supposed to call us. - We called back in May and June, took them forever to find the order that was placed in the store. - Gave us dates for mid to end of July for "someone" to call us when these get in. - We were told with a lot of Sarcasm that why are you calling, we are just too good and will call you. - I called in today (7/26/2019) and no one knows what happened to the order. Now it will have to be re-processed. If this is the kind of incompetency of people working in this store, someone at Potter Barn needs to fire that "someone" whose entire job is to track these orders - Because you failed massively. We went to Pottery Barn to register for our wedding, and I wasn't really sure what to expect. I had been in Pottery Barn before, but admittedly I just tried to rush through and get "shopping" over with. I don't like shopping, but I could really get used to this wedding registry stuff. We weren't really paid attention to when we first walked in, but there seemed to be loads of people and staff running around. But then we ran into Gail. She was amazing. She instantly had ideas and suggestions which helped us out immensely, as we really had no clue what we were doing. After talking to us for just a few minutes, she knew exactly our style, and made some incredible choices. And the store has tons of them. I am disheartened to even be writing this. I typically love Pottery Barn. So much so, I put them on my Wedding Registry. On top of receiving broken merchandise and mix matched dish sets, I am unable to receive any gift cards or merchandise credit. I returned a broken item to this store and was issued a merchandise credit that was supposed to be mailed to me. Over 7 weeks later and I have yet to receive it. I also have not received a gift card that was mailed from my registry. I have called and spoke with multiple people, both at the store at corporate, and have been unable to receive any answers. Ava decides to take my case and promises to return my call, but fails to do so. When I try to call her she states she is on her break and will follow up with me Monday. I was promised a call Thursday. No one seems competent and I do not know why no one has answers to why I cannot receive the gift cards and merchandise credit. I even asked if I can pick it up from this location and was told yes. Only to call this location and they have no idea what I'm talking about and told me they would call me back. But of course, they did not. There is absolutely no follow through with Pottery Barn, resulting in a horrible customer service experience. My money is sitting out there somewhere, but I am unable to use it or receive any updates on when I will be able to. If I had known what I know now, I would have never used them for my registry. I have gotten lots of furniture here and the craftsmanship is pretty good. A lot of the staff is very nice too. I recommend speaking with Ricardo who is a manager there and he is excellent at being helpful. I have gotten a sofa and several chairs and haven't had any problems. This has just become my favorite Pottery Barn location. It's not the closest to my home,but the customer service is superior for home furnishings stores. When this location did not have the size rug I needed, Kirk worked for a half hour past store closing tonight to do everything he could to obtain the rug needed at the internet discount of 15 percent (expiring today) without a shipping charge to me ( online ordering was charging $109 plus $50 delivery- although I had received an additional email offering free shipping. Kirk cut through all the red tape of trying , unsuccessfully, to order the rug on line. He went above and beyond and turned me from a puzzled shopper Into one who will be loyal to the Pottery Barn brand. I just wanted a rug- it's on its way! Many thanks, Kirk. read more

