I used to take my pups to Curry Comb for a nail trim. They were so great! But now they're closed and had recommended this place. Not only was the price double (I didn't mind that really.), but they did a poor job. Snip snip and they were done. Curry Comb always used a dremmel tool to file the nails after clipping so they were really smooth. Not so here. There is also a highly perfumed candle as you walk in. It about knocked me off my feet! I'm not a fan of synthetic aromas anyway, and this one was particularly strong. They were all friendly but the owner was really pushing an additional treatment that I don't think he needs. We have a standard poodle. The price was set going into the appointment, however she called at pickup and said the price was actually 25% more due to matting and, also "the standard rate is everywhere else is higher". We were not told at drop off that the rate would be higher. We were not called and told that there was matting and the price would need to be higher. We were frustrated that it was a complete surprise. Per my request she chose to honor the price we had previously discussed and plans to increase it the next visit, which I appreciate. The cut was done well, I wish they would have communicated better because I did like their work, I just don't appreciate surprise increases in price without being notified and agreeing to it . read more

He had some matting on his head & ears. Unlike other groomers who just go straight to shaving all of his fur off, Liz patiently brushed them out and kept his head & body fluffy and sparkling white! I used to take my two little shih tzu (Bennie & Blossom) to petsmart, but they cancelled my appointments all the time. During the pandemic time, it is hard to find the right person that I can trust with my two little ones. I called the Perfect Pet Salon and Liz called me back and she was able to spare time for my two little Shih Tzu on Easter Sunday. Liz is so great with my Bennie and Blossom. My Shih Tzu have a great spa day with Liz and she did an awesome job grooming them. We will make spa day for Bennie & Blossom with Liz every 6 weeks. Unfortunate experience today with my daughter's mini Golden doodle. We've brought her pup to the salon before and they did a great job. This time however, he hadn't been groomed in 6 weeks, and his fur was matted. He came in as an adorable fluffy poodle and 4 hours later came out looking like a shorn rat.
