Bought three complete steps of expensive Cooper tires over the past 5-6 yrs. The dealer usually gets me in quickly and provide good customer service. My problem is they don't balance your tires when they rotate them. Every other tire shops I have used in 35 yrs. balances the tires on rotation. This is bad business! read more

Stopped by Perfection after Les Schwab quoted me $256 to mount and balance 4 tires I bought online. Perfection seemed fairly busy but were quick to check me in. The service seems fast and professional. The finished price was less then 40% of Les Schwab, in the $100 range. They did not repair my tire, even though, They told me the tire was repaired. On Saturday I dropped off a tire in the morning that was flat. They never called me to let me know if they fixed it. I called them at 4 PM and they said it had been repaired and the reason No one called is because the phones were acting funny. I picked up the tire assuming it was repaired. When I got home I realized it WAS NOT repaired and they didn't even take a look at it. They are not open on Sundays so I have to wait until Monday to talk to a manager. read more

Location NORTH SPOKANE STORE I have brought in my 4runner and my daughters car for flat tires. They have been great both times and even more so on 10/16/23. Kid ran over something and ruined a brand new tire (That we bought from here). Stephen was amazing and got us taken care of quickly with customer service and financially. My dad comes in with his cars and I have brought in two out of my 3 (3rd hasn't needed anything). With this being said, everyone at this branch has been great. I spent $1,600 on new tires for my truck and I've got them at perfection tire because I thought they honored the road hazard warranty or they do not I ran over some nails and blew out all four of my tires they were unrepairable and perfection tire would not replace them would not didn't offer me a discount on another set of tires they could care less. Early last year, I was 300 miles from home when my check engine light came on. This Perfection Tire was close by. They were packed. Said they probably couldn't work me in, but after explaining my situation, they did work me in. After diagnosing the problem, they said all it needed was a tuneup. They charged me a reasonable price and got me on my way fairly quickly. It was a stressful time. My mother was ill. That's why I was in town. While my car was being repaired, plans were being made to move her to hospice. I also had a dog with me (her dog that became my dog). Once I made it home to Renton, I ran some errands and drove right back to Spokane. My 1996 Camry (old car) ran great and has been running great ever since. They knew I would probably never be a repeat customer, since I live so far away. However, they made my car problem their car problem. I am incredibly grateful. Worst customer service in my life. I purchased tires from Perfection 1 year ago and hade to bring it in to fix a tire that was slowly losing air. The incredibly rude man said it would take 4 hours. I told him that les Schwab would never take 4 hours for a 20 minute fix and then he really went off on me... I told him this is terrible customer service. He then looked at all of the people waiting and said, "is that why I am so busy"?... Shocked, I said, no you are so busy because you flood commericals on the TV about how great they are, then don't hire anyone to actually take care of all the false promises... I was told upon arrival that it would be 45 minutes to an hour for an oil change. Based on previous positive experiences at this location, I decided to wait. After 2 hours they finally pulled my vehicle in the shop and it was done 20 minutes later. Due to the excessive amount of time I had to wait my LOF was comped by one of the managers. Had an oil change and filter done.. before that car was oil filter was done at Toyota.. now changing my oil myself and see that the Toyota dealer filter is still on.. . so I doubt it was changed which sucks because I assume they did and ran another 6000 miles on an old filter. I could be wrong and perhaps they had a Toyota branded filter on hand but seems unlikely. The filter is not easy to change that is why I brought it to them.. read more

