My only bummer was that I paid for a drone to film our wedding day (mainly hoping to surprise my future husband with a drone during our wedding as he LOVES them) only to find out that they likely used stock footage for our video as we didn't see a drone all day and the footage of our venues didn't have any of the furniture we had outside for the cocktail hour or images that showed it was actually from our wedding day - which is fine, I just wish they had clarified so I didn't tell him there would be a surprise on the wedding day and I would have been looking forward to it. Overall, they were very easy to work with and did a great job, but make sure you read your contract fully if you add things on as I didn't clarify and was a bit let down.

Talk about bad business! This company solicited us from a Facebook post during our search for a…read morevideographer for our wedding, and decided to CANCEL on us based on the "terms in their contract". After meeting with both partners and expressing our interest in using them, and even as far as going through the contract with one of them on the phone, it was expressly clear of our intent to hire them for our wedding. Especially after signing and returning the contract SAME DAY. My fiancee informed one of the partners that she needed to move some funds into her checking account in order to pay them for the agreed upon total of the contract, come to find out, we did not pay them within their "48-hour payment window". While this is stipulated in the fine print of their contract, funds were being moved over a weekend (Sunday / bank closure) as we told them, and upon follow up of payment after the funds cleared, this company informed us they have already engaged with another party to work with over our wedding weekend without a single word from them. Nice people to talk to, will stab you in the back with the "terms of their contract". Do not book them if you are in need of a wedding videographer, or your plans will change quickly!

It's now after our wedding and we're happy to review the service very positively. In addition to our wedding coverage, we also booked engagement photos with Big Day Memories and they were easy to work with to extend extra service, fold the cost into our contract and account with them, and provide the photos soon after (which we then displayed some during our wedding a few months later). We had a destination/adventurous engagement photoshoot and the Big Day Memories photographer (Alex) was very accommodating with how to meet/find us, send up the drone to try and get some special shots, and followup with traditional posed engagement photos at a nearby sculpture garden. For the wedding we had Masha as our primary photographer, and then we also had an assistant photographer and a videographer. They worked well as a team and had their own communication radios to coordinate. We had limited time at our venue before the ceremony started and the BDM team worked hard to get lots of shorts in with our getting ready, first look, and bridal party. We had some clothing changes and we stepped out from our reception dinner to do sunset photos. The BDM team took down our day-of schedule and were always ready when we needed to hit our important photo sessions. Throughout the process, communication with BDM project manager was always responsive. We always had total confidence that they knew what we wanted, what was important to us, and were on board with our plans for our big day. This is something we really appreciated and it was really great to see the same level of competence extended to the professional photographers and videographer we worked with at our wedding. We received sneak peek processed photos within 5 days of the wedding, which was way faster than we expected. They are looking gorgeous and we are eagerly anticipating the edited video and remaining photos. We hope to never need to get married again, but if we have any other big days coming up that we want to capture with great photography coverage, Big Day Memories will get our business again.
