My husband and I were at the Brunswick County Botanical Garden for a bit. We were hungry for lunch, so I googled and found this place. It had a 4.5 star rating. The interior is tiny with 4-5 small tables. There is outside dining at picnic tables but there were no umbrellas. We ordered the margarita pizza and added sausage and mushrooms, a large one. We always like left over pizza. We were given a basked of garlic knots. They were delicious but were swimming in butter and olive oil. The pizza was very good and I always like a thin crust. The sauce was tasty but I thought the sausage was flavorless. My husband disagreed with me. The girls behind the counter were very nice and friendly. If we are in the area, we'll definitely go back. Lived in BSL for a while, now in Winnabow and we still go here because it's good, fresh and consistent. The team is always friendly and we've never had a delivery or pickup order missing anything. We've probably had pizza on about 15 different occasions here and it's always good, always perfectly cooked, always the same amount of ingredients. The crust has a good flavor and the right amount of chew. The sauce tastes pretty good to me. My absolute favorite is the double double which is double cheese and double pepperoni. Super good! Also tried a few of the different hot and cold subs which were all good and they make a really good loaded salad too. Tried the chicken parm and although decent, rhe chicken seemed to be previously frozen or the Tyson precooked variety. The garlic knots, wings and fried apps are all pretty good although standard frozen US foods type stuff. I read these negative reviews complaining about the quality, taste and price... I'm sorry but I just don't get it. This place is legitimately good. The price? Sorry but this ain't little Caesars or Domino's with a coupon and it's still cheaper than Bambinis, Pizzettes, Mo's woodfired, Sebbys etc. The quality is good, it's what you would expect from a small pizzaria. Definitely better than Dry street and blows away the chains. The taste? Look it's not the best pizza in the world but it's good. Good enough to hit that pizza craving spot and good enough to want again. Give this place a shot and see what you think. read more

Being a local I know this place all too well. They make sure to charge you the absolute most while providing you with the least amount of food as possible. The subs are these tiny short little subs with 3 slices of meat. Steak and cheese? Forget about it, Both ends are all bread, with a tiny little scoop of meat in the middle . Chicken Calzones? Only 2 chicken tenders in the entire thing, but they charge you $18. For $18 I can make a calzone at home to feed my entire neighborhood using the portions this restaurant uses. Mozzarella Sticks? 6 little sticks for $10 after tax. Once you look at them you'll think to yourself, $10 for these tiny things? Rip off. Pizza? Expensive and very inconsistent as it's always undercooked. Saying well done means nothing. The first time I said well done, the pizza somehow came out more undercooked than the last pizza we ordered. It's a disaster. And guess what? They have one of those stand and look at you while you fill out the tip slip even though they're only providing counter service. It's awkward. So not only do they provide you with portions that highly favor the business, they also want you to pay their employees wages for a service they don't even provide. Theres no pizza/sub place in all Brunswick county I'd recommend less than this place. read more

Stopped by for a large pie and a Greek salad. Explained that my son has a deadly allergy to peppers and to keep any off the salad. Returned home to find the salad covered with peppers. When I called to let the restaurant know, I explained that I wasn't interested in a refund and that I only wanted to let them know for training purposes due to the severity of my sons allergy. I got a large pizza from here. There were so many huge bubbles in the pizza and it came burnt. The crust was extremely thin so the topping just kept sliding right off the pizza including the cheese and all. The delivery service was good and in came in good timing. I have never eaten in at this place so I can't speak on the atmosphere. read more

Beware ordering take out. Use paper bags which are stapled. Got home to find sauce and garlic butter from knots soaked into the passenger seat. I called to complain. I love pizza. And I live in a large city where we have lots of pizza options. But the Pepperoni Grill could give just about any of my local pizzerias a run for their money. It's a pizzeria so don't expect anything fancy inside. And they don't serve alcohol so plan on carry-out if you just have to have a beer or wine with your pizza. They make their own crust. You can get thin crust or hand tossed. We had a vegetable garden thin crust and a hand tossed carnelicious- sausage, pepperoni, and sliced meatballs. Both were excellent. I kept tasting little bits of roasted garlic on my pizza- it was fabulous. This place is well worth the drive if you live in Southport or near one of the beaches. read more

Let me start by saying I like their food, and they are close to where I live, so I order from them fairly often. That being said, I am very disappointed, in fact angry about their policy for using the coupons they send me in my email. I participate in a points program. Occasionally I get an offer for some discount. Tonight it was buy a pizza, get a second 50% off. I call them for delivery, place my order and tell them I have a coupon. They tell me that I can only use it if I come in the store. I ask why, and get several lame excuses about people lying about the coupon, or using them more than once etc. Expressing my disappointment makes no difference. It is a "management decision." It makes no sense. Why have the stupid points program if it only serves to piss off the customer? I'm hungry and tired and don't feel like arguing to no avail, so I placed the order anyway. That is how they get away with the lame policy. It will absolutely affect my future decisions to buy from them. I am now going to cancel my involvement with the point program so as not to be tempted to buy from them again. Fair Warning if you think that coupon is any good. It's not. In addition the few bucks I would have saved is no exchange for my time and frustration. I absolutely hate stupidity. read more

A must go restaurant if you visit Southport! The food was priced really well for how much you get and the selection was good and exactly what you would expect from a pizza parlor. We ordered the garlic knots and lasagna pizza and OMG! It was hands down the BEST pizza I have ever had! I would absolutely recommend this place to any and everyone! As a note the place is tiny so if you have a big party you will likely not be able to eat in house. The staff was also wonderfully polite! read more