Unlike the previous comment I have nothing but great things to say about Perfection Tire & Auto Repair. My family has been going to them for years at the north side location and other locations around Spokane. This location particularly is where I take my car and I never have to worry. The minute I walk in I am greeted with a smile. Every member of the team is friendly and helpful. As a woman I have found the stigma about many auto places being shady and pressuring unknowing customers into a false sense of security to be true, but not here! I have never felt pressured into any sale and I have no problem asking questions. Showed up at 7:40, 10 minutes after opening. I was told on the phone on the previous day that my tires and differential flush would take about an hour if I showed up early like I did. It's now 10:30 and still no car. You know fellas, people have busy lives. It's piss poor customer service to explain how to get in and out in a reasonable time and then proceed to waste my entire morning. We purchased a new set of cooper tires at The North Division Perfection Tire. The service was great selling us the tires, they even had them on our Edge in about an hour. As lifelong Les Schwab customers, we thought maybe we found a new tire center. The problem comes when you need your tires serviced. We stopped by 5 times at different times of the day, an on average the wait was 3 to 3 1/2 hours. One time we stopped at 11am and they couldn't even get to it that day. So they told us that our best bet was to be there when they open at 7:30am. So we did just that and was the second customer through the door and the wait time was 3 hours. They told us that they had cars that were dropped the night before. So we ended up getting a nail in one of our tires so we had to take it in. We arrived at 9:30am and they told us it would be 2-3 hours before they had it done. We stopped in at 11:40am and the car hadn't even moved so we went in and talked to them and they said now it would be 1-1:30pm before we can get the car. So we waited in the parking lot and watched the tech fix the flat and rotate the tires. When the tech was done he brought the car up to us with no mask or gloves and obviously the car was not sanitized at all. So would not recommend Perfection Tire to anyone EVER. We will go back to spending a little bit more and go Les Schwab for there service. read more

Took my truck in to have the front struts replaced. They told me on the phone earlier in the week to get there early because Saturdays fill up fast. Got there at 7:30 and they were already booked for the day. However, the gentleman I spoke with on the phone earlier in the week said we'll fit you in because we said we would. Apart from what I am about to say about Perfection Tire & Auto Repair, I am never one to actually get so put off by an organization that I henceforth refuse to give them my business. However: My own bad experience with Perfection Tire (at least this particular shop on the north end near Whitworth) occurred in 2008. I brought my car in for an oil change, and was told that I had such and such wrong with my car. I don't remember now exactly what it was, but my inexperienced nineteen-year-old self took it pretty seriously and was talked into having them do not only the repair but also just a general overhaul of what I now recognize as basically everything that is designed to be easily done by the owner without needing a mechanic (spark plugs, belt, etc.). I had been having some trouble recently with my car's engine not having very much umph behind it when I hit the gas, so I thought this might have been the problem and paid several hundred dollars to have the repair and maintenance done. When I picked up the car, it had that added smoothness of a new oil change and seemed great for a couple of days. I proceeded to drive to visit my parents in Seattle. Not very far along I-90, I started having similar issues with the engine power, and struggled across the state coughing and jerking. By the time I got to Seattle, it was worse than before I'd dropped it off. My dad looked under the hood with me and found that the brand new spark plugs that Perfection Tire had charged me so much to put in--were loose. Pretty basic stuff. I decided that it wasn't a great shop and I'd find somewhere else for my future car maintenance (found the best place, TuneTech, right up the street on Division just south of the "Y"). Fast forward three years. I'm riding somewhere in the front seat of my girlfriend's car this spring. I look over and see that her steering wheel is jiggling quickly whenever we're in motion. I ask her how long it's been doing that, and she says since she had her snow tires taken off and her regular tires put back on. It looked like wherever she'd taken it to didn't check/fix the alignment after they swapped the tires. Where'd she take it? Perfection Tire. Probably paid too much for it too. I was annoyed and started telling some of my friends about it, and before too long was hearing various other horror stories about dealing with them. I had an absolutely great experience with this particular branch. They changed my tires quickly. Gave me the lowest price quote out of anybody the first time around... I didn't have to haggle or beg. They were kind enough to let me know all the services they offered, without being too pushy. I went ahead and did some one stop shopping and got a oil change as well! I took my 4runner in because the 4WD wouldn't engage. They had the vehicle for a full 7 days. They say the diagnosis was difficult and it sounds like it got passed from tech to tech for different periods over multiple days until finally the "best" diagnostician found the problem and got it fixed. Why couldn't the best guy be involved earlier on? I got the sense that it was touched just once per day and if that tech got stumped it was parked back in the yard so they could get on to the next customer and they would have another try at my car the next day. In the end it was fixed, but the communication was very poor as to the progress. I received updates only when I called for them. This shop is always busy (you're lucky to find a place to park) and it appears they are best suited to cranking out tire work and basic maintenance more than actual repairs. They don't allow for appointments so planning is difficult, especially when day 1 is just getting your name on the board for the next day unless you show up at opening. read more

