We caught the owner over charge us on the bill. The service was terrible...borderline rude. Also, they don't have high def television.

Service wasn't the fastest, but everyone was friendly and welcoming. What really stood out for me was the vegan menu. I was genuinely excited to see solid options, and I'd absolutely go back just to work my way through more of them. I ordered the Vegan Chardonnay pizza -- bianca sauce, roasted garlic, roasted mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, vegan cheese, and rosemary. I'm usually not a white sauce person, but this one completely won me over. It was rich, flavorful, and balanced in a way that made every bite interesting without feeling heavy. The crust was also excellent -- that perfect mix of airy and crisp. Bonus: the leftovers reheated surprisingly well in a dry pan on the stove. The only downside was the garlic... and I mean seriously heavy. I smelled like garlic for a full 24 hours afterward, despite brushing, mouthwash, showering, and mints. Not subtle. Still, I'd order it again without hesitation. Worth it.

We had a Chardonnay and a Bellevue pizza along with an apple dessert pizza and some meatballs as an appetizer. The pizza was great. Generous toppings, nice sauces, thin but not crispy crust. The apple pizza was okay. Dare I say on par with CiCi's apple pizza, only smaller and much more expensive. The meatballs were tasty, decent marinara. But the balls were small. For the price I expected something bigger. Service was adequate. The dining room was comfortable. We found street parking right in front. Not sure if they have a lot. Overall, the move from three to four stars was the pizza. A little pricey, but worth it.

Please come to this restaurant if you are in the Cincinnati area!…read more First, I wish to state that I am not from Ohio and that this is my first time eating at Two Cities, but this restaurant might be my favorite pizza shop going forward. Second, I only had two of the items on the menu but so many of the other options on the menu looked amazing as well. This Two Cities was built inside the old city hall of Mason, with Mason being a cozy little town in of itself. The restaurant smells amazing upon entering, course it would because they cook their food fresh. It's even got a little ramp that leads down to the main seating area for mobility impaired persons. My first minor issue with this Two Cities was that the booth I was sitting at was slightly raised by a literal step, which nearly made me trip while exiting the booth because I hardly noticed getting into the booth due to my height (6'3 at the time of writing review). There are other booths though that are not raised, so an opinion is to be based of where you are seated. My waitress was really kind and offered a helpful opinion when I was deciding on which pizza to get after being seated by a host. The waitress also allowed me to put in my order all at once (drink, appetizer, and entree). The appetizer (garlic parmesan fries) arrived fast and were undoubtedly scrumptious; the fries were a near perfect mix of crunchy and soft with the shredded parmesan and minced garlic adding extra flavor. Their ranch is also superb. I got the 13" Rhythm Road Pizza (which I shared with someone. I could not eat half of a deep dish pizza alone) and it was something else. Most importantly, it had MASHED POTATO on it instead of a traditional pizza sauce and notably, chipotle aioli drizzled on top (there are more toppings, of course, but they're more normal toppings). Unfortunately, the pizza slices were unevenly sliced, leading to inconsistent slice size and the toppings slide off the pizza easily when scooped up with the provided pizza spatula, all minot grievances of course. The only true complaint I had with this Two Cities was that my waitress did not actively seek out to refill my glass when it was empty. I will say that my drink was not close to the edge for her to see, but it was within view from any view of the table. There were a relatively high number of customers in the restaurant for the time I was there (about an hour before closing), so I don't hold it against her for not noticing. The cups were average size, so I wasn't exactly dying of thirst while dining. The music inside was of good taste and was at a very respectable volume. The other patrons were also well mannered and I had no need to raise my voice to speak to my dining buddy. The final thing I wish to add to this review is how nice the bathroom was. They were very clean, had two urinals (short and tall), one wheelchair accessible stall, nice smelling soap, a simple water control handle, a foot doorhandle, and MOUTHWASH. This is only public building I have ever been in that has offered complementary mouthwash, let alone a bathroom. This could be an Ohio or Midwest exclusive thing, but I enjoyed using the mouthwash nonetheless.

Not the best pizza but they have two unique styles (New York or Chicago) depending on your tastes…read more We went on a Friday evening and it was pretty crowded and the noise level was high. Be prepared to drop $25 - $30 for a pizza for 2 or 3. Good beer and wine list. Tight parking at busiest times. No reservations but they do a call ahead so call ahead for the fastest service.

Instead, we found a restaurant conducting what appeared to be a live experiment in lowering expectations. Before anyone welcomed us, we were informed that someone "wasn't supposed to be here until 4." We then discovered they had no beer, no ice, and very little interest in pretending either was unusual. It was roughly 95 degrees outside, so naturally we asked if there was somewhere cool to sit. We were seated on the patio while the air-conditioned thrift shop--with restaurant seating--remained comfortably available to everyone except paying customers. Now let's discuss the food. We ordered mozzarella sticks, garlic bread, and two pizzas. The mozzarella sticks never arrived. The garlic bread arrived with the pizzas, suggesting the kitchen has adopted a refreshingly flexible interpretation of the word appetizer. Margo spent most of the meal trying to identify what flavor the pizza was intended to be. After several bites, the leading theory remained "none." It's surprisingly difficult to remove all personality from pizza, yet here we are. The antique shop behind the restaurant was genuinely enjoyable. Admittedly, I spent most of that visit wondering whether the building had been condemned before or after opening hours. Overall, we invested two hours of windshield time for a meal that seemed only loosely committed to being a restaurant. One star for the antique shop. One star because eventually we were fed. The hour-long drive home was, by a comfortable margin, the most satisfying part of the evening