One of my best freinds was having his and his wife's bridal shower but we came here for ourselves intentionally. Fortunately we found a brick oven pizza paddle board thingy for our friends (don't know the official name, hopefully you get the pic). Our wedding was further down the trough so we registered a few items here: steamless wine glasses and mason drinking jars; the two items that we actually received. I could get lost in here and never try to find my way out. Sincerely, 4 years ago i would have loathed this place and anything like it b/c it represents my wife's infatuation with home decor, synonymous with a hole in my pocket. I wasn't 'giddy' about coming in here either, but i'm glad i did. i even watched a demo on this nifty state-of-the-art expresso maker that almost convinced me to start drinking coffee, exscuse me, expressos. Even as a tea-smith (blending my favorite flavors of herbs from Teavana and my local dealer) there were things here that would make my morning cup of tea something to desire more than normally. My wife couldn't wait to use those wine glasses, but now that she's knocked-up by yours truly those wine glasses have been collecting dust. The service is commendable and the items here will keep you visually stimulated the entire hour, even if you came just for a few minutes. I ordered the Pottery Barn Kids Tyler swivel glider recliner, for my daughter. We picked custom fabric so it took about 6 weeks. When the chair arrived it was the Pottery barn Tyler swivel chair. They left the chair and reordered, that's another 6 weeks and now she has a 10 day old baby. The chair arrived and they did the same thing!! It was the swivel chair, not the swivel glider recliner we ordered. We had them take both chairs and cancel the order because we were afraid it would happen a third time. We've order from another company. The chair was perfect for the nursery and we are very disappointed. I will not be ordering from Pottery Barn or Pottery Barn Kids again. I purchased candles on 7/10/21 at the Town & Country Village shopping center location in Houston, TX. While I was checking out, a customer was returning a duvet she had purchased on sale. A discussion took place between myself and the 2 sales associates at the check out counter as to the low cost of the duvet. I decided to purchase the duvet, and commented how I would try it out. Upon returning home, I noticed my receipt states the duvet was not returnable. I decided I did not want the duvet, and went back to the store on 7/16/21. I shared my situation with a sales associate, who asked the manager if I could return the duvet. I was told no. Pottery Barn employees have always been helpful in my prior experience. I would have expected to be informed of the inability of returning the duvet upon purchasing. In addition, I would have expected the manager to consider accepting my return. Since I am not a frequent customer of Pottery Barn, I am not aware of their practice of non-returnable items. Even though it was probably my responsibility as a customer to be more aware, I expected more top-notch customer service from a company such as Pottery Barn. read more

Selection was slim at best, have enjoyed their decorating ideas and would have bought a casual coffee table from them but only had one in stock and not what I wanted, will look online. Was told come back in March, if I wanted to wait until March I might. Usually not disappointed -- may go to RH, more upscale and better selection. Yesterday we saw a floor model sectional that we had planned to buy. The sales lady told us that we can pay for it and pick it up since a replacement was coming. Next day we plan the resources to pick it up and the store manager proceeds to tell us the replacement is late so we can't pick it up anymore!! This is the first time I encounter a furniture store not letting someone pick up their purchase and proceed to say they see it as a small inconvenience to tell their customer to wait indefinite time until they get their 'floor' organized. This is the last time I'm shopping there and dealing with this terrible customer service! read more

Had to order silk drapes, had good help. Bought hardware, not such good help! Took hardware home to wait for drapes. Drapes arrived, hardware was not all there, back to change out. Being a glutton for punishment, went back for pull backs to match and stood in the drapery area for twenty minutes and could not get waited on. The bedroom silk drapes project has been on going since winter. Service in this store is horrible. Their products are pricey and frankly, I don't think they need my business! read more

This review is for Ribbed Glass Pendant Nickel Hood+Nickel Pole Kit, Small (Item #: 3863685) Store: Conveniently located on Memorial Drive near City Centre and is accessible via I10 and Beltway 8. Product: I originally ordered six (6) units of this product and got this shipped to my house in a very timely manner. Out of six (6) units, two of the globes were defective and required a second visit to the store for ordering replacement. As I already had the nickel poles installed, I had to order two additional units to be able to not create supply chain issue. The new units arrived and the threaded fitting on one of the new units was faulty, which made me use parts from two different shipments to make the product work. Overall, these pendant lights look very nice. However, the time and effort it needed for install/reinstall and three visits to the store makes me wonder if I would consider Pottery Barn for any future needs. As a store that claims to be above average; air bubbles in the pendant globes and faulty threaded fittings, should be unacceptable. This resulted in lots of wasted time and effort that I could've used to do something more productive around the house. Store Staff: All the store associates that I dealt with during this experience were very patient and helpful, and were the only positive experience during this entire purchasing/re-purchasing process. Overall, I would say that this was a three star experience and resulted in a customer who would think many times before going back and shop with Pottery Barn. read more
