They said our pool cover was not working and they had to repair it. No one ever contacted us about the cover not working and when we questioned the bill, they told us they would remove the charge since they did not get prior authorization to fix anything. At this point everything was great and we even talked to them on the phone and thanked them for all the work they did since we were not there to do it ourselves. Then we sold the house and all bills were paid up. We received another bill, again for the repair to the cover and another service cleaning 2 weeks we asked them to stop cleaning the pool as we sold our home. Upon my email to them asking them to credit our account for these mistakes, I received 2 very nasty emails from the owner, Billy. Here was my email to them: Hi there. I just received this bill in the mail. 1. I am unclear what the balance forward of $693.98 is for as we never authorized anything for that amount. (if this was for fixing the cover, please talk to Billy as we told him it would have been something that Custom Pools would have done as they were the installers) 2. We no longer own the home as of 8/28 and when I spoke with Billy the only outstanding amount that was due was $180.22. Not sure what the charge is for on 9/2, but once again, this was not something we authorized and we had canceled the service as of the week of 8/10. Please contact me as soon as possible as we should be all paid up and no longer receiving any bills from you as we no longer own the home. And here are the 2 emails we received back in response from this: Email 1: You two are a nasty piece of work.......just go away and don't come back......... And take your money with you............... Email 2: I am sending you 2 a complete credit for your balance..... Now.....just go away and never contact us again...... Thanx for going away.. I cannot believe someone would write such nasty things to a customer who hired them without ever even meeting them and who always paid all of their bills as soon as we received them. If there was a negative star, I would give it for this company and I would for sure NEVER recommend this company to anyone.

Joe the owner is a piece of work. They "opened" my pool, took the cover off, and "opened" pool…read morewhich consisted of taking the mesh cover off and taking plugs out. Not turning on the pump, the heater, nothing. $353.00. AND left a plug in that auto fills the pool, causing it to keep pushing water through, which caused a hard water stain of a 6x8 area of my concrete. The water treatment couldn't keep up with the amount of water it was trying to push through, because the plug was left in! Joe tried to blame me, saying the couldn't see the plugs because it was swampy, which was total untrue, it wasnt merky at all for the first 12 inches of the pool and they sure didn't have problems taking out the others. They missed it, didnt know what it was due to inexperience. The problem: inexperienced workers that have clue about high end pools. He is selling the company, probably because he can't keep workers. He shouted at me saying "I will write the bill off (because I said I am not paying until you get rid of the 5x8 stain on my concrete) but we will not service you anymore". I didn't call for their service anyway, my pool guy chose to contract it out because he was busy, I would never want them back!

Their prices are hard to beat and the service is absolutely stellar. Had them perform multiple services this year and they were very prompt with communication, scheduling and then getting the work done. I would highly recommend them anyone who owns a pool. P.S. - they have a weekly chemical program for which the cost is very comparable to essentially if you were buying chemicals from a store yourself!
