I've never bought a new battery that wasn't charged up. I jumped the battery Drove about 20 miles came home and the next morning I went to start bike and there was no charge in the battery. I thought I must've done something wrong on the install? Then then I checked the voltage comming out of the battery and it was 12.5 V I turn the key the voltage went down to 4 1/2 V (the battery was dead!). They sold me a used battery that was some ones core exchange for a new one. I went to BP+ and they said that they couldn't warrant me a new one until they try to charge this old one for 1 hour. Are you kidding me! How do you run a business like that? I argued for about a for an 45min and got my money back. Wow!!

Dave gave me date to remove and install all 6 batteries. Our boat is in Palm Beach. I could not be there on the scheduled date and Dave assured me I would not need to be there. Yesterday (6 months after the install) I was having an issue with a main battery overcharging. I called and discussed what was going on with Dave. Although we seem to agree it was a charger problem, not battery issue, Dave said he could have his crew there this morning to test and check the batteries. By 9:30 AM (New Years Eve) they were on the boat in Palm Beach with test equippment and 2 8D new batteries if needed. Fortunately, the batteries were fine and it seems to be a charger issue.
