This isn't just "a little loud" -- it's often over 90 dB, which is nightclub-level volume. When it's that loud you cannot hear the person standing next to you without yelling. Teammates can't communicate, captains can't talk to players, and calling shots becomes ridiculous because no one can hear anything. Pool is a game that requires concentration and communication. When the music is blasting like a nightclub, it completely ruins the environment for the people who are actually there to play league. Unfortunately, the volume has reached a point where it's not just annoying -- it's unhealthy. Prolonged exposure to sound levels over 90 dB can cause hearing damage, and after dealing with it week after week I'm being forced to stop playing here because of the sound levels. It's incredibly frustrating to show up every week knowing you're going to spend the entire night yelling just to talk to your own teammates while also worrying about your hearing. Rack & Tap needs to decide what it wants to be -- a pool hall for league players or a nightclub with pool tables in the way -- because right now it's doing a poor job of being either.

I…read morestopped into Barrel & Bones on a Saturday afternoon for a quick bite and unexpectedly stumbled upon their bingo event. From the moment I sat down, the service was top tier, but the bingo host absolutely stole the show. His warm, welcoming personality and genuine effort to make everyone feel included completely shifted my mood and turned a random lunch stop into such a memorable afternoon. Needless to say, he officially made me a returning customer. Saturdays at Barrel & Bones may have just become my new thing! Now, let's talk about the food because it absolutely lived up to the experience. The wings were perfect in every way. I also tried the three meats: brisket, pastrami, and burnt ends, and honestly, I couldn't pick a favorite. Each was equally delicious. And last, but certainly not least, the bourbon cake was the perfect finishing touch to an already fantastic lunch. Great food is always a reason to return, but when you pair it with an atmosphere and people who genuinely make you feel welcomed, that's what turns a first-time guest into a regular. Barrel & Bones definitely earned a new Saturday customer!

My table had most of the menu: brisket, ribs, Mac & cheese, baked beans, fried okra, tacos, and much more. I like that this place has a kids menu that includes fries and a drink. I also love that they have a group meal that is shareable and includes almost all their meats for one price. The dessert was amazing!! Highly recommend the banana bread pudding. Will definitely be returning soon.

Make no mistake, this place is no-frills dive pool hall with a small bar, late night grill for tacos and quesadillas, very popular jukebox, loud speaker system, and a 10x10 dance floor that gets packed in the late hours. Inside is dark and quirky with plastic tropical plants, mirrors, tvs playing mostly soccer from around the world, and various bench seating arrangements. The bar was limited - so don't expect Tito's, copper goblets or anything but tequila and beer options. The ladies room lacked hand soap. There were no lines and the bathrooms were cleaned regularly. We hope to come back again!
