Contacted Bill for an estimate on a barring I need replaced. He was an honest man. Finding honest people in the car repair business is hard to find and alway is a little stressful when picking a shop to take your vehicles to. I took my wife's car to this place and after charging me 2300.00 dollars the car had more problems than when I took it there. I had what I thought was an oil leak turned out it was the power steering pump leaking. Then things went higher and higher. They said the top engine mount was shot, then it needed a turn up. I must admit I did approve the repairs, but the car started to surge and the engine light came on, and the car would stop running when I turned on the AC. I called Bill and instead of having me come in he said I can get you in on two weeks. I had to tow her car to another shop to get it fixed. So another $610.00 and now it's fixed. Excellent auto repair facility; Bill's is a family owned / operated repairer. Bill handles all appointments / questions / estimates / payments etc personally and was a straight forward guy regarding what was needed and gave very fair pricing regarding the repairs. He ordered the parts needed prior to me paying any money and rescheduled a second date for me to bring the car back in for repairs. Bill called personally on the drop off day advising the vehicle was completed.. process was painless and fast. No false promises given.. just solid work performed within the time frame given at the price I was told.. no extra hard sells etc here.. I called other major chain auto repair facilities whom all had upcharges, tried power selling more crap, and tried telling me why their warranties etc are worth it blah blah.. Bills is legit - has an after hours key drop.. is a straight shooter.. and let's his dog chill in his office.. this has to make him a solid dude, right? I previously posted a positive review but on further examination of my truck, I am sorry that I have to post this. I own a 1995 Ford F-150 that was my grandfathers truck, I got it when he passed. This truck was cherry and I had a misfire and I took it to Bill. From a prior visit, they knew the regulator on the drivers side was not working and it appears they let the window fall. After getting it back for the misfire repair, I rolled the window down the next day and they chipped my window on this perfect truck and ruined the tint. I know this may not be a big deal to a lot of people, but this truck has so much meaning to me. I took it back in and they denied it and said there was nothing he would do for me because the boys said they didn't do it. They also took screws from my door panel and did not replace so now I have to do that too. Don't lie to your customers. I would have been reasonable but he just gave no fucks. I've always been skeptical taking my vehicles to auto shops and fearing the worst. Bill's was completely opposite of what I've ever experienced. They had my truck diagnosed after a couple of hours. My truck has 330,000 miles so obviously I was expecting a giant list of things needed to be repaired or they couldn't do it but that wasn't the case with Bill! Very rude over the phone. I asked him if he could give me ballpark figures for a truck that I was going to pick up and his response was " No" . I told him of course you have to see it first? He said yes he can't help me over the phone. He said " number one I don't know your name and number 2 I haven't seen the vehicle" .......I actually hung up after that. His tone was way off and there's too many mechanics out there for him to be talking to people like that over the phone I understand that you need to see the vehicle but being a legit mechanic if I give you a list of things that need to be done you should be able to at least give me a ball park estimate over the phone.$300 ,$500......I don't care I already said I'm not looking for anything exact but when you do the same procedures over and over again being a professional you should have an idea by now of how long it will take or at least don't be rude about it if you don't! read more

I think Bill is a very honest man and here is my story. One day I kept loosing my coolant, I kept refilling it then stopped in to see Bill. As it ended up it was a lot worse than I expected. Bill quoted me just off the wall around a $1000. So when I went to pick up my truck he said, he had some good news it was only $600. Who does that??? Bill did that!! Then I had my truck serviced and Tom, Bill's son found that there was a leak in my water pump so they said it should be fixed asap. We scheduled it for Monday morning. I added to that service for them to service my front and rear differential and change the tranny fluid and put in a window washer pump. So that was all done then I picked up my truck and drove away. Everything was fine for a couple of days. Then the transmission was jerking hard. I brought it back and Selenoid A was stuck and they cleaned it up and did three trial runs and all was good. No charge. Then a few days later same thing but now it was when I would put it in park and as soon as it passed reverse it made a couple of loud noises, and thank God I was only maybe 30 feet from my driveway and my engine light came on. Went back home, called a tow truck and back I went. I had purchased a small plastic box that plugs into where shops plug into the vehicles to read the computers. (FIXD is a small computer to plug into a vehicle when our engine lights come on and it tells us on our phones what the issue is.) Bill gave me the same answer as the Fixd device did. He said he could pull that selenoid out again and clean it but we both agreed it was just putting a band-aid on a gash so to speak. So he ordered a new part and now my truck will run like new again. Bill said they will put this new part in for no charge for the labor. My truck is a GMC 2005 2500 Diesel with an Alison transmission. It has 117,000 miles on and I have owned it since it was brand new. Bill's Auto Garage is the best shop around as far as I am concerned. Thank you Bill and Tom, I appreciate everything you do for me. Great experience. My 2011 Nissan Juke busted a drive chain and they didn't b.s. me. Told me straight up that it was going to be expensive to fix. Then Bill, found an open service ticket from Nissan about my car and called around to see if it'd be covered. Long story short Nissan replaced my engine and turbo at no cost to me. just returned from bills.... extremely bad experience !! my 68 vette needed 2 power windows repaired . 3 times there back and forth total of 12 days ....finishing today with installing of the switches . 2 and a half weeks ago i came home with the vette ... cleaned it the when i tryed to open the hood .... to my suprise the hood latch was broke ! before today the bill was $987 . then another $67 for the switches . this is when i told him about the hood latch !. he hit the ceiling telling me never to come back .... so i said dont worry ... never will along with my friends . i told him try to open the hood on a 68 vette without a hoodlatch. took an hr. i said just take $34 off the bill ! thats when he told me to leave and never come back ! its gets better .... on the way home i noticed the switches were installed backwards !!!! read more

Wow! The heat is unbearable right now. My AC would work in the morning but once the heat increased throughout the day the AC would turn off. This was more than frustrating! After visiting other shops in town, I just wasn't confident in what I was hearing. I gave Bill a call to see what he thought. Bill took the time to explain the process they use in detail to troubleshoot AC problems. After setting an appointment and taking my vehicle in, he and his team diagnosed the problem and repaired it within the estimate they provided. never put a wrench to my vehicle had it for 2 weeks excuse after excuse do not take your car there i am warning you. my wife has retired from bbb and has complaint after complaint from bills auto dont waste your time or money with them they never looked at it for two weeks didn't offer any alternative recourse to solve the problem any good reviews i'm sure is coming from them or family members trust me. now i only have 5 days to find a reputable mechanic to fix my car so i can pass emissions . wow i never heard of anyone doing business like that. when my wife called them they hungup on her then they had to deal with me ...in person good ...luck if you deal with them ....don't bother. read more
