Great location. Very clean. Great seating, both indoor and outdoor with a bar that services both areas. Ambiance is nice with a sports bar atmosphere. Food was good, the burger was cooked perfectly with great accompaniments, with one exception, the french fries. I do not like seasoned coated fries. You know the ones that are pre-seasoned before you fry them? Yep, those. I like seasoning on them, after they've been cooked. I know they do that more for a crunchy texture aspect. However, major dislike for me. Service was great. Beer was cold. Nice place. I will continue to go there. I just won't order fries. read more

I'm going to be honest I got let down when I eat I thought this was a 4 star at least but after eating my meal I'm changing it to 3 stars (also I don't like giving low ratings) 1. The Ambience When I walk in i got hit with a wings style restaurant with TVs on the roof and a bar I got seated in a booth and the food came pretty fast and I ate and left 2. The service It was fine it was just some dude working nothing much. 3. The food (I'm sorry for what I'm about to say) Why my food made so bad but fine at the same time the wings were watery no sauce just water the cajun flavor just didn't exist so yeah it was bad. (While I was in the bathroom the power went out) So I gave this place a 3 star. read more

Food- street tacos were okay, wife's burger was dry. Seems like the burgers are being premade and then warmed up. Service- waitress took drink order for our 6 person group, water,soda and draft. Water and soda promptly arrived. When our food arrived several minutes later, I had to remind the waitress about the draft. After dining we headed to the patio for some live music. Ambiance- music for that night sounded great from the live band on the patio. Turn OFFs- Behind the band we had professional wrestling on the large screen TV, visually awful. Turn the TV "OFF". Another item of complaint, having 8-10 kids running around the patio like a day care center, with no parents in site, might just drive away paying customers. Oh wait, there would have been paying customers if a server ever came out to the patio. Spent 45 minutes on the patio and not one server ever came out to see if we needed anything. Came here to eat with my family. The burgers were pretty good. The wings were very flavorful, we got the lemon pepper ones. I loved the feel of the restaurant, it seemed very relaxed and comfortable. My fiancé and I went into Fatboys-Crestview when they opened at 10 am. The restaurant's ambiance is spot on. One of the better decorated restaurants in Crestview. From their comfortable red booths to their gorgeous artwork on the walls, all the way to their light fixtures. Whoever created the decor knew what they were doing. They also have outdoor seating and karaoke on certain days. Our service was really good. The hostess immediately sat us with a smile and our server came over to us right away and often throughout our stay. Our drinks were always full, we were provided napkins, and the food and drinks came out quickly. The house fries are worth the trip alone. Perfectly cut, thickness between a fry and steak fry and they are seasoned too. Not soggy at all just crispy and delicious. For the ambiance, service, and awesome fries I'm giving 3 stars. Starter was the calamari appetizer, as we love calamari. The calamari was coated with what I would describe to be a chicken tender coating- very thick and heavy, super crunchy, but flavorful. It was just too thick for our personal liking and you couldn't taste the calamari. Needs a panko coating or something light- nothing heavy or greasy. We ordered the marinara with it and it was ice cold. I recommend to the owners heating it up as it's not enjoyable dipping your hot food into freezing cold sauce and then eating it. I ordered the special- you either get a chicken sandwich or a burger with a drink and a side of fries for $12.99. Great price for a special. Too expensive otherwise. Fries were amazing. Got the chicken grilled, and it was butterflied and pressed (?) and super thin and dry. Comes with a very small amount of sauce, & they forgot the pickles but I got them from the hostess. Chicken is the same thickness as a sliced tomato (pictured below). This did make it so the food came out quickly, since grilled chicken breast normally has a long cook time. The ingredients were great quality (brioche bun, etc). Still prefer Whataburger's grilled chicken sandwich, as it has more flavor and is juicier. My fiancé ordered the Caesar salad. I DON'T recommend. Dressing seemed homemade and extremely tasty but it stops there. The romaine salad is covered in bland mini croutons. Parm was terrible. You expect shredded or shaved Parmesan when you order a Caesar salad but their salad is covered in grated Parmesan cheese (the kind you shake over a pizza). The texture mixed with the dressing is super gritty and shaker cheese has bad flavor. Ruined the salad. Maybe change to a flavored crouton and a shredded or shaved version of the cheese it to salvage it? Till then, don't get it. It disappoints. I haven't tried their burgers, I've heard great things. We'll come back to give it another shot. We believe in local business and we know they are just starting out. read more

