ONE STAR ONLY BECAUSE PEDICURE WAS GREAT. FullSet 0/5 stars if I could!! The nail tech was nice and tried to fix it but the main issue why I'm writing this review was that she already RUSHED it. She tried to fit me in which I appreciated but her appointment literally came in 10 minutes after I sat down. SHe literally rushed the entire process. I requested coffin but narrow, I don't know what atrocity these are. I kept trying to tell her how to fix it but it only made it worse. She tried to be nice about it but I know she held back on trying to say anything to me because she is a nail tech. I am also a nail technician and literally took my only day off to do something nice for myself, which I didn't tell her. She didn't even offer a discount or anything when I was clearly unhappy. Regardless of the fact I kept asking her to fix it and she kept arguing on me on how to fix it just aggravated me from letting her fixed it further. Great attentive service here. Dropped in an hour before they closed (so sorry!) and they were able to let me get a gel mani and pedi for a pretty good price overall... plus an eyebrow cleanup. I get nervous with eyebrows but they literally only did that, clean up strays, which was great. Because my brows have decent shape on their own. Mani was done carefully but didn't take forever and my pedi was getting done at the same time. The woman helped me pick my color, which was great because I'm indecisive sometimes. I love it! I opted for a sugar pedi with callus removal (I needed it) and she did such a great job. They used grapefruit in there too, which was cool, refreshing and smelled great! I'm so very disappointed with this "nail" salon. I called, I set an appointment t in advance, came on time. She did my friend's nails first & then mine because we were getting them done for her baby shower. You can see all the parts she didn't paint so the matte is peeling off. One of my nails ALREADY broke and It hasn't even been a week. I went back the next day (Saturday 2/29) to have them fixed, she said i'd be right after a pedicure she was doing. I sat there and waited a good 20 minutes. And then she sat the woman down to do her acrylics. I felt like a joke, they have terrible customer service unless you're a regular there. 0/10 recommend. It's so sad because i've seen good reviews on Nancy. If you're not a regular or someone who's looking to change nail places DO NOT GO HERE! Edit (3/4) ANOTHER nail snapped off like it was nothing. I cannot believe I didn't know about this gem! It is tucked away in a strip mall off of bell road and I am so happy I happened upon it. I had gone to my normal spot, but they were a little short handed and a little short with me, so needless to say, I doubt I'll be going back anytime soon (after years and years) So my boyfriend's mini and I walked in and were immediately greeted with a warm smile and huge hello! We both wanted pedicures and they did not disappoint. The mini is only 8 and she had never had a real pedicure before so this was a huge treat for her. After reading the reviews, I decided to drop-in. They DID NOT disappoint. The manager was so sweet, kind, and accommodating. Victor was my tech and he worked quickly and efficiently, all while still taking his time somehow. I had just removed acrylics from my nails and wanted to get a gel manicure to give my nail beds a break. Victor cut down my nails to even them out, cleaned up my cuticles, and made sure my polish was perfect. I will be back in two weeks for new color. So I am writing this review for my grandmother who just recently went to go get a pedicure at this salon. She asked for the calluse remover with her pedicure. The lady started with a blue liquid on her feet before using the cheese grater- like spa tool on her that stung and made her skin extremely itchy. Shortly after my grandma started to experience pain and the women used the tool too hard to the point of bleeding. With a quick apology the women started on the other foot and again got to the point of bleeding. So both of her heels are painfully bleeding as she walks out paying for the service and tip with just an apology. So whatever this place doesn't care about reputation or quality service. But after two days of trying not to walk too much because of the pain. The cuts begin to look infected. I told her to see a doctor and he confirmed it was and was a STAPH (MRSA) infection. He prescribed her some medicine...it cost her $150 since it was not covered. She went to show the salon the cost of the infection she received while getting a pedicure and still only received an apology. Not only is MRSA a serious and deadly infection but it's extremely painful. It was on her feet...she can barely walk. I'm extremely annoyed after not only at the fact she paid and tipped for the painful service in full but she also paid for a unnecessary medication. Lack of sanitation, ethical values, and customer satisfaction is beyond the lowest standards for a nail salon I've ever seen. read more
