I was visiting a girlfriend in Roanoke this past weekend and we were trying to make the most of a rainy Saturday. We were in a bit of a hurry because we had a movie to catch, but they were still able to give me a mani-pedi in under 40 minutes for only $32. I am insanely ticklish when I get pedicure, to the point that I think I might kick them in the face when they bring out the pumice stone. The woman who did my nails was so patient with me and held my leg still so I wouldn't jerk all around. Constantly asking "are you ok" during the process. She did not give up, and eventually left me with baby's bottom smooth soles. When it came time for the mani, she let me critique the filing job on each nail. I actually think all my nails did in fact look perfect. I've never had a better experience at a nail salon. Will definitely have to go back the next time I'm in town. Teo does an AMAZING job every single time. He is always so kind when he doing my set and is very fast yet does an amazing job on every set he's done for me. I am never in the salon longer than an hour for a removal, full acrylic set and designs! I will always recommend him to my friends! His pricing is very fair for the great quality work he does. Today was the 2nd time that I've walked out of this nail salon and not been happy. I will not return! I had made an appointment over the weekend for my daughter to get her nails done. They put us down for 10:00 am. We got there and the person that was going to do her nails didn't even show up until 10:23. What good is an appointment if the nail tech isn't even there? In addition, I never pay what I'm expecting to pay based on what their nail prices say that are hanging on the wall. It's always way more. read more

This place really has gone down hill. I used to go every few months when I lived in Roanoke. I just did a drop in so I expected to wait for a little bit. They said they would take me soon. After waiting for 10 minutes, I asked how much longer. I was moved to a pedicure chair where I waited 15 minutes before starting. Toe nails look okay. Fingers were poorly done. I had to point out the sides of the nail were not painted and nails are poorly filed. I have a better chance of my nails looking okay if I do them myself. With thinned out nail polish, my nails chipped less than 24 hours after. So disappointing for a holiday weekend. Eyebrows look good. Mani-pedi: $32 Eyebrows: $7 spend a little more and get quality service. read more

I've been going to Perfect Nails for more than 3 years. They do a great job. They offer acrylic and gel in addition to traditional manicures. For pedicures they have 5 massage chairs, and you can also get a deluxe pedicure with an additional scrub, lotion and hot towels on your legs-very relaxing. They also offer eyebrow waxing. The salon is large enough to accomodate bridal parties with an appointment. Tony and Kim are the owners. Among all the staff, I personally prefer Tony to do my acrylics. I think he is very good and it only takes about 30 minutes for a fill. However, I've had other staff do fills and pedicures. They are good too. You can walk in; however, if you have a preferred manicurist, I recommend an appointment as they can get very busy. They are very reasonably priced--I get a fill and a French for $20. They accept charge cards, but take cash for the tip. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because the atmosphere is fine, but not particularly fancy. read more

A week ago I got a manicure with new set of acrylic shellack nails and pedicure . Cost $65 dollars 6 days later nails start to come out and color fading , I went today and the owner ( the only male there ) told me that he will Fix this for free but next time he will charge ....( why I will get charge for something that he did wrong? ) He did a crapy job , very rough edges a uneven size of the nails ..... Pedicure ... I notice that they will Use the same device to separate the toes and this things never got wash or clean after I use them just put in the drawer to be used for the next customer . I've been coming here for a while and got great service most times i come. I came a week ago and just got a full acrylic set. 4 day's after my nails started popping off and feeling loose like i needed to get a fill in. They were very quick when doing my nails and they didn't last at all. It's been a week and 2 days since i got my nails done and now they're all off. Terrible job. Me and my cousin (keep in mind we are black (she wanted a fill in and a pedi I wanted a pedi with mani gel set on natural nails) one woman was finishing a pedi a man was finishing nails and other guy wasn't doing anything. They sat us in the pedi chairs to remove old gel polish, when woman finished pedi on her prior client she came and began to soak gel off my toes half way into her taking my gel off two white people walked in (no appointment) she looked at me and said oh need soak more she stopped drilling the polish off and left me in the chair and immediately went to service the white guy who was with the white woman who was immediately serviced by the other guy who wasn't doing anything mind you they made me sit there with acetone covered toes in aluminum foil while the man who started my cousins feet was done with her pedi in literally 4 mins and charged her full price with NO polish. When I seen the lady start the white mans pedicure I told the guy servicing my cousin to just remove my polish and that's all I want. They knew they discriminated against us because no one questioned to ask what was wrong or why we were leaving. If you want to get overcharged for TERRIBLE service and experience discrimination at its finest Perfect Nails is PERFECT for you. Too bad they missed out on the $20 tips we leave. I'm new to Roanoke and visited Perfect Nail biased on other Yelp reviews and left extremely disappointed. I requested a classic pedicure and was asked no less than ten additional times if I wanted to add another service done. No thank you means no thank you. Once in the chair the lady who was assigned to my service continued to be invasive in my personal life, asking very personal questions; while continuing to ask if I wanted a manicure done another five times. She was also very easily distracted, stopping to look around, talk to her colleagues, day dream. The actual finished result was less than mediocre. She shaped my nails in a variety of different way. The polish didn't reach the edges of my nail bed, and was left off the tips. I also worry about the cleanliness of the business. They may want to invest in a vacuum. They accept credit cards for payment, but there is no place to add a tip. While I was very disappointed in the service I still would have left the lady a tip but had no cash on me. The BEST part of the whole experience was the massage chair. It was amazing. I'll never return. A decent nail salon in Roanoke is still my list of things to find. read more

I wouldn't go to this shop. This shop doesn't treat all there customers the same and if the workers don't like you then they will make you feel different than any other customer. One worker kept messing up my nails, wasn't taking his time and kept using the wrong nail polish. The owner is rude and his workers are rude. I recommend everyone avoid coming here!! read more

I have visited this nail salon several times. One time a girl that started with a J (I know her name just not sure we can share) did my pedicure. It was so bad I had to come home and redo it. Took my daughter there and the same girl did her mani/pedi and it was absolutely terrible. My daughter at the time was 3 and she probably could have done a better job. I was having dipped at the same time and a girl that started with an M cut my finger and then put the clear polish over it before dipping it into the powder. Fast forward 2-3 years I thought I would try again beings it's so close to my house-mistake! I called ahead to make an apt. Once I got there they asked me and my two daughters if we had our mask after the mask mandate had been lifted. I said no. The owner told me that he couldn't serve me without a mask. When I brought to his attention that there were 3 other women there without mask he then told us to go wash our hands. He did not ask the young lady that came in behind us about her mask or to wash her hands. One of the gentleman that was painting my daughters toenails made fun of her 1 small pinkie nail and pointed it out to 3 other workers in which they began to laugh. It made her feel really bad and insecure. He started painting her toenails and ended up having to take the polish off and have another girl come paint them. Was not impressed with this salon. The woman who did my nails was very rude and acted like i was taking up to much of her time. She didnt intersct with me much mainly to point me where to set my feet. She made rude comments about the condition of my feet and made faces like they disgusted her. When doing my pedi and mani she cut me in several places with the file on both my fingers and toes and made the comment it was my fault. The salon was not very clean and felt unsanitary as well. read more
