Stopped in to redeem the small pizza offer from the Cincinnati Reds. Nice place. The pizza was a thin crust cheese and pepperoni very tasty. Also ordered side salad very vegetables and the Italian dressing was good. The service was very good also. A very clean dining area. read more

Larosa's used to be great but the frozen pizza crust they use for their traditional style will chip your teeth. Also, stingy on the sauce. Sad to see them decline. I've never had any issues with this location! I love LaRosa's pizza. I also like their Rondos, breadsticks, wings, salads, and sandwiches. Even when we get delivery it seems to be the fastest pizza delivery and they are always so polite. My favorite place to order delivery pizza from. This location of this iconic local chain doesn't seem to have the charisma of some of the others, maybe because it's newer. I've been there a couple of times and the service is usually speedy, but the food (having tried pizza, sandwiches and salad) is just ok. I prefer the Covington location. read more

Dining in at this particular LaRosa's is always pleasant. The servers are happy and it's normally a pretty clean environment. Service is top-notch. My beef comes with the online ordering/pick-up orders. EVERY single time I've ordered something that isn't the norm (light sauce, extra croutons, etc), the order is wrong. I should really check it before I leave, but the point of picking up at lunch is that I'm in a hurry and don't have time to wait for another pizza or salad to be made because they got the order wrong. read more

This Larosas is great, they seem to be a notch above all of the other ones. The Taylor Mill location is the one closest to our home, every since this location moved it has seemed to suffer growing pains and orders are very inconsistent. Warning- Larosa's is serving bad bacon. Tonight we got a pizza that had expired or tainted, very rank smelling bacon. When I called, after being transferred three times, I was told that they are aware of a problem with their bacon from their supplier. So I asked why would you still serve it and her answer was "well we don't know which stores have the bad bacon"! Seriously?!?! I don't complain to restaurants ever but I'm so concerned that they have choose to serve the bacon at every store until complaints come in that I wants to warn everyone. They wanted the names Of each family member that ate it so they can have corporate call us and check up on us later! She came back and I asked what the soups were--4 different soups, I chose the onion and because I needed something else...not a salad because I remember their salads being subpar, I ordered the 5 boneless wings with medium sauce. $3.89 didn't seem too much, but when she brought them, they were basically really overdone pieces of breaded chicken that were sort of tossed on "top' of sauce, maybe a little "schmeer" here or there. Not true wings, certainly, and even more silly was that when I noticed they were served without celery and asked for some, the server told me they "didn't give celery anymore with wings." She brought my bill and I noted that the onion soup was $4.00 (?), I quickly paid (if, rather begrudgingly) and left. I got the lunch special, small pizza two toppings and a salad. The pizza had almost no toppings on it, their sauce is very sweet. I'm not really a big fan, I went here because the other two places I wanted to go to were really packed for lunch. The salad was warm and wilted and pretty horrible. Found in the heart and outskirts of Cincy, this pizza place impressed me from the moment I walked in. The only reason I went was because the Reds got 11 strikeouts on the Cards (I'm not kidding, this is the deal). Then my wife and I usually share a double pepperoni pizza which we like. We usually end our dinner with their chocolate chip cookies which come out fresh from the oven It always does the trick. This location at Carothers Rd in Newport is an okay location however it's typical of the chain. Nothing spectacular about it but at the same time it's a place to have your LaRosa's fix. The place is usually busy on a Friday or Saturday night however the servers usually try their best and try to get your orders out in a very timely manner.
