Not to mention the fact weights are always missing and we have basketball courts making it so loud your noise cancelling headphones still won't block it out. You also can't get through to equipment unless you cross behind the courts so hopefully you can catch a ball. Also pretty sure the AC doesn't work at all. The one good part is the GM there is always kind but their upper management seriously needs to fix these issues or just close the gym at this point. It's embarrassing

It was so uncomfortable. - if you need tennis or other courts: this is your best bet! They have so many tennis and other sport courts. So choose this location if you like tennis, squash etc. not a good fit for those who just wanna workout in group classes or swim in comfort. $90 a month plus $100 or so for initiation fee. 3. I spoke with an employee, clearly told him I wanted to cancel, and was told I was good to go. Now, four months later, Equinox is claiming there is no cancellation request on file and telling me I owe four months of membership fees. Convenient. This also isn't an isolated issue. The BBB has numerous recent complaints involving Equinox and cancellation problems, continued billing, and customers being sent through unnecessary hoops just to cancel. A luxury gym with a premium price should have premium customer service. Instead, this feels like a deliberate game of "you can join easily, but good luck getting out." Document everything if you're a member. I would not recommend Equinox Tysons Corner.

I visited Evolution Fitness many times during my last visit to Vienna, Va and really enjoyed using their facilities. The folks were friendly, the place was clean and wasn't too crowded (of course I didn't visit during the early pre-work rush). The have a full circuit of Cybex equipment but I was really there for the cardio while I was nursing a knee injury. The facilities included eight treadmills, four ellipticals, four recumbent bikes, four upright bikes and two rowing machines (concept 2 model D). If I still lived in the area I would be a member! Since I don't live there I am glad they have a daily rate for when I visit.

I came here using a 7-day pass…read more Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the 7 days is effective as soon as the pass is emailed. Upon signing up for the 7 day pass, I received a text from Amir. Luckily, he was flexible and let me come at the end of March. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Isaac, who was extremely friendly and informative. We went through the entire walk through, and on my 2nd visit, he went over the prices. The only thing I didn't like is that they take down all the information from our Driver's License even if it's just a trial. Since this is considered a boutique gym, the classes are the main focus and driver for memberships. They get crazy busy and packed, but are only held at certain times of the day..and not Friday evenings. The classes include (but with different names): yoga, boxing, cycling and CS4. I was only able take one class--Ride with Lauren--and WOW it was fun and vibrant! I came back another day for leg day to try out the equipment. I was very fascinated by the TechnoGym equipment--beautiful, unique machines and all in pristine condition. There were SO MANY options for upper, lower, cardio, etc. Additionally, there is a separate cross fit area, where they hold classes and it is open to members. There is a recovery section, which includes compression sleeves, cryotherapy and massage chairs, which are convenient but I believe separate from the monthly gym membership. Also, there is a spa, whcih is definitely 3rd party and not included in the monthly membership. There is 2 hour parking available in the garage, which is validated at the front desk.

I signed up for a package deal in late 2015 which had a combination of personal training sessions…read moreand monthly wellness advising sessions. Wellness Advising - 1 STAR - I had multiple changes in wellness advisors, even on a monthly basis (these sessions are only done once a month) due to turnover at the company. There was a gap between wellness advisors without a re-assignment. Furthermore, lack of transition between wellness advisors regarding my past records, discussions, and calendar availability - Measurements not necessarily aligned with my stated fitness goals resulting in poor progress tracking, in addition to lack of consistency in what wellness advisors measure. I do not have a reliable month-to-month comparison of my results. - Very frustrating experience overall. I cancelled my remaining wellness sessions by converting them into personal training sessions Personal Training - 3/4 STAR - The initial workout program I started was not fully aligned with my stated fitness goals during the consultation. For this reason, my results did not meet expectations based on training 2x per week with Bounce Fitness and 1-2x per week on my own. - The program was adjusted when I voiced my concerns with Bary approximately 2-3 months into the program. I started seeing results 1-2 months after the adjustment. - The trainers themselves are great - Colin and Alireza (Ali). They have strong backgrounds and are committed to helping clients reach their fitness goals. Overall, I feel that I wasted the initial 3 months following a program that was not tailored to my stated fitness goals. Most clients have weight loss targets, whereas my goal was to gain lean muscle mass, and my program was not tailored accordingly from the start. I was already in good physical shape such that I did not need a long ramp-up period to learn exercises and increase my stamina. This combined with the ineffectiveness of the wellness sessions leads me to not be a repeat customer after my few remaining sessions are completed. I have discussed all the above with Bounce Fitness and understand that the issues are being addressed. I hope that future customers are able to have a better experience as a result of the changes implemented to the programs.
