I had been a long-time customer of Perfecto Dry Cleaners for years, but I am now compelled to discontinue my business with them following an extremely distressing experience. The owner not only refused to take responsibility for damaging my garment but also verbally abused me to the extent that I had to report the incident to the West Linn police. On December 12, 2024, I dropped off two coats, a scarf, and a sweater dress at Perfecto Dry Cleaners, paying $61 in total. When I picked up my items on December 17, I discovered a hole in the mesh portion of my cashmere/mesh sweater dress purchased from Bergdorf Goodman. This damage was not present when I dropped it off, and I believe it was caused by the metal hangers the business uses, which punctured the mesh fabric. I returned to the dry cleaners to seek a resolution, but the owner denied all responsibility. He offered to sew the hole, acknowledging that the repair would be highly visible and permanently alter the dress's appearance. Instead of accepting this subpar offer, I requested a refund for the $16 dry cleaning fee for the damaged dress (not the full cost of the dress), and the owner became hostile. He shouted at me, accused me of lying, labeled me a "difficult person," and ordered me to leave, saying I was no longer welcome. I was appalled by this treatment. As a long-time customer who had always respected this business, I was shocked by the owner's unprofessional and abusive behavior. No customer should ever be subjected to such disrespect--especially when the business is clearly at fault. Following the incident, I reported the verbal abuse and harassment to the West Linn Police Department. The police supported my decision to voice my concerns and advised me to share my experience on platforms like Yelp, Google, and Facebook, file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and consider pursuing the matter in small claims court. To be clear, my intention is not to be unreasonable or cheap--I'm not someone who would quibble over $16. My frustration lies in the lack of accountability, the owner's aggressive and disrespectful behavior, and the way I was treated. I feel it is my responsibility to share this experience to protect other customers and ensure no one else endures similar mistreatment. If the business responds with further retaliation or verbal assault, I will have no choice but to report any hostile behaviors (again) to the West Linn Police Department. read more

The work they do is fantastic! They provide alterations as well as dry cleaning. The only things I have a small problem with is I feel like the prices are a little high and sometimes it takes a few days to get your clothes back. read more

I've been coming to this place for a couple of years and always liked Tom--he seemed like a hardworking guy. However, one day they ruined my new skirt by getting grease on it that definitely wasn't there when I dropped it off. When I brought it up, the owner snapped and accused me of lying. I only use dry cleaning for one article I have from my mother: a short jacket that states to dry clean. Perfecto is the ONLY PLACE I take this darling, favorite jacket to be cleaned, and I MUST TELL everyone that Perfecto is the very best! ! ! They take extra time to clean special areas and still charge the original amount. Super friendly people at the windows, and I love taking my favorite aqua-marine jacket to care for it until I may pass it on to my own daughter! That's ALL I NEED TO SAY ! ! ! read more

Essentially I was told I was LYING!!!I was treated horribly by these folks after patronizing their business and then they lose my items???? I will never return and I will share my experience with my neighbors. I have used Perfecto cleaners for years. They are absolutely wonderful. Tom takes a lot of pride in his work which he does exceptionally well. They are prompt, and they go out of their way to accommodate you. As an example: One day it was after hours and I was leaving on a business trip the next afternoon, Sunday, and had forgotten to pick up my clothes. Tom and his team have yet to disappoint! They go above and beyond to make sure my shirts are cleaned, precisely pressed, and of course, ready to go when requested. They have even surprised me with their attention to detail by fixing small stains I didn't even notice, or have noticed but thought wouldn't be repairable! Alterations are a snap, even small rips in elbows etc. are repaired professionally and without degradation to the look of the shirt. I go here a lot on Saturdays in particular. My recent visit I told the person who works here to get a stain out of my favorite blue shirt and didn't even care if he charged a little extra. He told me he would look at it and get it done. I picked up my shirts Wednesday and got home to see the stain was still on my blue shirt. We have used Perfecto Dry Cleaners for many years. They do an excellent job and are always happy to see you. They even remember your name which I really like. I have had clothes and curtains cleaned and even my wedding dress preserved with not one problem. I had a black and white dress that got wet and the black panels bled badly into the white panels. I really like the dress so I took it to Perfecto for help. I don't know how they did it but they got all the black out and the dress looks brand new! Perfecto is terrific. read more
