A very rainy, Friday lunch out with some friends. We were looking for burgers and came across this new little gem! Service was quick and friendly. Didn't catch her name but she did really well. Lots of TVs so we. Ow have a new option for March Madness. We each got a different burger. Hangover, classic cheeseburger and one more. All good. Bobbie's Social House is a sports bar located on Frankford Rd, right next to the 7-Eleven by the toll and across from Denny's. I dropped by on a Friday around 5:30 PM, and there were about eight people inside. There's plenty of seating, pool tables, and a stage for karaoke. My friend ordered chips and salsa along with the catfish/swai and fries, which I tasted and found to be decent. My main reason for visiting was to check out this new spot everyone had been talking about. I ordered a $6 house wine, though the pour could have been more generous--they were clearly measuring every drop. I'd like to come back on a late Saturday night to see if it gets more lively. read more

Great atmosphere. Some live music. Everyone is real friendly. Service is great. Easy entrance. Plenty of parking. I heard a lot of laughter and socializing and joking around. Wow, what a sports bar! Am not easily impressed, but the quality workmanship evident in the interior space puts most high-end resturants to shame. The owners obviously put a lot of thought (and money) into creating this new club. First visit, so cannot attest to food offerings, but found two items on the appetizer menu unique--frito chili pie and potstickers--both of which I love. Among the memorabilia on the walls (see photos) are a set of plaques commemorating top-winning NFL teams--Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Dallas Cowboys--with original tickets and gold medalions. A nice touch by the owners who must be real football fans. All-in-all this club is an especially nice addition to the neighborhood. read more

This is where the Fudrucker's was prior to closing. I think the atmosphere was nice, but also thought it was pretty expensive, especially for getting a drink and snack during the happy hour time frame (5:00pm ish). We shared one order of nachos, a small side onion rings, one house margarita and one old fashion. It was $58. Maybe I'm just out of touch, and this is the new norm for a sports bar. The atmosphere is laid-back but lively, drinks are reasonably priced, and the staff is friendly, tons of billiards and tons of karaoke. Their foosball nights on Tuesdays and Saturdays. I've been coming to Bobbies ever since moving to the suburbs and it's my favorite Thursday tradition. I decided to host my 30th birthday there since I got to know the staff and the place felt like a second home. They truly went over and beyond to make me feel incredibly special on my day. The booking process was easy and I told them how much people I was having, and I felt like everything was done for me. I came in to check on the place and they already had multiple tables reserved in my name decor laid out, and completely transformed the place for my birthday. Without me even asking, how incredible is that??? The team at Bobbies is top-notch and the service is incredible. Not only is the drinks and cocktails one of my favorites but their food is incredible too. Came in for NFL Sunday and had on my team's game with sound (huge plus for me already). Game day specials on food and drinks. Got the Garlic Cheese Bread, Supreme Pizza, and a couple Miller Lites on draft (maybe the best beers we've had on draft ever). Will be coming back soon read more

This was our second visit, first visit was disappointing and decided to give it another try. We really wanted to love this place since it's close to home. Service was ok, the bartender was nice but spent lots of time talking to regulars and we waited for drinks more than once and they weren't busy. We ordered Frito pies expecting to have chili with a Frito garnish and it was completely opposite. A bowl full of Fritos with cheese and a spoonful of chili. Don't think we'll give it a third try. read more

Well we walked in on a Saturday around 1:50pm. The sign said seat yourself so we find a low top table. There was not a crowd at all, barely anyone there at all. I kid you not we waited until 1:59 and no one even looked our way. We didn't get a hello, just a moment, NOTHING! So we went to the restroom and left. I can say the restroom was clean but I will never go there again. I truly hope our lack of anything at this location wasn't because of our race, but hearing other reviews as I wrote this one seems like that may have been THE issue. Pleasant atmosphere, though definitely a sports bar vibe. The early crowd is mainly older, but then so am I so it works okay. The bartender, Jackie, was very friendly and sociable. They've only been open a few days so there are bound to be a few bugs in the system. And one of them is that they currently have Azul tequila for $6.25 a shot, which I'm sure will be fixed in a few days. But for now...it's the best deal in town. read more

Plano/dallas-ites. Please check this place out. They have 4 pool tables, the place is clean and has an amazing atmosphere and ambiance. The owners are incredible human beings, the bartenders are amazing. The food is NOT your typical bar food, it's actually really good quality food. Their Greek salad is phenomenal, and their wings are amazing. No offense to other bars in the area, but this one sets itself apart from the others. Give it a try and see for yourself. We were happy to find a new place to watch sports events..saw this online..I will give 5+ stars to cleanliness & TVs. We asked our server to change one of the TVs to the LAL-SA game..our waiter suggested I change my table seating-wow....there are pool tables in the tv area - a young girl & boy were leaning against the wall & staring at one of the TVs, where there were inappropriate adult situations appearing ... I went to the manager & he thought he'd put caddy shack on & was surprised it was a problem but he did change the screen - THANK YOU! I mentioned that our server said our TV could not be changed to the BB game - the manger said who told you that? ...at any rate..now to the good side of things ...the onion rings straight out of a frozen bag - tiny & perfectly round...sweet potato fries were good...burger ok...frito chili pie was 3/4 frito & maybe 1/8 cup chili...drinks were fine - nothing outstanding. Bartender kicked me out for not being 21 when it was 7:30. even though their entire motto was no people under 21 AFTER 9. not to mention was super rude when i mentioned i was literally there 2 nights before. He had no response for me and just told me to get out. We weren't rude to him at all and he just kicked us out when he saw us. Pool is fun but id like to be able to play next time. read more

Third time here... let me just offer up some things to consider..First off..it's HOT in there, more volume of people means turn the air down! Second, service is slooooow...10 min to order, 10 more to receive drink, then never got looked after..no one came by to ask how things were going, needed more drinks etc. Third, some of the women bartenders seem to be "off" as in on something...spacey...just out there?? Umm hello, couldn't even make eye contact when I was trying to ask questions...disappeared, walked around lost and confused. Lastly, as I was coming out of the beautiful bathroom, I saw a gentleman in the expo area literally licking his fingers after making a dish...didn't have gloves on either..ughh. The prices are good, food is good, atmosphere is good..would like to come back and see these issues fixed, this seems like a great up and coming establishment, great for the neighborhood. read more
