Meet the Business Owner: Ellen L.

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist in New Jersey. I always knew that I wanted a career in helping others - it is my passion and what makes me most happy. A graduate of William Paterson University, I studied psychology and special education. I spent time working with autistic children, during which I discovered that many of the students enjoyed having their backs and arms massaged, allowing me to create special connections with them using touch. Through that experience, I discovered that I enjoyed working one-on-one, focusing on an individual's specific needs. Very calm, easy-going and friendly, a career in massage therapy brings me and my clients much joy. Trained at JSG School of Massage Therapy in Northvale, NJ, I am told I've exceptional hands, and an intuition to tailor my services to each client's needs. The joy and relief that is brought to my client's face once I have thoroughly massaged them is my greatest reward. I have chosen the perfect career for myself.
