By far one of the worst nail experiences I have had. The prestige think his name was Jimmy did my nails. He refused to allow the nails to soak off he kept filing them until I was in so much pain. My nails were already compromised due to the set that was on, he acted so put out that he was even doing them kept mumbling under his breath about how long it was taking to get them off. When he put a new set on he did not seal them well so nearly as soon as I left they were already chipping, I was only in town a few days. I did not go back when I got back home a different state had had them removed and completely done over. I would not recommend this nail tech he was equally rude to everyone coming and going. The health department should do a sanitation inspection on this place as well it was very dirty. read more

This is a super low price place so if that is what you're looking for then I'd recommend! Everytime I've been I have been able to walk in a get my nails done pretty much right away. Here are the downsides- with the low prices usually comes low quality. When I got the gel polish done they did not go all the way to the cuticle or even close and it was very patchy as well. When I have gotten the dip polish it was done well! I have had pretty much good experiences there customer service wise but I have witnessed them being very very rude to a customer once. HORRIBLE SERVICE WILL NEVER EVER BE GOING BACK!!! Got a pedicure and the guy doing my pedicure was too busy watching tv the whole time! He did nothing the people i was with got done and after was rushing me to put my shoes on. When i pointed out that one of my nails didnt have nail polish on the side he tried to take that part of my nail off. When i asked him to polish it he constantly acted like my being here was an inconvenience!!! This place is horrible when he was giving a lotion massage he just rubbed the same area over and over ever once rubbing my feet or anything!!! Went to California Nails for a gel color change and the older woman did awesome. For just a color change and to take off my previous color it was only $17, otherwise a gel manicure would have been $27 which is a great price. She took her time to make sure my nails were free of any previous color and shaped them just as I asked. 100% will be going back again. read more

I went with a friend my first time. They didn't paint half my nail, the nail tech was rude and slapping my hand around. I went a second time to give them another chance and they did well but not even a week later the GEL nail polish chiped. I have never had GEL nail polish chip. I had another appointment to get it fixed and a family emergency came up and I completely forgot about it. They called me and cussed me out for forgetting to cancel and was so rude. I will never return here again. Their quality of nail is so bad and their staff do not know what there doing and they are very rude. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

I came in 25 minutes before closing and asked for gel polish and a manicure. A male technician told me to sit and started buffing my nails right away and then applying the polish. He did not do the manicure, did not give me a chance to wash my hands after the nail buffing, and did not even brush the buffing dust off. When I asked about the manicure, he said there was no time to get it done and I should have been there earlier. The salon did not look clean and the technician, who did not introduce himself, was only concerned about finishing before closing time, rather than doing a good job. The reason for 2 stars, rather than 1, is because they do have good gel polish brands. If done correctly, this brand will stay put for several weeks. But mine did not as the polish was applied directly on buffing dust. I will not be coming back. read more

So this is my first review I have given to a place and to be honest I have not gone here in probably three years. But feel strongly about it because of the experience I had here. I used to go to this salon all the time. Was my go to place because it is close to home for me. First time I went I remember that the owner was getting annoyed with a customer because she was not liking the way he was doing her nails. He got loud and rather rude but I stayed because I thought the customer was being rude although I had not seen the whole incident. When I say first time I mean this was the first time ever getting my nails done so was totally new to it. During my first appt. the owner did my nails. He told me that I should not go to any other salon to get my nails done because they were all bad at doing them. Which I found to be not a good way to run a business. I went to them for a year I would say but every time I went while getting my nails done I always wondered why I kept coming. So decided to try a different place. then the next time I went back to them and the stuff he complained about because I had went somewhere else just threw me. Said the other place did a bad job(which they did not) that they run their business badly because other people came to this salon and complained. Just not good business practices in my book. My final straw came when I took my daughter here to get her nails down for the prom. We wanted her nails done white with gold tips. I had at one time got a french manicure and they spray painted the white tips on so I assumed since they had gold paint that they could paint my daughters gold. No problem right? WRONG!!!! I explained to the owner what we wanted and he immediately said NO We CAN NOT DO. I again said you mean you can not spray the color on? he started to get loud and my poor daughter is shy and started to get embarrassed. and he said NO we can not do that. Let me say that they were really busy, but we had made appointments for our nails. so that should not be an issue. I told him I did not understand why he could not do it since they were able to paint my tips white one time. He just got more angry. My daughter had already started to get her nails done and they had applied the nails by now or i would have just told her to come along and we would have left. Hindsight now I think we should just have left. Because when they started to do my nails the owner just would not let it drop. we had already changed the color she was going to get but he started yelling again that it just can not be done like that. Well let me tell you by the time we left there my daughter did get her nails done like that because one of the girls that works in the salon said to my daughter, do not worry I do it for you. I felt so bad for my daughter she was so happy to get her nails done as it was her first time ever and that jerk ruined it for her by embarrassing her. I have NEVER returned to that store again. I wish I can give them half a star. I had a really bad experience here. I will never go here again. First off, I had stiletto nails done and the guy that did my nails said he hates doing my type of nails because they break easily. I never had an issue with stiletto before so I'm not sure what he's talking about. He also mentions that he doesn't do stiletto nails, so then if he doesn't? How would he know? One thing that totally ticked me off to, that he did say and it was a "WTF" moment. Usually when I get my nails done. I always watch them do my nails, I wanna know if it's how I want it and how my nails are being done. He told me to quit looking at him and watch the TV. I don't think I was like staring at his face, I was looking how he was doing my nails. So the whole time there I was trying so hard to not look at him do my nails. So I was on my phone with one hand while he was doing my other hand. Then I would switch it up. So awkward. Plus, he owns this place, don't you think you should already get use to customers always watching you. Unless I'm just ugly. Who knows. Just thought that was kind of annoying. read more

