It was way beyond simply red and took almost two weeks to heal. I contacted the manager who proceeded to send "cut and paste" corporate replies that didn't even fit the context of my complaints. I went to see her personally since it was obvious she wasn't going to address my concerns in an email. To make a long story short, she didn't even investigate with the technician concerning what happened and didn't plan to. She proceeded to blame my daughter for the burns and said that since it wasn't my experience she didn't want to talk to me further, so I told her to contact my daughter to further investigate. I waited a week for her to call her and she never did. I plan to send this complaint to the BBB and massage envy's corporate office, however, I'm pretty sure they will deny culpability. Since our first visit three years ago was great, we decided to try them again. We were delighted that this facility was still providing quality service and adherence to CDC guidelines. All four of us were serviced together and all tools used for the pedicure were new and opened in our presence. The foot baths were freshly prepped in our presence to include fresh tub liners for each foot bath. Clinicians all wore face mask and gloves. We watched them dispose of the instruments used for each pedicure and the re-cleaning of the stations which included the entire pedicure chair.
