I go regularly for manis and pedis,usually with Katie. She's very good, pleasant and on time. If not I get a phone call to let me know. Recently there was a situation where my shoes were damaged during pedi. Katie and mgr Michaela immediately went above and beyond to replace the shoes. Disappointed. I used to be a regular I actually used to live right around the corner. I now live 30 minutes away and still take the time to drive here because I love this place so much. I had 2 services done tonight and spent well over $100 and I am extremely disappointed with the pedicure. I paid $56 for it and left with my heels dry and felt rushed. That didn't even feel like a pedicure it basically felt like she put lotion on my legs and cut the dead skin off of my toes. It was pretty much a polish change for the price of a pedicure. I told her the color I wanted and she tried talking me out of it so I said fine and went with what she suggested. That color she suggested was way too light it looked like clear so I told her I want to stick with the original color that I had asked for. I honestly don't even think this is the color that I asked for because I used to get it all the time and it never looked like this. Very thick coats and the polish doesn't go all the way down to my cuticle as if it's already been starting to grow out. It doesn't even look like any topcoat was put on, they are not shiny whatsoever. There are noticeable streaks from it being too thick. I never write bad reviews but I am very disappointed as I am going out of town this weekend to celebrate my birthday and wanted to treat myself to get my nails done at my favorite nail place. Unable to cut my nails due to back surgery. Went to this place for first and last time. I hate being cut and she cut me twice on my toes. Water way too hot to put my feet in tub same for bowl for my fingers. Massage was horrible and usually wipe it off with hot towel. Not here. I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. I was super excited to come in and get my nails done for my birthday for the first time in a year decided to treat myself, and unfortunately left here beyond disappointed and dissatisfied. The older male nail tech named Son first of all was so rude and impatient with me during my manicure, and did a terrible job on multiple things like the shaping , the polishing, just everything was not what I asked for wanted or even similar to the picture I showed him in the beginning. He spent more than 20 minutes trying to fix them in multiple different places and he rudely asked me if I liked them and I still wasn't happy at the end but felt like there was no fixing these anymore, and I felt uncomfortable asking him to fix them any further because of his attitude. He also cut me in a couple spots because he was rushing. When I went to pay I mentioned to the cashier at the end that I did not like them at all, and honestly didn't want to pay for them at all because they're just TERRIBLE. And I'll literally now have to spend money at a different salon just to get them fixed because of my experience here I just wanted to pay for my pedicure and LEAVE, so she grabbed the manager then the guy Son runs up in front of me as I'm trying to speak to the manager and starts arguing with me that I should have told him I didn't like them and why didnt I tell him, ( I told him 4 times during my manicure that's why he had to fix them so much) I was literally having an anxiety attack at this point and the managers only suggestion was to have HER fix them and have me sit back down there for another hour and I literally did not have time for that ( it's my bday and I had been there for hours at this point on top of this man harassing me and giving me anxiety) so she said well if you won't let me fix them and won't pay for them I'll have to take them off of you then and remove them!! Absolutely not gonna let any of those workers touch me again, especially with that attitude I've gotten please get real lady. On top of that you think I'd let you ruin my nails by ripping or soaking them off after already having them beaten down for hours, and She refused to take the money for the pedicure solely , so I had to leave. read more

On March 12 I came In for a pedicure which was good and also to get almond shaped hombre nails the hombre was not blended correctly and although the nail tech was nice and the pedicure was good my acrylic nails weren't 90% or 80% good the texture was bad and the top coat started turning yellow on day 3 They offered to fix them I come back on March 15 with an appt after work, they try fixing them but the acrylic certified tech isn't there so I tell them just put pink gel over them for now and I can come back again with the acrylic tech to re do them, by this time I really wanted my money back but they said no refund so I felt pressured and forced to come back I had no other choice, I do not mind paying for good service but I was sad I had to come back again and make time for a 3rd time was hard . I come back again on March 24 after work and jenny did a good job on re doing them thank you . I spent so much time going back and forth that should never happen, I have so much patience but you can understand after going back the third time how frustrating that can be overall time spent there from my first appt was 4 1/2 hrs and rushing out of work to get there early to my appt as we should do to respect people's time. read more

Followed my nail tech Holly T here (formerly of Villagio Nails for those of you looking for her) and happy to report her service is still five stars. This salon is a far more relaxing and enjoyable experience vs where she previously worked. Staff is lovely, salon is updated, clean, and spa like so worth the ever so slightly increased costs (but no credit card fees). Also there is no weird music and no TVs (which I appreciate). Highly recommend this salon overall and if you need a tech - I've been seeing Holly for 4+ years. read more

My daughter and I were visiting Phoenix last week and thought we'd get mother/daughter pedicures. They got us in right away with two older men working on us. The guy working on me cut my toe and was trying to cover it up by brushing a blue liquid on the cut. When I asked him if it was bleeding he told me no, but I could tell that it was cut. Then he proceeded to paint my nails and only then remembered that I had paid for a massage and did it after the paint. My daughter said the man that did her nails was very rough with the massage and rushed with her nails, but she didn't want to say anything and spoil our time together. Today, 3 days after our pedicures both of us have redness around our nails and my toe that was cut is painful and throbbing. I only wish that I had asked about the tool sterilization before we sat down, but I have never had a problem until now. Neither of us have had a pedicure in over a year, and I'm so disappointed that what was supposed to be a fun mother/daughter date ended up being an expensive, rushed experience and what seems like a toe infection for me! Do not go to Laquer nails if seasoned techs and sterilized tools are importantly to you. read more

I have been to the tempe location and it was not the best. I was in the area wanting a pink aura design. The guy was trying to just throw random colors out to get me to shut up and that's when i realized he just didn't want to do it. no effort. i'm not going to push a design that i'll most likely dislike so i said whatever just do a regular pink. he was sassy and got clear polish over my skin . he was about to do the dip over my nails that had not been soaked enough (still having dip powder on my nails from the last time i had done) I had to tell him that my nails were not soaked enough. don't let the upscale interior and complimentary drinks get you . thanks for the service danny. :( heads up to you ladies if you're wanting their "wine" you're drinking boxed wine read more

They are mean here. The girl at the front desk is immediately rude when I walked in and simply asked if they had time for 2 pedicures. The wait wasn't long at all but when we sat down the nail techs were also rude. Telling us we moved too much, too much work, etc. This isn't my first experience with them, I've given them the benefit of the doubt and every time i'm disappointed by the rudeness. Came here on a whim and would not come back. Pricing is confusing, the grapefruit pedicure package said $45 on the menu, but in reality came out to $65. I was also charged $110 for a full acrylic set with a design, which okay I would expect that for quality nails, but I got my nails done Friday the 17 and today Tuesday the 28 my left thumb popped off. It's not even my dominant hand!!! But I saw this coming since my nails started lifting days ago. Typically I get my nails done every 2 weeks, (sometimes even 3 week stretches) so for them to not even get to the 14 day mark is disappointing at this price point. My boyfriend had a mani-pedi for $110 total which again I don't understand the price breakdown for that if he received the same pedicure package as me, but also received a pathetic heart design on his ring finger (but I appreciated the nail artist's 20 min effort so I didn't count it against them but now that I'm giving my honest review I feel like it's important to mention).
