I mostly worked with doctor Larry Grillo and Manny. Manny is an excellent listener and communicator. with every interaction I truly feel, he's had my best interests in mind. For example, I wanted to get as much work as possible done in each visit. so as not to have to return often. Yet Manny made sure i wasn't doing too much work in any single visit as i had debilitating TMJ last year and to much work could retrigger that TMJ. I am the type of patient who can be very functional in real life but becomes a 2-3 year old emotionally in the dentist chair. It's pretty nerve wracking, and I took almost a year off from repairing my mouth because my C-PTSD emotional responses were unpredictable and traumatizing. Paired with my difficult dental issues, it took a lot for me to go into a new dental office. And she refused to identify herself, her title. Through Google search we found out she is merely a Dental Hygienist diagnosing, pretending to be a Doctor while he is on vacation. Didn't even let us know when we made the appointment that there would be no REAL Dentist on the premises. She glued on the old crown temporarily, crooked and uncomfortable. And it fell off before my Mom could get to a next appointment. Just appalling! Luckily we found a great new dentist quickly. A REAL Doctor who sees the REAL needs of a 95 year old patient, instead of the almighty $$. What Dr Piedras Hygienist did is elder abuse and just really, really lousy work. Don't go to this place. If he goes on vacation and leaves such dishonest and unprofessional people in charge, it's probably a reflection of how he runs the whole place. If I could give them a ZERO, I would.