I go bi weekly to get my shellac polish done. I am usually in and out within 30 mins and never need to make an appointment. It is by far the Cheapest shellac in town and they are extremely accommodating and nice. read more

I walked in and everyone looked up at me and asked how I was doing and I said good and I ask them how they were doing, and they asked me what I was looking for for my nail desigh, I asked if they had any pre made glitter tips that you just put the gel and acrylic over, they said no and I looked around the shop and they had a whole bunch of them on the shelf, so clearly they lied, I also asked if they could do the coffin shaped nails and they also replied with no, it's obvious that they did not want a sale and I'm a very good tipper and always a big spender and very friendly. absolutely ridiculous for an Oshkosh nail salon, I suggest everyone try to find something better because you will be very disappointed with this place. how rude smh... read more

Do not waste your money here! I went here with two of my friends a few months ago, and it was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. They were rushing us and yelling at us to pick out a color and I ended up not even getting one. I regretted spending $40 on such a crappy experience. One of my friends didn't even get hers done and the others looked terrible. Nothing was clean and they had a small selection of crusty old nail polishes on a dusty display. My friend & I went in for pedis last week and they were very rude & seemed really annoyed the whole time. I also asked specifically for a simple nail design with crystal accents (5 per big toe) and they refused to put crystals on them?? Said they fall off too easily and just did simple underwhelming polka dots instead. Shouldn't I be able to get what I ask for? Not to mention the crystals were extra charge so they would've made more money!?! The place could use a deep cleaning and product rotation as well. Everything was dusty & a bit unsanitary. If I could give ZERO STARS I would...HORRIBLE SERVICE and RUDEST PEOPLE I HAVE ENCOUNTERED IN A BUSINESS!! Two women & two men and not one of them was the least bit nice, acted as if they didn't understand me when then didn't want to answer a question, one man yelled at me when I went to browse the nail art, saying "What are you doing?" Before my overly thick nail polish was applied the younger woman asked for my payment, which was understandable, however when I brought out my card she said, "You don't have CASH?" A regular customer had to help me through the experience with the awful people working there. Why anyone would go there regularly, I can't imagine. That regular customer told me they prefer cash...WHY? Don't they report their sales, or like to pay the what credit/debit card charges them? They could post a sign they don't accept cards! Who carries cash these days? And the manicure didn't last even an hour after I left (even though I sat at least 15 min. under their ultraviolet light to let it dry). The woman knew the polish was too thick, because she told me to be careful. I saw her putting thinner in the polish, which must have been old. I have no idea how this nail salon stays in business when all the folks working there are incredibly rude and they provide a substandard service. Went to get my nails done for the first time in forever, wanted coffin shape but he kept telling me that square was stronger and continued to cut my nails shorter than i wanted and squared them off. He never once let me get up to wash my hands, and instead of a uv Lamp he had me hold my hand up to a super hot light bulb from a lamp on the desk. When i chose a gel color the palette had been in the sun so long the colors were distorted so when i found a color i liked it was completely wrong when he put it on my nails, he then proceeded to argue with me that the color i picked was right and i couldnt change it. It seemed like he was mad ar ME for the color being off. meanwhile he spent the rest of the session telling me to leave my then boyfriend(now fiance) who was with me ( in front of him and to his face btw)because he wasnt enough of a man after he said he didnt like sports all that much. Completely akward and unprofessional. What was supposed to be 30 dollars ended up being fifty and i dont even know how they wouldnt explain and rushed me out the door. My nails ended up lumpy and uneven. Will Never go back and i dont recommend anyone else does either. read more
