I tried Perch for the first time this morning via Door Dash. The All-American Hash was filling and a good portion size. I appreciate that the support local vendors for their ingredients. The quality was good, but it was a bit too salty for my tastes. I ordered a biscuit as the side so I also ordered the Gravy Boat because I wanted to try the gravy but not pay an extra $10 for one biscuit/gravy serving. The biscuit was toasted on one side which added a nice texture. The gravy didn't have much spice to it so I wouldn't need to order it again. I also got their Cherry Almond Chai specialty drink. The chai has some spice which I love - top notch - but it was almost $8. Perch is worth checking out and supporting local, but likely won't be a repeater for me. read more

The Perch has one of the best outdoor atmospheres in Sioux Falls! Having brunch here is always a fun time whether it's with family, a date, or even having a nice meal by yourself! The bad part about the Perch is that it is kind of small (which I love) but it makes waiting times longer because of the size and the popularity combined. I usually had to wait about 30-45 min during some peak hours but honestly I think it's worth it because of the experience you get. I always get the iced mocha which is delicious but one of my favorite coffees was a seasonal drink which was a pistachio latte (which I recommend to have it on the menu 24/7). I love getting the egg Benedict and I have never had a problem with the food! They use local ingredients and it is always fresh! I love this place! I would rate this place a 4.8. read more

We arrived at about 8:30 on Friday morning, and had no problem getting a table immediately. Very nice building; nice decor. Seems kinda art deco, which is nice. I wish my neighbourhood had a place like this. My wife had their signature breakfast plate, and thought it was excellent, with particular reference to the way the eggs were cooked, and especially the very crispy (as requested) bacon. I was a little skeptical when my biscuits & gravy arrived, due to the brownish-orangey coloration of the gravy, but I needn't have been. That gravy was a bit spicy, made with bratwurst, and really quite good. We also both enjoyed their rich coffee. They give you real cream, which hugely improves the traditional coffee experience. I LOVE IT when a breakfast place serves real cream with their coffee. We'll be back. read more

Brand new restaurant that just opened last weekend. Cute place!! It's a neighborhood house turned into a restaurant with only about 6 tables inside so you have to make a reservation in advanced. Make sure to add your name early. We did wait about 1.5 hours for our table but it was worth the wait. We ordered two iced lattes and a scone as we waited for our table. Very tasty scone. Can't remember what was in it but very fresh! We ordered the Chilaquiles, Greek Steak and eggs, Pastrami hash, and Biscuits & gravy. read more

We arrived after seven on a Sunday and were greeted by a sweet server who took excellent care of us the entire time. Yes, they have GREAT coffee and real cream, a bonus. We went with the chef's recommendation on the Benedict, good choice, and the chorizo burrito with crema. That led us to a table by the door, hard against the display counter, where everyone checked in to the hostess. When we were shown the table , Elva, the manager gave me a wry grin , knowing it was a crappy table When we voiced our displeasure she copped an attitude, and said we would have to wait another half hour, after waiting an hour already. Further discussion broke down and she stated she did not care that we we not happy, nor that we were leaving. This is a strong warning to anyone seeking service...not gonna happen. It was the best looking biscuits and gravy I found on the internet so I decided to try it. Very good choice. This is one fancy brunch spot! I came as a party of 5 (2 adults and 3 kiddos) we had patio seating and it fits us perfectly. It took a bit to order but food came out fast! We tried the Fried Rice Omelette (something abt the omelette that's so dreamy, this one surprised me the most) Perch Benedict (gotta try), Greek Steak + Eggs (great but prbly skip next time since it did not stand out), bratwurst biscuit sandwich (pass! it was dense and salty), also had a side of the sausage links and the kids ate them all so it was great. Had the mimosa and that was a generous serving. Also had the caramel ice latte and that was okay. I was a bit disappointed that the biscuits and gravy were sold out. And online it listed pastrami hash as a choice, but that wasn't listed on the menu when we arrived. I was a bit wary at this point, but I opted for the chorizo hash instead. This was so yummy and satisfying! A little bit of spice and perfect potatoes. I don't really like eggs so I didn't eat mine, and this was a good portion without being too heavy. My husband got the Perch Benedict and really enjoyed his meal as well. Friendly service and a reasonable wait time. We were just visiting for the week, but we would return again. Honestly, this breakfast was probably the most satisfying meal of our entire stay. Oh, almost forgot-their little salt and pepper shakers and creamer bowls are the most adorable things! I contemplated pocketing them for a half a second because they were just so darn cute. DH, a friend and I went for brunch on a Tuesday. We were seated immediately and someone was over to take our order right away. We were seated outside in a comfortable patio area. The day was nice so there was no need for heat, but there are heaters along the ceiling and a large fireplace at one end. Still really good food. I had the hash the next time I went and it was good, but I would probably not order it again. The mustard sauce was a little heavy for my taste, and I do love a good hash recipe that has mustard in it. Others may love it, but it wasn't my favorite.
