However, as soon as I met both Jennifer & Sean, I was immediately put at ease at how laid-back they were. *On the plus side, they had hired a fantastic makeup artist, who also took on hair-styling, so I didn't even have to worry about any of that! Come on, who doesn't love to be pampered, even just a little bit?* The entire shoot lasted a few hours, but it felt like a whole long adventure! I went in with a naked face, and by night, I was rocking a completely different look that was fiercely more dramatic...I was LOVING it! The Jacobs pretty much helped me transition from thinking "oh god, I don't really know what I'm doing" to "I GOT THIS!" in just one session. Not only were they extremely open to suggestions, but they also had a good amount of input as to what they wanted (which I personally prefer). There was a great sense of communication and professionalism throughout the session and even before we had met up. After the shoot, I received the edited photos in a reasonable amount of time, as promised. Gotta say, I was blown away at the outcomes...I could barely recognize myself in some! I want to clarify upfront that my experience was with a separate business coaching program run by…read moreAram, not the photography services primarily advertised on this page. I'm reviewing here because my $2,499 payment for that coaching program was made to Blossom Media Studios LLC, the business associated with this page. I was in the program for about a week before asking to leave. My issue was not that I didn't like being challenged. It was how concerns about the way I was being treated were handled. During coaching when Aram had brought in a guest, I felt dismissed and spoken down to. I also raised concerns about how a very serious family situation was handled. I found Aram's response insensitive, and when I tried to address that along with the other concerns I had, the conversation repeatedly shifted toward my emotions instead of the actual issue I was raising. He told me he was not good at "emotional advice," suggested I take time off until I was "in a good place," later described me as "very emotional," told me to wait until my emotions "kind of settle down," and referenced therapy while encouraging me not to make a decision yet. I repeatedly clarified that I was not asking for emotional support. I was a paying client raising a professional concern about how I was being spoken to. After a long back and forth, Aram eventually acknowledged that some of the conduct "can be viewed as insensitive" and said they would be more conscious about me being talked over. By that point, I no longer felt comfortable continuing the relationship. I asked to terminate the program, cancel the remaining scheduled payments, and requested a partial refund because I had only been in the program for about a week. Aram responded, "Yeah you are receiving everything in the worst way possible. We definitely cannot work together," said I would be removed from everything, and refused any refund. After I posted a Yelp review about my experience, he texted me: "You have 24 hours to take down the false yelp review or you will be getting an official cease and desist from my legal team for defamation." I have retained the screenshots, voice message/transcription, payment record, contract, and other communications referenced here. I'm sharing my firsthand experience and the language used with me. Based on my experience, I would not work with Aram again. Update because Aram responded to this review: I never demanded "instant results." I was in the program for 8 days. My issue was never that I wasn't making enough money fast enough. My issue was that I raised concerns about how I was being spoken to and asked for basic respect. I also did not "download and use all the materials." I was only about 15% through the videos when I left, and the only thing I remember being able to actually download was a small notion template that one of his friends/coaching clients had made. I absolutely had not used the full program. He also says he "waived" the other 50%, but that happened after we both agreed we could not continue working together and I was removed from the program. I had already paid $2,499 and asked for a partial refund since I had only been there a little over a week. He refused. Since posting my review, he texted me that I had 24 hours to take it down or I would be getting a cease and desist for defamation. He has now also publicly said he'll "let a jury see the entire message thread." That's completely fine with me. I have the entire thread too, which is why I've included screenshots with this review. I also never labeled him. I described what happened to me, quoted things he actually said, explained how I personally felt about those interactions, and included receipts so people can read them for themselves. I'm not upset that I didn't get "instant results." I left because I did not feel I was being treated with basic professionalism, and his response to me speaking about my personal experience has only reinforced my decision.
