They have their showroom where you can select tile, but they also give you the option of coming to your home with tiling samples and do everything from the comfort of your own home, which is what we chose. We wanted to see how the tile looked with the lighting in our bathroom. It feels fun and exclusive to select tile this way! No crowds or other customers to worry about! Also we knew that he'd have to come to measure up our bathrooms for a quote anyway, so this worked out well for us. We felt the quote was reasonably priced, and we went ahead. They are honest, reliable and trustworthy and I had no qualms about having them work in our home if I was not there the whole time. Our actual contractor was Daniel, who did an AMAZING job. I have spent six months trying to…read moreresolve issues from what should have been a simple installation of hardwood flooring and stair treads. They initially put in red oak flooring, when it should have been white oak and then no one could make it match, so they had to rip it back out. Then they installed stair treads that were found to be unlevel and when I asked them to fix them, they tried to level them using self-leveler that warped the treads and have left a bunch of uneven stairs. Come to find out, they had installed my new treads each time over the existing treads instead of tearing out the old treads which, according to stair professionals, is not at all what should have been done and has lead to all of the issues since. They do not know what they're doing at all. Now proceeding by legal means as they have had no insurance and haven't fixed the improper installation they charged me for. Worst is I am ready to sell the property. So there is the added cost of having to wait to list it until I can have them fixed by real professionals who know what they're doing. At no point have they wanted to admit that anything was their fault. It has been truly maddening. I spent tens of thousands of dollars on various projects with these people and when they screwed something up royally And ai asked to file a claim with their insurance, it turned out they had money. What's worse is I have tried repeatedly to get things remedied by allowing them to fix their work, but no. They have tried to avoid fixing things the right way and have taken every step to save themselves expense while adding to my expenses and headache. Enough is enough and my attorney will handle it from here. They do not care about the quality of their work and doing it the right way. You have been warned.

The selection at Kevin's carpets seems really good to me, and the sales people there are helpful without being pushy. Somehow I chose a beige carpet out of a hundred shades of beige that was just perfect once installed, soft and cushy. The sales person worked out the best way to maximize the carpet for the room shape as it came on the roll, and the installers were quick, did a beautiful job and put all the furniture back in place. I had to have them come back to replace some pad where rain had come in during the heavy rains this spring and had gotten the carpet wet going into a closet. Their seams were so invisible I didn't even see them and I had ripped the carpet up trying to get up the carpet to remove the wet pad. They seamed the ripped carpet back together where I thought I had ruined it so it doesn't even show. Great professional work! Thank you Jeff and the rest of the crew!

We set the installation date for mid-August at Diana's recommendation. She rescheduled us SIX times. Each time was on the day of the appointment and for a number of different lies. Her installer was sick, he was scared of immigration, he got in a car accident, he was at another job, his back was hurt, they didn't have the carpet (?). I was patient and understanding each time but started to get frustrated. They finally came to install it end of November, beginning of December. Within ONE month of it being installed, the binding started coming off in multiple places and was pulled off and frayed completely in one section. When I reached out about getting it fixed/replaced, I was told that it was probably a vacuum (?) that did it. Shouldn't I be able to vacuum my stairs without a new product being damaged? Diana lied YET AGAIN and told me that even though it wasn't their fault (?) she would replace it. At that time I was told that they could replace the single section that was severely damaged without having to pull up the entire runner. We were rescheduled TWICE before an installer and Diana's son came out to let us know that they did not have the supplies they needed to fix it because they actually WOULD need to tear the entire runner up and redo it. I reached out to Diana who scheduled me for a replacement installation that has now been rescheduled FOUR times. We have texted, we have called, we have gone into the store. Nothing has changed, nothing has happened, and she has still yet to take responsibility for being a TERRIBLE business owner. At this point, we have threatened legal action to which we were told "go ahead but we provided the service we said we would." We have asked for a refund and been denied. We have asked to pick up our replacement carpet ourselves so that we could have another more reliable carpet service install it. And she has said TWICE now that she is unable to get the carpet despite having taken the time off for us to pick it up. We finally were able to pick the carpet up from the store ourselves and take it to Carpet One where they bound it and installed it for us within 2 weeks. If you can avoid Kevin's Carpets DO IT. It is not worth your time, energy, or money.
