Took our car in to have a diagnostic done. The hood struts have weakened and the hood must be manually propped up. Unfortunately their mechanic must have forgotten propping up the hood and when they attempted to shut it some damage was done. I went back and spoke with the owner who assured me they didnt do this damage and would look at the video records to prove it. I told the owner thats great. Well they never called me back to let me know what the video contained so I have little recourse except to let others know that this shop may have issues with personal accountability and responsibility. Per automotive is as good as it gets. Mike was a Saturn mechanic in the day and now has a shop of his own. i have owned Saturns since 2001,so when Saturn closed shop, all of their mexhanics had to find ither work, so i began using one of Saturn of Tempe's crack mechanics who knows everything about any Saturn ever made. but there was one problem on a nonSaturn vehicle, a Chevy Tracker, that this other mechanic went at for a couple of months and couldn't solve, but Mike found the problem first shot. Mike and his wife, Stormy, are ethical and knowledgeable people. they make good on their warrantees as well. i have been going to them for at least five years now and recommend them without reservation. my mom depends on them as well, instead of a local dealership who charges a fortune. read more

I have taken my spouse's, son's, daughter's, and my own vehicle in for regular maintenance and major repairs. Excellent work every time I have had the shop work on any of the vehicles. My personal truck is over 25 years old and runs like a new one thanks to Per Automotive. read more

Do not take your vehicle to this place. They are dishonest in the work that they claim to have performed. I was billed for a rebuilt carburetor, but it was not actually rebuilt. This was confirmed by an independent mechanic. Also, my motor was supposed to be rebuilt, but leaked major oil and transmission fluid after I brought it to them. Horrible horrible place. Overcharging and your vehicle won't be fixed correctly the first time because the $50 you pay for a diagnostic (that's right, $50!!!!) isn't thorough. Only a part of the problem will be fixed and the owners will deny they didn't do a thorough repair. So a week later (if you're lucky enough to go an entire week without another breakdown from the same problem) you will be charged ANOTHER $50 for the same issue. Parts and labor are drastically (almost criminally) overpriced. Parts are poor quality. Reception is rude, and has absolutely no idea about professionalism. If you have a complaint, she gives you attitude and the mechanic (owner) walks around just shrugging his shoulders like, 'it is what it is. You chose me to work on your vehicle.' The receptionist also wears a gun on her hip. After displaying her attitude, I'm thinking she needs it to protect herself from customers who won't tolerate her lack of professionalism and customer service skills. Mechanic (owner) is just there to do a partial job for each visit, trapping you by saying, 'if it's the part under warranty, we will cover it.' Of course it won't be under warranty because you will need additional parts that he didn't do the first time due to his incomplete diagnostic that you paid (yes, 'paid') for. You will pay for another 'diagnostic'. Avoid this place unless you like throwing lots money down the toilet for the same issue over and over again. read more
