My review is about the ethics of the Owner of Sheesh Restaurant, Asif bhai. My daughter got married in April 2026 and I arranged for both sides of the families and the guests to get together for a lunch at sheesh restaurant. I personally visited the place, met with the owner explained that this was a lunch for bride and grooms side 70 people, and he showed me the main space with sofas and tables which seemed like a good space for a family lunch. The owner assured me that the entire space will be for our party and there will not be any other party in the restaurant. I even took pics of the space and sent it to the grooms side of the family. The owner took the entire amount of money from me for this event. I go there on the day of the lunch with my guests arriving and I am shocked to find out that the owner has double booked the space. The main space with the sofas and tables promised to me was given to another party and me and my guests, 70 peoople, were crammed in a small alley which was the adjoining space . There was hardly any space to walk or mingle with my guests and the ambiance of this space was not good at all compared to what we had been promised. The owner lied to me about the space he was going to give us and also lied that we would be the only party there. He may have had another party contact him after he took my reservation and money and decided to double book the space and crammed my guests in the alley space. I was shocked that this is how the owner treats his customers, lies to get the business and then does whatever he wants to do after he gets his money. read more

My friends and I came here this past weekend for hookah and food. We were excited to try a new place that is classy and upbeat. Hostess and servers were both very friendly and accommodating. We wanted to be closer to the wall, and they were kind enough to move our table. The interior definitely feels like a lounge however, the side that's in front of the kitchen isn't as chic. I think they should definitely work on improving the feel of that area. We ordered some mocktails, pani puri, kebab rolls, as well as loaded fries. The drinks were delicious, I really liked my friend's strawberry drink. It tasted fresh and appropriately sweet and not too overpowering. I ordered the jamun drink which I was very excited about as I have never seen something like that on a menu anywhere else. The drink was tart and sweet and I could tell that they had real jamun in there. The pani puri was really good. I liked the way it was presented in tiny shots. The spicy chickpeas on the side made for a great filling and the puri was not too thin where it would crack and leak the water all over. They are definitely doing this dish right. The gola kabab rolls were our favorite. The beef was delicious and spicy and raita and chutney it came with was also phenomenal. However, I would've loved to see more filling, an addition of fresh onions or herbs inside and a slightly thinner paratha. The loaded fries were delicious, I especially loved the onions on top. However, I feel there wasn't enough chicken topping. We got small specks of chicken on our fork. The hookah here has some room for improvement. First of all, I think they're filling their bowls, too high with water, because you really have to suck hard to get any smoke. Our waiter suggested white peach with Paan. The flavor was amazing but the hookah became harsh after a while. Definitely needs some attention to this part of the experience. Music was amazing though and we had a great time. They charged us as a large party and automatically included gratuity in our bill, even though it was just the three of us. Our servers did not mention that gratuity was included while I was checking out. I think as a courtesy to your patrons staff needs to be trained to be transparent. Low key music, nice chairs and tv's without suffocating in smoke but everything was priced so high. Hookah is fine and the service is fast. I've visited this establishment a few times, and each experience has been better than the last. Parking has never been an issue. I've come on a Saturday night, Wednesday afternoon, and Friday evening. The music is not overwhelming or too loud in my opinion. You can still have a conversation which is exactly what you want. sheesh is appropriately named because they have some policies that make you go exactly that :s Sorry bad joke but for real. We had a group of people and only two smoked, so we ordered one hookah. A couple of other people wanted to try and the staff very apologetically advised us that it cost extra if the other people wanted to try. We had ordered a ton of food at this point mind you so it was a little off-putting. They were very apologetic about it and I get the policy if someone is just hogging space without spending money. The staff is nice although a bit disorganized. One of our food orders got screwed up (chicken instead of beef) and they seemed scared to take it back to the kitchen, again very apologetically ... another one of those "sheesh" things. We opted t just keep it. Anyway that said, food, the reason I went. The food is a mixed bag. The menu here is pricey, portions are generous. Some items rocked the house like the pani puri and sugarcane juice while others like the bun-kabob and chicken shashlik were meh. The ambiance is nice and seating is aplenty. Easy parking, good location, if they up their food game a bit this place would be solid however it seems they get plenty of business as is so I'm sure it will remain as is. More power to them :) I ain't going back but my better half did go back a week later. She stuck and her buds stuck to the good stuff we had liked and it was just fine. read more

