Decided to take a chance on PST for a disk brake conversion kit for my 68 Olds. The price was good plus free shipping. I placed my order, and they immediately charged my credit card. I didn't hear anything from them, so I called a couple weeks later, took me several trys to get ahold of someone, was told it would ship out August 15th. Around the end of July, I decided to go in another direction with the Olds and called to cancel the order. The guy, I think he said his name was Raymond, but couldn't be sure because the connection wasnt great, canceled the order. I asked "Raymond" if I would be getting a refund back on my credit card, he hesitated then said sure. Well, the sent me an email with a store credit instead of a refund. And when I have tried to contact them, I get no response, I've emailed several times, and called. Since I called before it was ever shipped, I expect a refund. This is the story of a nightmare in rebuilding my Mopar a-body front end: a 1974 dodge dart. I decided to take a chance on pst, as I got recommendations from the a-bodies only forum. This is my daily driver so I didn't want a bone jarring ride. I opted for their standard front end kit. This consisted of tie rods, sleeves, idler arm, ball joints and bushings. When I placed my order they were quick to take my money, but slow to ship. When my package arrived there was no padding, just a bunch of parts in bags rattling around inside. 1st thing I noticed when putting everything together was the tie rod adjusting sleeves didn't tighten down enough. The clamps were distorted, and the tie rods didn't have symmetrical travel on each side of the adjuster sleeve. I tried contacting pst for help via phone and email but got no help. I ended up using my old adjusting sleeves! 2nd was the upper ball joints. They didn't fit, period. I mic'ed them and found both to be .044 larger than the arm would accept! That's a huge difference! Again, no help from pst. They said because it was all sold as a kit there were no exchanges or refunds on the parts because of the lowered cost, but that I could pay for another set (that likely wouldn't work) I bought some moog cheapies just to get the dam thing back together. Next was the strut rod bushings. One was too soft, and when I went to secure the strut rod the bushing gave too much and caused the arm to bind. The other didn't allow for the correct placement either. Ordered some energy bushings and they worked perfect. After getting the car back on the road the upper control arm bushings failed. On one the rubber tore, another a sleeve broke, and the remaining two squeek. I didn't even have 50 miles on the car since the rebuild! Pst wants nothing to do with me. They won't refund me for the unusable parts, and now I have to find something to drive while I fix the front end AGAIN. If you value your ride, don't fuck with these clowns. Then finally a call back today. Well, I was told by DAN in customer service that "I should've known" and its MY fault I got the wrong parts.... If I want to pay to ship back the parts they'll refund me after... he then argued with me about how I was told and this is the first time he's even talked to me!!! If you think these guys are bad now, wait until you try and make a claim for a defective part under their "lifetime warranty" . They will give you the runaround for a few weeks, dodge your phone calls and email and then place the blame on how the parts are just "worn out", which is not covered under their warranty. Brought several thousands dollars of suspension products for a resto-mod of a '66 Comet. They sold me a rear sway bar that they said fit my car. Not! Called and emailed their technician. Sent pictures. The technician gave me conflicting information on the installation and in the end apologized for the bad info. Kept telling me I was not following the correct method to install and sent me a picture of how the sway bar should look installed. Problem was he sent me pictures of the sway bar installed on a '67 Mustang. Followed his directions. Sent several pictures of the installed sway bar and a picture that clearly showed it would not fit. Told me he had to kick it upstairs to his manager before he could issue a refund. A month later after several calls, no response from the manager. The cost of the sway bar $199.00! My purchases over $2,000!! Lost another customer due to poor customer service, ill-trained technicians, and complete lack of ethics!!! Stay away.... read more

I placed the order over the phone so I'll make sure the items are correct and I mentioned to the sales rep that I want polygraphite bushings. I received only rear polygraphite bushings, the front bushings were all rubber no different than the ones I can get from a local auto parts store for a fraction of the price. I figured it was a mistake, so I called them to exchange the rubber bushings. They told me that they don't even carry poly for the front, and when I wanted to return them, I was told that they are going to charge me a 20% restocking fee. They lied and sold me the item, then required a fee to return. I asked for a manager and got transferred to Dan, so called manager. He started yelling at me and told me he is not going to issue me a refund because I don't have the invoice. There was never an invoice in the box, but they have my order info and I have my credit card statement with the proof of purchase. This was just a reason for him not to refund any money He is lucky that he is in Jersey and I live in LA, because if he was closer to me, we would've had a different conversation in person. Purchased strut bushings for an original 1964 Barracuda. Bushings in the car were not even close to what they sent. When I called them they said they would work. When we tried to install them they would not fit. We spent some time and found the correct ones locally. They went in great and worked awesome. Called PST left message with Matt. Did not return my call. Called again left message did finally here back they still insisted they were the right bushings. Would refund my money after I paid ( they would not refund the return postage) to send the parts back even though they were not the right parts. Very poor customer service. read more

Beware!! These guys are quick to take your money. As you can see from the other reviews they will answer the phone and sell you a product in a heartbeat. If you have any trouble what so ever they will not get back to you. I ordered a power brake booster/master kit. Before ordering i called to confirm that the kit would work with my application. They assured me that it would work. After receiving the kit and installing it my rear brakes apply and never release. I went through all the paces and did my due diligence to make sure all is well. After a couple days of head scratching i finally concluded it must be the wrong kit. I called PST and called, and called, and called... no response. When they did answer the phone they were very rude. Told me that in order to fix it I need to buy additional parts. NO WAY. They sold me the wrong part for my application. After repeated calls I still have no resolution. When i told them I would like to return it they responded with the typical answer. They will not take it back. I have been trying to set up a return but they will not allow it. I am 500$ into these parts and i cant use them. Stay away from these guys. I repeat DO NOT USE PERFORMANCE SUSPENSION TECHNOLOGY. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! PST stated they would sell us small block A-Body torsion bars for $220. We ordered them, and when trying to install them, we realized they weren't able to be adjusted at all. The car sits too high, we weren't even able to drive it. When I called PST customer service and told them of the problem, not only did it take me about 3 days to get someone who would deal with me on the situation, Dan then told me that for another $200 they would exchange the torsion bars and send me the right ones.After he eluded to the fact that we should have known better, and it was solely our fault. In other words, the $200 torsion bars are not worth it!! Now we have a set of torsion bars that can't be used for anything but a door stop. Thanks, PST. read more
