We called, they booked us all for 11:15. We showed up a few minutes late but no problem sitting right down in a chair - all 4 girls! Two of us got gel, 2 regular paint. Every tech was great. She is the one who put the feathers in my hair in my profile picture. She always listens likes to stay current on hair trends and always willing to try new ideas with you. And will tell you if she doesn't think it will work as well as you have pictured in your head. That does happen to me often. If the world was like how it is in my head I would have really cool hair all the time. Plus Erin is super sweet and easy to talk to. The salon is always clean, neat and comfortable to be in. I know they offer a ton of services besides hair that I have never tried and hopefully will get to in the future.

They wanted to fix my…read morenails and they were very adamant about not refunding me, however after standing my ground I *eventually* got my money back. It took talking to multiple people as well. While this transpired, they were talking amongst themselves in their language so I'm not sure if they were talking about me in front of me or what. I still won't go back. I didn't want them to fix my nails because they should've done the service right the first time, there is no excuse for how poorly they turned out.

(shout out to Andrew and Vanessa,…read morethey were amazing) i had an appointment today but they started 15 minutes late. that's fine. my dip manicure was okay for the most part, but someone else had to completely re do the top coat at the end, because it was bumpy and uneven and looked like i painted it myself with a goopy top coat. i was moved around a lot. i would sit in a chair and then someone would say wait come sit over here. it was just kind of odd. my pedicure involved ice cold water, cuticles untouched, and still calluses on my feet but i paid for that service. i was never asked what shape i prefer my toenails so they are pretty square. not a huge fan of that. i tried a few times giving this place a shot with the new owners but i just don't plan on returning again.

I walked in explaining what happened and they looked at me like I was crazy stating they could fix easy in 1 minute. I simply stated I wanted no fix I have a different place fixing their problem, I asked for a full refund and they refused to give it to me as they kept stating that's just an easy fix. I stated don't have to give me a refund but I will be leaving a bad review as I did hear good things about New York nail bar. I will never return to them and I hope they get better employees who care about what they are providing their customers and not be rude.

By far one of the worst nail experiences I have had. The prestige think his name was Jimmy did my…read morenails. He refused to allow the nails to soak off he kept filing them until I was in so much pain. My nails were already compromised due to the set that was on, he acted so put out that he was even doing them kept mumbling under his breath about how long it was taking to get them off. When he put a new set on he did not seal them well so nearly as soon as I left they were already chipping, I was only in town a few days. I did not go back when I got back home a different state had had them removed and completely done over. I would not recommend this nail tech he was equally rude to everyone coming and going. The health department should do a sanitation inspection on this place as well it was very dirty.

I came here with my friend for my first Shellac mani/pedi and my first professional mani/pedi in…read morefour years. We had appointments and my girl advised me that we should arrive early, which was a good call. By the time my nails were being painted, all but one of the pedicure chairs were taken and the small waiting area was full! The staff was fine, they would make some small talk but mainly worked steadily, which I appreciated. The massage chairs were nice and the water in the foot bath was blissfully HOT. This is something I love, but I could see how one could find it uncomfortable if they were not into hot water. The woman working with me gave me a foot and calf massage. My feet are wildly sensitive, so fortunately she used enough pressure on them to not make the foot massage tickle torture. My cuticles were in need of some SERIOUS trimming and the woman working with me did a damn fine job in cleaning them up! She applied the shellac polish to my toes first, then we headed over to the nails station so she could take care of my hands. From start to finish, we were in and out in about an hour, hour and a half. A reasonable amount of time since they did not do a rush job. The shop is a decent size, but is packed full with nail stations. The waiting area is pretty much non-existent and unfortunately a bit cluttered and dusty. This shop does get a lot of business and a Shellac mani is $25, Shellac pedi $35. I may have the two mixed up, but those are the prices. This is your standard nail shop! Efficient and thorough! I am going on a week with my Shellac and I am HOOKED! My pedicure looks untouched and my manicure still looks amazing, NO chipping. I get my natural nails painted and have to keep them very short because of my day to day work, but they look gorgeous! Again, NO CHIPPING! If anything, I only notice a slight outgrowth because my nails grow quickly, but that has nothing to do with the polish! Go for it!
