Morgan did a great job taking care of my friends and I! We can be a rowdy bunch, barking demands and continuously changing our minds. Morgan was patient and understanding. She took time to listen to our stories and crack a joke. Even with about a dozen of us, she always made sure there was plenty to drink and that we had everything we needed. I had the traditional wings and a BLT Salad. Morgan apologized for being out of the Family Recipe Creamy Garlic Ranch Dressing and was quick to offer an alternative. The wings were cooked perfectly! They were crispy and juicy, perfectly done! Sometimes I go to a wing joint and they're overcooked and rubbery, so my expectations were exceeded at every turn! Usually, I speak of the food, but this time I want to speak of the service! We ordered delivery last night. When the food came, right on time, my grouchy dog barked barked barked at the knock at the door. When we went out to grab the food, we saw the delivery driver actually left a small dog bone for our little monster. What an absolutely fantastic touch to service! Larosa's is not my favorite pizza. I don't prefer their sauce and find the bread to be pretty floury. However, I enjoy some of their other menu options. For example, their calzone is very good. I still am not the biggest fan of the sauce so I do not recommend a pizza calzone, but would rather recommend a chicken ranch calzone with banana peppers. They also have really good lasagna and pasta dishes. I have had no issues with any experience here and would recommend it if you're looking for a family dining experience. read more

Though there pizza is good, being born and raised on the east coast to me there pizza is not on my top 5 in the area. I like the big fold able sloppy NY style where grease runs down your arm. With that being said , this location and there staff are super friendly and helpful. I've never had a bad meal here. What I like about Larosa's the most is the amount of civic pride they take in this area and how much they give back to the community. I think it's time for an update on this location!! It's been 4 years from my last review here. And I'm happy to say that this location is still on point and I'm there game!! Super friendly service!! And always super yummy food!! My new go to here is there spice garlic wings!! I'm the last several weeks I have had the wings 4 times and always love them!! The garlic French fries are wonderfully and the French onion soup is also a family fav!! Oh and so is the lasagna!! We tried the crust less pizza it was well crust less Just not our thing I guess lol. read more

I called a few days ago to order a pizza and I was transferred to the LaRosa's hotline to place my order. The lady was really nice and placed my order and told me when to come get it. I showed up before it should have been ready. Once I made it inside I was greeted warmly and was asked if I had a call-in. I said yes and they seemed to turn instantly around with my pizza on hand. The little girl at the counter provided a generous portion of plates and napkins to go with our order. The pizza I ordered was a double pepperoni because that was in one of the reviews I read about LaRosa's that said that double pepperoni was one of the most popular. The amount of pepperoni and cheese that were on that pizza were very generous. The crust is a very nice consistency that is soft and yet crunchy around the edges. The sauce on the pizza was my least favorite part of the whole experience. The sauce was more sweet than what I am used to. All in all I would definitely go back to this restaurant if I lived here in independence. I'm starting to wish I would have dined. read more

This location is usually a great place to eat. I have noticed lately the quality of food has rapidly dropped. I'm sure it has something to do with supply chain issues or a Covid problem. Regardless, changing the amount of food you give a customer shouldn't be acceptable. The salads used to be packed and with a better lettuce. That isn't the case anymore. Server came to our table 45 minutes after ordering to say "the kitchen is slow tonight, but your food will be out later, hopefully within 5 minutes".. as a former server, I knew that meant she forgot to ring In our order. 1hr 20 minutes sitting here, we finally got our food. Skip to the check, and the receipt said *do not make* on our dinner, which means she did in fact forget to ring in our food. (I prefer the honesty about forgetting than blaming the kitchen when 6 tables around us came in after us and got their food and checks before we even got our food).. We also had to ask for refills when we wanted them. While she didn't seem too bothered, the bartender spilled some beer on my mom on accident. Eventful visit! read more

I LOVE LaRosa's Pizza and I will use any opportunity to go there when I'm in town. My family and I went to larosa's instead of doing a big dinner for thanksgiving. There were 8 of us on a Saturday around 5. Our server was quick and efficient. Luckily, the restaurant wasn't too busy. I had the just right meal with a salad and small pizza. It was (for lack of a better term) just right! Going to LaRosa's always brings back memories of celebrating childhood successes. And the pizza is always delish! I was surprisingly pleased by this sit down Larosa's. I had to get pizza from a different location before and was disappointed. I highly recommend the chicken and sun-dried tomato flatbread, and the rondos. Wait staff was good, and very patient with a very rambunctious table by us. We had a chance to dine here on a Saturday afternoon (around 1pm). There really wasn't a line or wait to get into the restaurant which was surprising considering how new the restaurant looked. Let's start with the positives: the food was delicious and the place was very well kept. Also, the person tending the bar (sorry for not remembering a name) did a fantastic job making sure mistakes were fixed. Now for the not-so-positives: When we were seated, we were told that a guy would be our server. A girl ended up serving our drinks, and she wasn't even sure if we were supposed to be in her section or someone else's. 10 minutes later, soft drinks were brought to our table. We were planning on ordering an appetizer before our actual order; however, since Savannah, our server, took 20 minutes to finally take an order of ours we had to order them together. The flatbread appetizer came out about 15-20 minutes after the order (which was fine). We needed refills on our drinks, and plates for the flatbread, but neither were given until the bartender (I believe) stepped in and saw that we needed them 5 minutes later. Our pizza came out 15 minutes after the appetizer, and while half of our party was pleased with their steak hoagie and calzone (both were fine), the other half that ordered a pizza came out incorrect. We originally ordered the four-meat pizza. Our server once again failed to notice we needed refills, and didn't ask to make sure our pizza was correct when it got to our table. After checking the pizza, we realized it wasn't anything remotely close to what we ordered, and instead was something similar to a supreme pizza. When we told our server this when she returned a few minutes later, she said she'd check with the kitchen and that she thought it looked right. She came back a minute later (the only time she did anything fast), and told us that the cooks said that the four-meat pizza comes with mushrooms and had onions on it (which it doesn't). The bartender noticed that the pizza wasn't what we wanted, so he came over and told us that he'd have another one made the right way. Meanwhile, still no refills for our family. No discount was taken off the bill for the incorrect pizza or waiting for 45 minutes to get the right food. In total, we were at the fairly empty restaurant for more than an hour and a half, and spent $50 between the four of us. While I have been a fan of LaRosas all my life, I can certainly say I will not be coming back to the Independence location. I hope they can fix their "growing pains" with the new location or take some tips from a few other franchises around Northern Kentucky. It's my hope that this is just the exception, and not the rule at this location; however, I really don't want to go back to try again. read more

