Performance Pest was awesome! We were able to get an appointment within a week of calling and the guy who came out knew his stuff. I can't remember his name but he said he worked for the company for 17 years. He was diligent when surveying the property and disclosed all the relevant info upon his findings. He was also covid safe and quick. He came back a week or so later to do the actual work and again, I felt that he handled the job diligently and precisely. Had them over to take care of a pesky gopher problem in my yard. John the tech was a great friendly guy. He used gopher bait the first time, but it didn't solve the problem. Brought him back a second time after about two weeks, that too didn't work. Total cost $235. After another month of putting up with the critter, got myself a $25 a solar powered ghoper stake that beeps every 28 seconds, from Home Depot. That seems to have done the trick. After a further 3-4 weeks of it, I have been gopher free for the last 5 months. I just moved the stake around even if there was a small suspicious mound, but no gophers. Thanks God! read more

I actually called Performace pest their "sister company' to get my rat problem fixed and they referred me to Premier because I found a rat in my kitchen. They came out the next day for an inspection and did some repairs around my house, set up some traps...etc.... then scheduled follow up visits to make sure things were o.k. The guy Ken gave us lots of advice and was very nice. The problem was solved and overall I found their pricing reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again in the future if I need pest control. read more

I don't like their scheduling system. The time frame is 2 hours. They either come at that time or exactly two hours from the schedule time. So basically you're sitting there waiting for them. Waste of time. The technicians are nice --it's just you have to tell them where to spray a lot times. read more

I'm hoping to add "stars" to this chart very soon- Subject: FLEA INFESTATION! Imagine walking from the sidewalk to the front porch of your humble abode (approx 20 feet) to find 100+ fleas on each leg and there moving upward... ...under your pant legs. Gruesome, isn't it? Mere words cannot describe how awful this is! I panicked, grabbed the phone book and started going through the pest control companies until I confirmed an a BUG TECH for the following morning. Performance Pest Management is going completely above-and-beyond the call of duty to assist me. Apparently, it is the worst infestation anyone in this organization has seen in 30 years! (Lucky me?) Without going into details about how much PPM has done, I want to say, Katie and her crew are top notch! On time, very professional, and actually seem to care!? Here it is 8 weeks later. Approx 80% of those nasty little blood-sucking beggars seem to be gone! However, I want them ALL gone and performance seems to be taking the challenge very personally! This companies service is a model of the way things used to be, not so many years ago... Can't say enough good things so, I'll just recommend you call them whenever you need to rid yourself of pests! They showed up when they said, treated my property for gophers; two days later and I still have fresh gopher mounds. I then promptly called them up. They are willing to come back out but will charge me again. So they will treat your problem but won't guarantee their work! I could understand if the gophers disappeared then came back a month or so later, but TWO (2) days?!? Take my advice, go to Orchard Supply, but some gopher bait for $10 and treat the holes yourself. You'll get the same results and save a few hundred bucks. read more

This company continues to exceed expectations! They came out today as a complimentary return visit to get rid of our ants and spiders for good. Not only were they polite and prompt (phone staff to technicians, and everyone in between) but they worked amazingly hard to get the job done. When I called there was not one moment of questioning or doubt on their end. The bugs are not gone so they came back out- end of story. We've had other great technicians but I'd like to give a shout-out to Guillermo, "Mo", who worked tirelessly to make sure we understood how to best take care of our home going forward. His suggestions were all on point and not once were we pushed to buy additional services or sign up for anything. He meticulously de-cobwebbed the exterior of our home by hand so we can establish a "pest-free baseline" to test future infestation against. More points for Performance and Mo in particular; his appearance was neat and he was both friendly and professional. He spoke with myself and my husband clearly and patiently, and was easily able to recognize and explain our situation. Clearly a true expert in his craft. My neighbor saw him in action and asked for Performance's phone number- I'm certain they will have much more business from my neighborhood. They deserve one star because they are prompt and the techs that come to your house are very friendly. They deserve zero stars because they do not guarantee their work. My advice if you decide to use this company is to make sure you know exactly what you're paying for and if you want to see the problem fixed, use someone that guarantees their work for at least more than two days. Also, the day I posted this, three other 5 star posts came up (one specifically about gophers). Suspicious - looks like friends posted on their behalf, but that's just speculation. Their comments on Yelp in response to my review and complaints, are indicative enough of what kind of company this is. In Response to Performance Pest Management's Response to my comment: I never said I wanted them to perform the work for free. I simply noted that their invoice states that they guarantee one free re-application within 30 days for first time customers. She then told me that statement is for everything but gophers. Well, thanks for the heads up prior to my taking time off of work to do the re-application. Once they informed me of their policy, I wanted nothing to do with their company. I simply told her that if I was told of their policy prior to using them, I would have used the other company I got a quote from stating that they guaranteed that I would be gopher free for 30 days. She then offered to match their price for me with the same guarantee, but I declined as I was not satisfied and wanted nothing else to do with them. She also threatened to sue me if I posted on Yelp. Freedom of speech, heard of it? BTW - look up the definition of extortion!!! If I had accepted your offer of paying only $55 for the second treatment, then that would be extortion. Also in response to their comments to my post, I did not demand free service, I read, word for word, the guarantee on the invoice and said that if that wasn't their company's policy, they should tell people when they call back to get that re-application. I stand by my review and you can explain yourself all you want, but your Yelp responses (very unprofessional by the way) and threatening me with a call from your attorney, makes me happy that I gave you such a negative review. read more

We moved in to a new house with a lot of construction still going on around it so we had a huge spider problem. We were killing a dozen or so spiders in the house every day. Performance Pest came out and sprayed. They told us it would take a couple of weeks to notice a significant difference. Sure enough, after a couple of weeks, our spider count went way down. With the ongoing construction, we are on a maintenance program with them. Every other month they call a couple of days ahead to let us know they are coming. They come on time. They knock on the door before they start working to let us know they are there. And if we are not home, they just leave the bill on the door. The prices seem reasonable compared to some of the big nationwide chains. Now we see a spider in the house maybe once every few weeks. Without Performance Pest Mgmt we would be completely overrun by spiders. We have been very happy with the service and will continue to use them. read more

Great, smooth transaction by Performance Pest Management. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. They worked with me and coordinated with my tenant to find a time that worked for the service and did a good job on site. The pricing is VERY reasonable as well; after doing a few different price checks, I was amazed at what some places were charging. One place was asking $275 for a simple half hour spraying, also dependent upon the types of bugs (which I was not aware of) and it would only be for either inside or outside. Performance Pest Management didn't require any removal of furniture or hours of service; they sprayed both inside and outside and eliminated the pest problem effectively. Contacted this company to help solve my bee problem. They were able to locate the nest and treat within 10 minutes of the visit. They do treat every problem that I could ever have and that is why I picked this company. They even have a rodent division (I hope I never have to use). Maybe a day or two before they can come out since they are over the bay but well worth the wait. read more
