I pulled in from doing weekend chores and as I offered to pay her I saw this anger in her eyes about how matted my dog was. I was caught so off guard. I brush my dogs three times a week and had just recently bathed both 7 days prior. I saw a side of her today that I hope to God my dogs haven't seen from her. I take the blame for not using a fine tooth comb but NO other groomer has Ever said this to me, never mind treated me that way. She does not have the temperament for this .

It was so bad that it's been over a month and she still looks chopped. Her coat was damp. First and last! I don't recommend this business. It looks like unexperienced groomers, maybe practicing and decided to do whatever they pleased with disregard to the customers request. It is disrespectful to the dog and myself as her owner. It's a nice establishment and they cater to dogs of all sizes. Two hours later I picked them up. The groomer did exactly as I instructed, which was to trim my Yorkie as short as possible for the summer months. She also trimmed their nails. $40 per dog, seems to be the norm. Groomingdales did a nice job and this will be their new place for grooming needs, whether they like it or not. ;-)

I dropped my dog off (she's a very nervous, reserved dog) Both girls came out from behind the counter and gave her some rubs while we were there to make her feel comfortable before my daughter and I left. I loved that!!! The 2-3 other groomers we've been to over the years have never have done that. It made me trust them immediately with my fur-baby. With that said, they had my dog from 11:30am-6:30pm which is way too long. (I think think they did some serious over booking) When I dropped her off at 11:30 they said she'd be done around 3:30-4 (which I thought was abnormally long to begin with) I'll give them some leeway on that since it is the holiday season and i'm sure they tried to be helpful with clients and squeeze in every dog they possibly could. Since this is my first time here, I can't say whether or not they usually take that long or if it's circumstantial. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they're way too over priced. I have a medium sized, 45 lb Border Collie/Shepherd mix and it cost $80 (I paid $95 w/ tip.) I typically pay between $45-$50 before tip for her groom. I can say they did a great job on her overall. She came out super soft, and smells amazing even days later. I would come back without a doubt if the cost came down a little. I simply cannot afford $90-$95 to groom her every time! If you can afford the high cost, I totally recommend them!

She txt me back saying to bring her in before they open so she could groom her for me and for her birthday!! She went out of her way and was so kind.
