We wound up delaying the project for 2 months, when we asked if they were still interested in the job the cost jumped 30%!! My home was built in 1932 and I was required to remove the old knob and tube wiring to add insulation. I reached out to several companies in the area but the expertise and quality of service of Juan and his team was solid. Here is why: PRECISION. Other contractors came to my home and gave me unreasonable quotes just based on a rough count of switches and outlets. On the other hand, Juan immediately opened the breaker box, identified how many circuits were using the old system -- and by turning them off -- he was able to quickly identify the exact number of outlets and switches needed to be replaced. tried to hire him 2 times. First time, he showed up, took a look and said he will come back with a quote. He never followed up. Second time, he gave me an appointment for 4pm next day. I shortened my trip so that I could be home for the appointment. Then when I called him at 4:15pm, he said something came up and he wont show up. He said he texted me in the morning, but I never received anything and I think he just lied. Then he said he will call be back but he never did. read more

Juan happened to be available on short notice (next day) and was able to diagnose and fix the problem with one of our circuit breakers. Turns out it wasn't a major problem, and the other circuits were fine. He made the adjustments, fixed it, replaced the faulty outlet that causes the problem, checked all the other outlets/switches, and tightened all the connections in our box before finishing up. I also appreciated that he didn't try to up-sell me on new equipment and services that I didn't need or ask for. Sure it doesn't hurt to upgrade, but he knew that's not what I asked for or needed. I contracted Peralta Electric to upgrade my electrical panel from 100 Amps to 200 Amps, to run power to a workshop that I'm building in the backyard, and install a generator hook-up and sub-panel by the main electrical panel.