The food was surprisingly good! The butter chicken tacos and butter chicken pasta had an authentic Indian taste in comparison to Velvet and others. We also tried the chicken kabobs, loaded fries, and paneer pasta. We were a little sad the location did not serve drinks but it was short lived. The mocktails were super good. Ordered butter chicken via Uber eats for $17 and didn't even receive a full chicken breast worth of meat. There was literally 5 pieces of diced meat in a sea of lack luster sauce and a small portion of rice. My husband and got bang bang shrimp...6 pieces of small shrimp for $13 no side no nothing, again lacking plenty of flavor. Sadly this is our first and last time eating here. SHEESH that was the worst place i've ever eaten! If it was possible to leave 0 stars I absolutely would leave it for this restaurant. We sat down and the menus are on a QR code, which is fine. The server took our order around ten minutes after seating us and she had earbuds in and a headset, so when we took our order she could hardly hear what we were saying. I came in with a party of 6 and we noticed there was an automatic gratuity for 3 and up. I completely understand for 6 and up, but THREE and up was weird to me. Four of my friends order juices and they were $7 and up. The pomegranate juice was around $12 and in a pretty small glass.... Crazy. I ordered the masala fries which came out first and they were okay, just normal fries. My friends ordered butter chicken and the butter chicken tacos and they tasted very bland. I've had delicious butter chicken around the Dallas area and these ones tasted like nothing. My other friend ordered chicken biryani and it he received lamb. My sister order a chicken kebab plate and the pita bread was extremely stale, and my other friend ordered the chicken lollipops and she said they were good. A few minutes later, my friends had finished their meals, but my beef kabab had not come out yet. I had asked one of our servers and she said that the kitchen forgot about it and will take around 15 mins. I had it at that point. For around 20 minutes, servers kept on going up to us asking if everything is okay while I was still waiting on my food and we kept mentioning it. We asked the server who took our order and she said we already got it while pointing an empty plate. After another 3 times of servers asking us if everything thing is okay, I just told them to pack up my food because I wasn't even hungry anymore. I finally got the beef kabab, tried it and was mushy. Some other notes: - There was no water on tap so they only had water bottle which are $2.50 - Food was incredibly expensive for the potions. My group left hungry. - Servers kept checking on us after knowing that my food was not out... like how many times do I have to tell you my foods not here? - The server came back after ordering and said that 3 of the orders were unavailable so we had to reorder. This place was just ridiculous from the prices to the service to the food. You should definitely do here if you want an awful dinner and a terrible night!! read more

This is a great place for hookah, not so great for food. Hookah flavors were good, the hookah itself is smooth. I liked that they have the iced and milk options. Ambiance is casual, and quite (no blaring music). Good for groups as well which is a plus. We went hungry and were disappointed with the food. What we did like were the pani puri shots and beef parata roll. The pani puri shot could have used a little more spice in my opinion but still good flavor. The papri chat was on the sweeter side and could have also used more of the savory chutney's and some spice. The bang bang shrimp had good flavor but it's drenched in the sauce so the batter became soggy and unappealing. The rasmalai cake and gulab jamun cheesecake were decent. The Nutella parata tasted like it had Hershey's syrup instead of Nutella. We also ordered the Lychee, Jamun, and Mango mocktails but they tasted more like flavored sparkling water than a mojito mocktail. I will say, that we appreciated the customer service. Someone came out to talk to us after and asked for feedback on the things we didn't like and gave us a Nutella parata on the house. A nice spot for hookah and food at reasonable average prices. The mocktails (non alcolic drinks) are good and tasty. I recommend the mint lemonade and cardamom chai coffee. They charge for bottled water at $2.99 as they don't offer free water. Easy to locate from street and free parking available. Nice large TV screens to watch sports on.