Love coming here for trivia, the food, and the cool vibe. I order the Garden Salad with fried chicken and ranch. It's massive....like I struggle to finish it...but soooo good! This last time I was there, they had a B1G1 burger/sandwich, so I got the crispy chicken sandwich. Very good as well, slightly sloppy though. My husband typically gets the spiciest burger on the menu, and he rates that burger on his top 5 burgers he's ever eaten. The staff is friendly, and are quick to get us seated. They rearrange tables all the time to accommodate large groups, and there is a private roon that can be reserved, as well as a patio outside for nice days. Had the 6 piece wings with Fat boy Fire sauce. I like flats but it cost extra for all flats. I thought it would be a 50/50 mix but I got all drumsticks. I'm also a sauce guy and that cost extra as well. To my dismay the 6 piece had barely any sauce and far from FIRE. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. The service was fast and professional. Went in Jan 4th. Around 6. Our server was a young man with a red I fat boys shirt. The service was absolutely outstanding. This young man was not only kind but attentive and a great human being. Even held the door for my family on the way out. Our food was delicious. We had wings, a burger and a Cesar salad. All were great. Happy hour included GREAT deals and not to mention karaoke!! Most negative comments seem to be about price. I don't know, inflation hasn't been fun for any restaurant. This isn't McDonalds so I expect to pay a bit more. Nothing overly special about the food but I don't have anything really negative to say either. Kind of a bad food type set up. Server was attentive and service wasn't too slow. Biggest plus is they seem to have filled the "family sports bar" market that Crestview generally lacks. They've put up a lot of flat screens so not a bad spot to consider for game day. read more

Good server, clean and well lit restaurant, decent sized fry serving, but that's about the best of it. $33 for 2 burgers and fries, no drinks would be tolerable if they were memorable and delicious, but they weren't. They were just there. Fries were different and tasted ok. Don't try and substitute a different type of cheese, they'll charge ya $1.50 w/out warning. Lots of big screen TVs so it's probably a happening place during game time. But it won't be a place we will go back to. read more

First time trying this place. My wife had the firehouse burger with house sauce on the side. They said the house sauce was very spicy but my wife said the peppers were lot more hotter. I had the I love bacon burger and it was very good. You get a lot of fries and they were very hot and crispy. We will be coming back again. Give it a try for yourself. read more

I gave this place 3 stars for a few reasons.. 1. I really dont think their prices are worth the food, overcharged. The burgers werent bad, I do think a little over seasoned though, but other than that the food is good, just not great. The fries were really good! Reasons 2&3, I paid $4 extra for cheese fries and called to get it on the side, they didn't give it, as well as bacon on my cheeseburger which is an additional charge as well that they also did not give. I feel delivery experiences should be just as important as in person experiences.. and this was unfortunately my first time ordering from here. Customer service was nice though! read more

We went in on Sunday to watch some football and have a few drinks. We ordered the nachos. The bartender was so busy talking to the server, while taking our order, that she messed up on our order. She brought them back to have them fixed and then there was no guacamole (which is something that is included and we wanted it). We felt like something was missing but didn't quite know for sure. Then the couple sitting next to us ordered nachos as well and we saw the guac. When we said something to the bartender, she shrugged it off. Excellent sports bar type food and atmosphere. I had the bacon burger and it was very good along with the signature Fatboys-Crestview French fries. My wife had the Roadhouse burger if I remember correctly. It was basically a burger with pulled pork pulled high on top of the burger. Very good also. Sarah, our waitress, did a wonderful job waiting on us. Another waitress brought our food out and told us to be careful because it was very hot. Very nice of her to notice our order was up and take it to us instead of waiting for our waitress to see it. Great teamwork! We will be going back soon. read more

This place has changed hands several times in the 5 years we have been coming to Crestview. I think maybe, this one might stick. One of the few places you go now a days where they seem to have plenty of staff. Always quick to greet you, seat you, get ur drinks and order rolling. Have eaten there several times and don't think anyone ever complained about anything. Outdoor seating, plenty of TVs for sports and will join tables for bigger groups. The the ambience is nice, comfortable and I especially like the outdoor area. We came in today and had Aron and cheese bites, which were delicious, so crunchy and hot. I asked the server if they brewed their own tea and he really didn't know so I ended up getting a Coke zero. I asked if the boneless chicken wings were fresh and breaded in House, and he assured me that they were. When they came out, they were frozen chicken nuggets that were not real chicken but processed chicken, they have an amazing sauce on them, though the hot honey. my son got a chicken sandwich that was supposed to have buffalo sauce on it, but there was hardly any buffalo sauce on it. It was just like a little glob in the middle, so that was kind of disappointing, but the chicken was huge and tasty and crunchy. I also asked if I could get a side with my boneless wings and ordered the onion straws, and was actually charged for an appetizer of the onion straws, which is not what I wanted. Not sure where the communication breakdown was. I ordered a refill and he said I'll get your Coke, I said it's Coke. Zero he said oh yeah that's right, but I'm pretty sure it was a Coke that came out. Not the experience things that were really good were 100%. We were charged $20 for a Jack Daniel's and coke. I asked the manager what the hell was going on and she confirmed, confirmed the drink was $20. The site says it's a 2 out of 4 $ but it's a 4 out if 4 .. make sure the entire Elgin Air Base knows to avoid this place ... I know the manager will comment that since I've had some drinks, that I'd gotten out of hand. Truth be told my wife held most of the discussion. Watch the response and the restaurant will always blame the customer even if they've had one drink.
