The service techs are very unfriendly. The one that comes most frequently will not even speak to us and we have no way of knowing what he is doing nor can we ask him questions. They also sit in their truck in the driveway for about 20 minutes and then spend less than 5 minutes on the pool. The pool never really looks clean. I've tried addressing this with their office and they never return calls. Just really bad customer service. I think the guy that owns this is nice, he just has no idea how badly his family is running the actual business side of things. read more

I recently moved and needed help cleaning the pool at the house I own in Rio Rancho. I had a very difficult time finding a company that is reliable. I used them for pool inspection, maintenance, and closing. Miguel and Claudia were very helpful when I was having a difficult time maintaining my pool. When I called to protest, Claudia at the front desk started threatening me and telling me I "didn't know who I was dealing with." I'll be making a report to the Attorney General's Office. I highly recommend Perfection Pools. Miguel came out and gave us a quote on redoing an old, in ground, gunite pool. From beginning to end, all the men were honest and hard working. The people in the office are also very nice and helpful. The pool turned out beautiful with a ramp making it accessible to my 98 year old mother. Beautiful tile and plaster. The only surprise we had was that they finished ahead of schedule! Well priced and excellent work. I would hire them again. Miguel is very busy and can run late so give them a break. Have been using Perfection Pools and Spas for 3 years now and have always been pleased with their work. The very first time we used them, we had a leak in our pool, at the busiest time of year, and no one would come out to fix it, but them. This year, our pool needed re-tiling and re-plastering. They were the first company we thought of to do the job and we were not disappointed. Our pool before had ugly cracks and the tile was popping off and now it is beautiful. Miguel listened to everything we wanted for our remodel and made it happen. HeHis guys were friendly/helpful and always cleaned up at the end of the work day. Even though we called months ago to schedule a day for our pool opening, they still did not show up. We wasted an entire day waiting around the house. We called a few times during the day to inquire about when we might expect their crew, and each time we were told, "I'll check and call you right back," but she never did. No one ever came. Last summer we had the same experience. We'd schedule maintenance or some kind of service, and they would rarely show up on the designated day but then would randomly appear on other days when we were likely not around. Their billing was always wrong and messed up, but fortunately my wife took good records, though she spent way too much time on the phone with them trying to straighten it out. Let's just say if I could give a zero I would. I made an appointment for a estimate and was told that they would arrive to the house around 2. I waited and waited no one arrived and no phone call was given to explain why they have not shown up or to reschedule. I am very appalled at the lack of customer service. I was ready to spend my money and remodel but the disrespect is just unimaginable. I understand that they have other clients and business but do not schedule appointments that you can not attend. I called on the phone during business hours and was told for sure that Miguel would show up. How this company is still in business is beyond me. All I can figure is that pool customers are so desperate to find a company or someone who says they' can show up to work on their pool, they'll accept anything, including almost unbelievably unrelliable service. Like them, we were desperate to find someone to open our pool for the season since most pool service providers were booked up. Even though last year they NEVER showed up when the office receptionist said they would, we wanted to give them a second chance. So we called last fall to reserve a day this spring in preparation for Memorial Day. That day was today. They never showed up. We called twice and spoke to the receptionist, Claudia, who told us we were "on the list for the day" and she'd call us right back with when they'd arrive. Both times she didn't call back, and no one ever showed up. So much for a Memorial Day Pool party! Time to find someone else. This company is the worst. read more

Our realtor set up an inspection so we could find out if there were pool problems before we bought a house. The service guy seemed a bit casual and said things seemed ok, but we were not pool experts. Six weeks later we find out we need to replace the pool heater, pump, and needed service to the filter plus some minor problems. So we missed the chance for a $3000 problem to be repaired as part of the house purchase. Don't think they have a clue on the mechanical systems. read more

I should have read the other reviews. They came out and said they would need a couple of parts to fix the problem. We scheduled a time for two days later. When they were a no-show, I called the office, and the person said she would have them call with their status later that afternoon. No call. I called back at 5 and there was no answer. I left a message. The next morning the office called and said they were getting the part and would be arriving that afternoon. No show again. I called their office around 4 and got a recording. Called again at 4:30...same recording. NEVER, EVER use this company. read more

Mike did a wonderful job of opening the pool. I was told by a lady in the office that someone would come out on Friday to clean the pool after the initial opening and to kick start my bi-weekly service. They did not show up. They did not call. Ghosted. I normally don't write reviews but I felt inclined to. Professionalism and responsiveness is key. From what I've seen they lack this. If you say your going to do something, do it. I assume they expect to be paid on time, so why isn't the same respect given to the customer. To my veterans out there. I'd advise you to start looking into how you can take care of your own pool in New Mexico. I've found that all the pool company's located in this state have the same business ethics. Very disappointed and highly upset. Praying God makes this right. And we can get back to the day when great customer service was a given.
