Brow waxing - this place is great because it's inexpensive HOWEVER you need to instruct them on how you would like it done. I like my brows thick, but not short at the ends. 7/10 times it is perfect. and 3 out of 10 times, i get my brows short and too thin sometimes, which sucks but sometimes the hairs on the ends of my brows will not grow back! I don't have a favorite person who does my brows, personally, they are all do the job the same. i think the older lady's though, think they want your brows to be thin. Brazillian - the first time I ever had my Brazilian done (at another place) I had the best waxing lady ever. she made it SO easy and made every tug manageable, so I have very high standards of how it should be. Now, the lady that does body waxing here does NOT give you relief! People who are trained professionally are supposed to place their hand on the place that they take off hair at, so that the tug comes with less pain. This does not happen here. This is SO important to me because it makes the pain of Brazilians worth it. But tbh I have had one too many hurtful brazillians here and I think it's time to find the next place. Prices for the Brazillians change a lot here, so I couldn't tell you how much it is...sometimes it's 40, sometimes it's 30. One time I was here, she didn't remove all of the hair so she said I should get a discount next time, she didn't give me a coupon or any voucher that I can redeem, she just said it verbally... well... how are they gunna know for the next time? I have been coming here for over 11 years this is my favorite place. I get my lip waxed, eyebrow threading and tint every month or month and a half. In my opinions some of the esthetician's work differently, some extremely gentle, others are quick which might tend to hurt a bit more, regardless they get the job done. The only bad/not okay experience I've ever had was when one women made my eyebrows just a tad to thin, I should've known never switch your eyebrow lady. Nevertheless my usual esthetician, cleaned them up and helped me grow them up also exposing to me the benefits of castor oil and in over a month they were fine. This is a family business and I wouldn't go anywhere else then here. Thank you ladies - ps alot of their customers are rude and expect 5 star world class treatment, this is a hospitable and great location with great staff for something on kings highway! She (Mona) threaded my eyebrows right off my face!! I was looking for a quick clean up and shaping, and now I look like a 14 year old who went crazy with the tweezers. :( :( I'm getting married this month, so am hoping they grow back before then! :'( I've had threading loads and never have I come out with next to no eyebrows afterwards. Not only are they now thin, but the actual hairs are the same length, so it looks like an eyebrow combover! So so bummed. Would not recommend this place. at all. Ever. Worst threading experience. I've gotten my upper lips threaded for 10 years. This is the first time I've ever asked someone to be more gentle. I had to move my face away eventually because she was being so rough. Threading the upper lip doesn't take much skill. It was a waste of $6. Prior to starting, her face was completely wet and she wiped it off and didn't even sanitize her hands. The hand sanitizer bottle and contents doesn't look very clean. Never coming back. read more

WORST SERVICE EVER! DO NOT GO HERE. I went to this place today, Monday June 20th, 2022 at 7 PM to get my eyebrows threaded and tinted. When I came in, there were two people ahead of me. There was only one lady who was working and closing the salon, I was her last customer. She took me in and was talking on the phone to someone in her language the whole time while providing me service. I told her I wanted my eyebrows tinted BLACK. She put dye on them and told me to wait 10 minutes. After 5 minutes she was rushing me to get the dye off and leave. When she took the dye off, my eyebrows were very light. When I asked her why, she told me she used BROWN dye. I told her I wanted black dye and she said it was already 7:30 and she's closing so I need to come back tomorrow. Mind you, she made me pay before she finished the job, and I TIPPED her. I told her that I refuse to come back and pay again for her mistake and that she needs to fix it before I leave. She started cursing at me and kicking me out of the salon but I refused to leave. I was speaking calmly to her explaining that it wasn't my fault and she needs to stop treating her customer so poorly. She started throwing her bag and told me that she doesn't want to have a customer like me. I told her I already paid her and she said "its not like you paid me 100$ for this", to which I responded "this service does not cost $100". She ended up putting the black dye on me, and told me to leave and wash it off at home!!!!! I told her that I cannot walk outside like this, so after another 5 minutes she took the dye off very poorly, and made me walk home with much worse eyebrows than I had when I walked into the salon. I was very embarrassed. This person should get fired for treating someone so poorly. I was nice and calm with her and she kept cursing and throwing things and insulting me. I hope nobody else goes here and has to deal with such disrespectful service. read more

I have never been one to start an argument, say something negative about a buisness or give a bad review but.due to a horrific experience at this location after being a loyal customer for over five years I feel the moral obligation to do so. On August 22nd I went to do my lashes there (ones they say last 2 weeks) . I paid $35 plus a tip. Went back 5 days later because a few fell out. I paid 10$ to fill it and gave a tip Again a bunch fell out next day so went back a again the next day. The lady there just started pulling out my real lashes i kept crying telling her she was hurting me and requesting that she soak my lashes in product before just plucking it all out with tweezers. She ignored and continued pulling at my natural lashes. My friend had to intervene and the employee then blamed it on me and kept "trying" to fix it by the time she removed the botched lashes I saw majority of my real lashes had been manually pulled out and it could have been prevented. They put on a new set and by that evening half of them came loose and were peeling off and sticking upward. I had visited the place 3 times in one week for a botched service that I kept paying them to fix up . I went the next morning. To confront them of course I was faced with blame and told how its my fault. They refused to fix anything or give me a store credit. In their salon it seems that the customer is always at fault, publicly humiliated and emotionally abused . I am in complete disbelief at the complete lack of personal responsibility and accountability this place has and the type of abuse they hurl at a customer who suffered from their services read more