Brought my car in here to have it aligned and they said they would have it by the end of the day. Didn't finish the alignment and I couldn't pick it up since i was at work. Flat tire light went on so I went to the closest north Spokane tire store. They found a nail in a place they said they could not fix and offered me prices on 4 new tires. They did suggest first that I go to the store where I purchased tires and see if they would declare it a road hazard warranty. So, I went to Perfection and they said even if it was under warranty I would still have to buy 3 tires because the car is an All Wheel Drive. BUT, the good news is he said he thought he could fix the flat! He went above and beyond as far as I'm concerned. New tires were not in my budget! 3-3-18 took vehicle in for what, I thought was a bad alternator. Few hours later received a call saying, vehicle was ready to go. Trouble turned out to be a defective battery. I am convinced that it doesn't matter how badly you are treated at auto repair and/or tire shop. The bottom line is that there are tons of cars out there and business will always be good. Brought my car in because of a flat tire on nearly new tires purchased there. Rotation and oil change also. The desk mechanic was rude from the beginning. Yes, I can leave my car (walked to Starbucks) and yes he would call me when it was ready. Four hours later, no call, I walk back. Car has been done for ages. Could I walk to the back 40 and get it? Sure. I drive off and find there is no oil change sticker in the window. I drive back. Desk jockey writes out a sticker with a felt pen. "You have the wrong year on the sticker," I tell him. He starts over and finally finishes writing it up. He puts the sticker in the window. It looks like a kindergartner drawing. I drive home and am in desperate need for a drink. read more

Set up a 9am-12 appointment for tires and alignment. Called at 12 they said it was done, then realized they had not done the alignment yet, but they would get right on it. Called back at 2pm they still had not started it, but claimed they would get right on it. Came back in the shop at 230pm and they still had not started it, but stated they could get to it in about an hour. Finally ended up leaving without an alignment. I have been taking my wife's car and my truck here for years. Not only are they great mechanics, they take very good care of the customers. My wife was recently there with my 6 year old son who just purchased a wobbly or warble ball. While my wife's car was being worked on the staff took it upon themselves to fill up the ball with air for my son. My vehicle was dying, I brought it in to Perfection Tire. They held onto it for several days, a worker, I believe his name was Ron, called and told me he wasn't sure what was wrong, but it was okay to pick up and SAFE TO DRIVE. I paid my bill and picked up my car, I couldn't even make it down to Division, and was VERY unsafe to drive. I called Perfection, and was told they NEVER DID A SAFETY TEST BEYOND THE PARKING LOT. The manager, Cory, apologized. I brought my car to a dealership and was informed my timing belt cover had been broken, and pieces had collected in my engine (this sound started after I picked up my vehicle from Perfection) I relayed this to Cory, he asked me to bring back my car, therefore they could fix it. I picked up my car and was NEVER presented a bill. Now, years later, I am getting a call from Collections for hundreds of dollars!!!!! Called on Saturday to 'schedule my appointment' for monday at 8 to bring my car in for emission repairs. Gave the guy all my info over the phone. When i got there they asked all my info again and I said it should be in there, i called and had an appointment scheduled, and the lady said okay. So i leave her my keys and over an hour later i get a call saying they never scheduled my appointment in the first place and if they did, he would have told me that he cant do repairs on my car because its too old and I would have to take it somewhere else.