This location is not a bad spot. They do have a nice bar area and the service has always been good. If you are a LaRosa's fan then I think you will be pleased. If you have not had LaRosa's, it really depends on your pizza experiences. For me, growing up in New Jersey, I find the pizza okay, not bad but not great either. I do like the enclosed patio area which is nice, especially during the colder months where I still want to have that outside view but stay warm. They do run into the same problem as many of the other restaurants in the area do, which is a lack of good craft beer and for what they do have, they charge a little more than what they should. But all in all, it's okay but nothing that would make me want to go out of the way for as a place to eat. read more

Very new to the area and don't know where all the GOOD places are located. So we ordered from here never having la rosa's. It's not that great at all, super super super saucy. I knocked off a TOn of sauce and re-topped my pizza. The pizza 'crust' wasn't very crusty, way undercooked. And the website to order is ancient! Update your page for easier ordering! I had to eventually call in because I couldn't figure out how to finish my order. Wings were the best part of my order. They aren't the best but it was better than the pizza & sticks. We ordered pizza last Friday night. I had found a coupon on retail me not for a free medium with the purchase of a large at regular price. Online wouldn't take the code so I called it in. A manager would not honor this coupon so I said forget it. We then ordered online using a different (and not as saving) coupon. When the delivery guy shows up he has 4 pizzas instead of 2. They didn't cancel the called in order. He took the other 2 back-what a waste!! I've always had great service from LaRosas but this experience was a total fail. 2 stars for the pizza. read more

Pizza is almost always good. I think depending on who's working that night, will depend on if your pizza is good. The last couple of times we ordered a pizza there was hardly any sauce and everything seemed to have slid down to one side so it was completely uneven. Salads are good sometimes. Usually it's all fine but every now and then you get a bad one with old lettuce or again, depending on who's working will depend on if the salad is full to the top or only filled halfway. Lastly I got a calzone the last time we did takeout and half of it was still doughy. I could only eat the center piece and just a bit of the outside ones. LaRosa's has always been a favorite of mine and I was super excited when this store opened. In the past the staff have always been great. These past few times, I have gone, I have been met with attitude as if I was an inconvenience. I try not to complain, but seriously this is getting worse. A server (teenage female) thought that spilling pop on me was hilarious and then proceeded to tell her friends right in front of me before she brought the paper towels to me. I have never been so furious. I spoke with the manager and hey!! I got a free pop and a new server! So, first time in there today...went in...nobody at the counter...waited a few minutes...they were in the bar putting up xmas decorations..all of them...walked in asked if I could order some food..of course they came over...and I did...ordered a Hawaiian Pizza..no bacon..I guess I got the regular crust...and a salad...the salad was good..antipasto salad..plenty of cheese and meat..just fine..however, honestly as a traveling musician I'm used to really GOOD PIZZA.....NY style...LA STYLE.....especially having just moved here from FL where the NY pizza was good and plentiful..the pizza itself was wayyyyyy to doughy..and the pizza crust was not flavorful..can't recommend it...the pizza just didn't taste good..they snuck in these pieces of pepperocini all on the pizza...that just was WRONG!! It didn't belong on a pie....The pizza sauce was flavorless and really the pie tasted like it didn't really get baked in the oven nearly long enough..I forced 3 pieces down..threw it out...what a disappointment...hey I don't care about price...I do care about flavor..this didn't taste like pizza...I'm not sure what it tasted like but it wasn't good...I'll try a thin crust next time..since this is the alleged best pizza in town here..me, I'm not convinced..I'm sure there are other items to try and without doubt I'll find something I like...that Hawaiian..ugh...not good...not good at all.. read more

I've ordered delivery several times and they're really inconsistent. When they first opened all was good, but lately there have been several problems. Barely warm food, incorrect orders, rude managers, long delivery times and sometimes under cooked and sometimes over cooked. Ordering from their app has been a headache at times too. I have eaten at a-lot of laRosas but the store in Independence ky I have never ever been so humiliated in all my life just because i had a complaint a few times on my food a manager told us i we were not allowed to cone in there no more to eat so a year later we decided to go back thinking he would not say anything although we did nothing wrong for him to tell us that we gave it one more chance low and behold because my coke was flat and i asked if i could get a new one the same waitress went and told him i asked for a new coke and he came and sat down at our booth and said you guys aren't allowed in here i told you that a year ago you complained about your chicken wings not being right miss and he kept saying miss and he said it loud enough for other customers could hear and told us we had to leave after we already ordered drinks and a salad then he also discussed it with all the employees because they all were looking at us when we left at the front register you don't make a paying customer leave just because you didn't get there meal right and you don't try and humiliate them in front of everyone very very rude manager TIM CRAWFORD.... read more
