I had an electrical problem, breakers in my panel tripping almost daily, that was looked at by two other firms. Their estimates came in at around $7300-$8200 to replace an electrical panel and connect it to a subpanel. I used Flores Electric at my Smog station in 2023, I don't have time to replace the lights. So I was happy with them last time. Basically my other fluorescent light stopped working. Guess who I called back. I called Flores Electric at 7:45am expecting to leave a Voice message, but Elizabeth G. picked up. Told her my problem and said a Tech should arrive by 2pm the same day. Anthony from Flores Electric called me & told me he would arrive on our estimated time. He arrived within the timeframe & looked out the fixture and made sure I got the best quality LED lighting fixture that was 8 ft long. Very rushed install of a new service panel. Instead of installing what was spec'd out they rushed through everything, cutting corners, trying to do everything as quickly and cheaply as possible. Didn't install the GFCI breakers that were listed as part of the job, first saying they would be too expensive (even though that's what was quoted), then saying none could be installed because of a shared neutral (they're not all shared). Installed tandem breakers instead of individual breakers for no reason, other than to be cheap I suppose... It's a new 200A panel with plenty of free spaces. Drilled multiple holes through my exterior wall without checking to see if it was in the correct location first, and then didn't bother to patch the hole in the wrong location. Put a nice gouge in the front of the brand new panel door, so that will probably rust. Made a mess of my yard with stucco residue everywhere, including my own ladder, which they used. Then they apparently ran out of stucco finish coat so half of the patch was white and matched my existing stucco, and half was grey. Didn't bother to try and match the grit of the existing stucco. Roofing where the new overhead goes in is also not professionally patched, with just some roofing cement slapped on there instead of flashing or shingles. read more

First they figured out a clever way to use our existing panel for a 40 amp circuit. Then they ran conduit to the corner of the house and finally installed the charger. See the photos. Flores Electric did a great job in solving a simple breaker replacement. Shout out to Anthony Jackson the technician. He was respectful, efficient, knowledgeable, and trustworthy...and put on booties before coming inside. I enjoyed having him do the service and felt he cared about my problem. When I called last Monday because my office had lost all power, Flores couldn't come out until Friday to do an estimate. I was disappointed and asked to be put on a waiting list. They called me on the next morning early because of a cancellation. He said he could be at my house in 20 minutes. I jumped at the chance. He came out. I pointed out the problem, and showed him the tripped breaker. He didn't have a replacement in the van and went to Home Depot and got it. This company and its people are great to work with. I had an outlet blow out and caused power outage in 3 rooms of my house. I called them in the morning and Rey came out that afternoon. What I also appreciated, was that they kept me up to date on the timing of the appointment and sent me an email with his picture so I knew who was actually coming. To make a long story short, the issue was resolved, but it turned out that my outlets were not grounded. So he quoted having this done, explained how it would happen (from under the house) and most importantly, did not try to up sell me to do the whole house. He recommended to do the rooms that were critical and do the others later. Just that alone would have me recommend this company and these people. Also, he and his guys were very excellent, they know their craft and they cleaned up better than what they walked into (lots of dog hair). I don't see how I'm the issue. I called Flores Electric tfor an electrical issue that took out half my power. There was a plastic smell, and the power surged and half the house went out. I was very concerned so I cut the main. I'm disabled and care for an 80 year old veteran. They were not available on Sunday when this happened, so we had to wait overnight. I had to start the generator as it was going to be 40 that night. Carlos came the next day and did an inspection. He gave me two options: rewire the entire house or trouble shoot with and full inspection. I chose to start with a full house inspection at the cost of 870$ and scheduled an appointment in TWO days. Carlos was very aware of who we were -- he came here. He knew we were on a generator and that was the best he could do. Carlos shows up on Wednesday and I'm excited to have power. It's been like camping in the winter. He turns on the power, calls me over and says: the pipe is sizzling that connects the power to the house and to call PG&E immediately! WHY DIDN'T HE NOTICE THAT ON MONDAY?! I would have to guess greed. He was more interested in SELLING a job than actually DOING a job. The PG&E tech asked me WHO checked it on Monday, and after i told him he said, "Wow! What the heck? I thought you found someone on Craigslist and got scammed." If I'm wrong -- why did he not catch this on the FIRST appointment? It took all of 5 minutes on the SECOND. After we had no power for FOUR days. I called PG&E and they repaired it IMMEDIATELY because it was extremely dangerous. They don't do ANYTHING immediately. I was furious and terrified. You may be risking more than just 2 days on a generator if you use Flores. Carlos is a supervisor and left us in a VERY dangerous situation. read more
