It seemed very overwhelming the amount of damage that was left in its wake, but Schaun walked us through every step of the way. From dealing with the insurance company to mitigation and finally rebuilding the ceiling, floors, walls and everything else that needed to be replaced, Schaun and his team were on top of it every step of the way. The whole damage (which trust me was a lot) took eight or nine weeks total to rehab and most of that time was spent waiting for the insurance company to approve the claim. Even before the claim went through, Allied was at our house with air scrubbers, giant fans, and dehumidifiers to prevent any mold buildup that may have taken place since the leak. They were also on top of the insurance company to get our claim approved, and once it finally was, his crew was here the next day to get started on the work and continued to be here each day until the job was done. Schaun was very professional and courteous and his crew did a great job getting our house back in order. I would recommend them to others and use Allied Property Services again if anything like this ever happened again.

Unfortunately we had another water event at our home this year. This time it was in our basement. A…read moreline on our water softener failed. That sent a lot of water into our newly remodeled bathroom, hallway, and laundry room. We had recently been inspired by watching Renovation 911 which is a new renovation show on HGTV based here in MN. It was this inspiration that led us to contact them. Aaron came out right away and accessed our situation. He advised us that the water had gone under the floor into these other rooms and hallway. Aaron was able to remove our sink and floor in the bathroom, pull up some carpet and cut out some drywall. He then set up fans and equipment to start the drying process. I believe her name was Kathy, then came out a few times including on the weekend to check the status of the drying process. Once everything was dried, I advised Aaron that we would like their team to also handle the rebuild. Aaron referred me to Drew who contacted our insurance agent and assigned our file to Mark G. This is where everything went downhill. For the next 30 days, 30 days, I emailed, called and texted Mark. Sometimes he replied, sometimes he didn't. When he did, he would say that he was waiting for something from our insurance. So I would call my insurance agent, he advised me everything had been approved. I would then go back to Mark who said he still was waiting for information. After 30 days of confirming with our insurance and repeated attempts to contact Mark, we figured they had other projects that were more important. I again contacted my insurance agent and requested that the approved amount be sent to me. I then advised Drew and Mark that we would be going in a different direction. We did our own research, and about two weeks later we had the carpet installed, the bathroom floor, sink and vanity installed, and the drywall completed. Clearly it seems that our business was not important to them, however we are very thankful to the companies that cared enough to help us complete our project.

Tony Smith was the tech that showed up and he cleared out the drain and made sure is was flowing fast. Did a great job. The cost was $647, but I needed it fixed and it was the day before the 4th of July. So I needed it done and knew what the price was. I didn't get a receipt for the payment or the work done. That's not good, but the work was done to solve the issue.

Air conditioning was failing causing me to call Tim's Home Repair. I've never used them before but…read morethe scheduler told me to get my system evaluated would cost $99. "Aaron" came out and informed me that my heat exchanger was unsafe and that it should be replaced before the heating season. After checking the condenser and freon amount, he said I was down 2-3 lbs. which was almost half of the amount I should have, and informed me that it would cost over 1,1000 to charge it back up and repair a minor leak in a Shrader valve. I chose to wait to do anything and was charged 250.50 for his service call, not the 99.00 I was told on the phone. I called Center Point Energy's "Home Service Plus" the next day and they also checked out the heat exchanger and found NO problems. They also informed me that my freon was NOT insufficient and that Tim's Home service was trying to sell me a new HVAC system at 13,000. I was depending on Tim's Home Service to be reliable and informative to me and they were not honest or reliable and will never have them back into my house again. Homeowners beware.
