I will start off by saying i have two dogs, one of them being extremely difficult to groom due to anxiety-- he is fiesty, snippy, and does not keep still even being medicated. Not many individuals want to groom difficult pets but Bruce makes it look easy. My 3 year old Chow is a HUGE furry shedder with a temper when it comes to his feet and nails. I was looking for a local place to take my small dog Moki for a bath and nail trim. A friend had brought her dog here and loved it. I brought Moki and there were strict COVID guidelines in place. The other had a whole bunch of tough matts that we couldn't handle ourselves; my wife and I were convinced he'd need a lion's cut. Bruce scheduled us for the very next morning. He took down my and the cats' info and had a conversation with me so he'd know what to expect from the cats personality-wise. Few hours later, I got a call that my boys were ready to be picked up. Both cats were looking and smelling fresh and clean, and Bruce and his team were able to work out all the matts without busting out the clippers! Highly recommended. read more

After 3 and a half hours - she looks butchered... and has been licking her paws for the last 30 minutes at home. Same experience previously - I thought maybe a single event - but this time it's worse then before... and I leave a 20 dollar tip every time... won't be back - beware... I cut her myself before without training and did a better job! Frustrated frustrated frustrated. Update: the response I got is then a condescending answer that I do not know what goes on into grooming and puppies are difficult and maybe I should groom my dog more often.... she came in already groomed and I specifically asked for just getting her ears and nails... Ella is over 1 year old... and this is by far the worst haircut she has had over the last year. I have shown her pictures to several breeders. We adopted a new puppy, Luna, who had been found living on the streets in Mississippi. When we got her she was extremely timid and scared of new people, especially men. Her skin and hair were a mess. I was nervous to bring her to a groomer only a few weeks after getting her, but she had very bad dry skin and hair in her eyes, so it needed to be done. We brought her to Bruce and I was surprised by how kind and calm he was. When she hid under the chair, he just sat down on the floor and threw her treats. He probably sat with us for 10 minutes letting her warm up and letting us ask questions. Once she seemed ok, he told us that he couldn't give us an end time estimate because he wanted to give her as much time as she needed. He wanted to move slowly and not traumatize her, which we were all for. The groom took a little under 3 hours, and we were greeted by a clean, happy puppy in the end! I was worried the whole time that she was going to get scared and never be ok going back, but Bruce and his team did such a fantastic job. We won't have to worry about that, and we will exclusively use Bruce going forward. Thank you for a great first experience, Bruce! See you soon! read more

We are SO grateful for Bruce and his team, who were all so kind and wonderful to our sweet yet groomer-shy Pom, Turtle. We recently moved here from out of state and were searching for someone who would be patient and gentle with our boy. Not only was the price for a full groom incredibly fair, but Turtle has never looked better! Every time I would pick him up there would be a complaint of my dog not allowing them to clip his nails, brush his teeth, and his haircut was never just right.
