Well, this dealership hasn't received anything above a "1 Star" review since 2018 and I have learned the hard way why. This will be a long one, but certainly worth the read if you're considering shopping here. Since purchasing my car here back in July 2019, I have had nothing but issues. I am generally someone that works hard to give the benefit of the doubt and to look past minor issues but I just can't look past the things that have happened here. As a disclaimer, I do not blame any of the people named directly it is strictly to lend some accuracy and detail to my review. The problems here lie with the business as a whole, not individuals. I moved to Cincinnati in July and it all happened rather quickly. I didn't have a lot of time to get savings together or make detailed plans and I needed a car fast. I am a young twenty-something and just don't have much additional cash laying around to spend so I aimed to find a used car that could last me at least a few years while I got my feet under me here. I thought I was getting the deal of a lifetime with I found a 2006 Nissan Altima with less than 100,000 miles on it here. I bought the car in full with the help of Rachel Root and drove away a happy camper. That's where the happiness ends. I didn't receive my title paperwork until just 1 or 2 days before the temporary tags expired which meant being forced to take time off of work to go get that processed so that I wouldn't be driving on expired tags. Strike one. Then within just a month of purchasing the vehicle, I had to replace the entire fuel gauge cluster which cost me $1,200 because it completely stopped working. Strike two. I contacted the dealership because I felt it was absurd to be having such a major issue so quickly. After a lot of going back and forth with Used Car Sales Manager, Nate Myers, they agreed to issue me a service credit at the dealership for the amount I paid for the repair. Ok... would rather have my money back but it's better than nothing. About 4 months after purchasing the vehicle I began having issues again. This time I had to have it towed to Toyota so that they could work on it utilizing my service credit. When I asked how the service credit would work the representative, Abby Couch, claimed that they never received my receipt from the original repair and therefore never set up the credit. I went back in my email and found the exact email I sent to Nate with my receipt attached and the response I got from him which said he received it and would get it set up. I forwarded the same thing to them both and they actually got it situated. Strike three. Upon looking at my car they discovered that a coil, spark plugs, o rings, and some other stuff needed to be replaced and totaled it at $900 which was fine because the credit covered it so I told them to go ahead and do that. I picked up the car with no issues and drove away feeling like the problem was solved. Now just two weeks since they repaired my car the check engine light is back on and it feels as if it is having the same issues that they allegedly fixed. At this point I will be lucky if this car even lasts me the next month which has put me in a terrible situation financially. Lesson learned, NEVER shop here again and just cough up the money/payments for a newer car (but still don't do it here because this place is shady as hell). I am not even sure if this is truly everything in this terrible saga because so much has gone on, but the moral of the story is just GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Update (1/8/2020): After posting this review, both Abby and Nate reached out to me and offered to have me bring the car in to have it checked out again. The check engine light did go off on its own later the same day it came on and hasn't come back on again but if that changes I will update. read more

Went to Performance Toyota to have my car serviced for an oil change, tire rotation, and have the brakes repaired this past Friday. Decided against having them perform the brake service due to the exorbitant cost and opted to go somewhere else for that repair. Instead, I had Performance Toyota perform an oil change, tire rotation, and fix a power steering fluid leak they found for a total of $642.88 which included the cost for diagnostics. After driving my car home from Toyota, one of my hub caps fell off outside my subdivision. I remember looking at my tire and thought it looked low. On Monday morning, I was driving my car to work and my low tire pressure light came on so I stopped at a gas station to check my tires. All of my tires were low and the tire with the missing hub cap was at 19 psi. I was able to fill all of the tires with air except for the one with the missing hub cap. No matter how much air I put in the tire, the reading would not go up. In fact, it dropped down to 13 psi. I immediately went back to Toyota and had them check my tire. They indicated that the air pressure sensor on that tire was stuck in the on position and that's why it would not fill with air. The charge for repair was $38 with tax. I asked the Service Advisor (Joe) if he believed the tires were checked during my appointment for the oil change and tire rotation they performed on Friday and he agreed with me that it was not done! He even mentioned that if the tires had been checked, they would have found the issue with the pressure sensor on the tire. He said they were probably in a hurry on Friday and forgot. I believe Performance Toyota damaged the sensor during the tire rotation and neglected to check the tire pressures. I purchased these tires last year and had no problems until Performance Toyota serviced my car. Thank you Performance Toyota for the following: 1) Not providing adequate service on my car by checking tire pressure after a routine tire rotation and oil change for which I paid $75; 2) Damaging my tire sensor resulting in my tire pressure going extremely low and charging me $38 for repair ($8.45 for parts & $25 for labor); 3) Not securing my hub cap which caused it to fall off close to my home after leaving your facility; 4) Requiring me to take off half a day from work for you to fix something caused by your negligence! read more

Bought a car here 4 years ago and have been coming in for regular service. Once my warranty expired, their sales people would call me to try and talk me into a trade in every time I made a service appointment. I've asked them repeatedly for nearly 2 years to stop calling me, and they get all snippy "Sir, I'm just trying to do my job". Well, I'm just trying to get my car serviced without being harassed by people with sales quotas to meet. It was time for an oil change and I just couldn't bring myself to call them.. EDIT: the sales manager reached out to me after reading this review. He apologized for my experience and seemed genuinely surprised that this had happened. He assured me that they do, in fact, accept outside financing. I really appreciated his concern and offer to make it right, so I'm raising my review from 1 to 3 stars. Don't forget to bring your own lube--you're gonna need it. My salesman Shack was fine and helped me reserve an awesome 2023 4Runner. However, I was clear from the beginning that I had outside financing as my credit union offered me an unbeatable rate. I asked multiple times throughout the month-long process (the vehicle was in transit from Japan) if I could have the purchase order or any information that would help expedite the loan process with my credit union so I could take possession of the vehicle as soon as it arrived. It wasn't until the vehicle was here and they wasted our time trying and failing to beat the rate I'd been offered elsewhere that they said "oh well we don't accept a lien on the vehicle" essentially forcing me to finance through them at a rate 2 percentage points higher. I'm going to refinance with my credit union in a month when I'm able to, but the whole scheme was so slimy and the finance manager was so shady. I will never recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from this dealership. If you need a credit union, though, Greater Cincinnati Credit Union has been wonderful! P.S. Their Google reviews are fake. They took my phone at the end of the transaction to connect the car to my Toyota app and took the liberty of leaving themselves a 5-star review. read more

Warning for EVERYBODY: EVERY SINGLE CAR on the lot is $600 MORE THAN THE ADVERTISED PRICE. They have installed the SafeLink Wireless Theft Recovery System GPS tracking device in each car, new or used. The device can be used to find the car after a police report is filed. They told me that they do this for their own use, to manage theft off the lot. So they bought it for their own use - it's not like custom rims or something. Yet, YOU have to buy it-- they will not remove it. Every large print price on every car is a lie. They defend this by saying it's in the fine print of the price sticker, so it's not technically illegal. I guess? But it's absolutely deceptive. Now, we know that dealerships will find a way to add hundreds of dollars to the original price, right? We pay title fees, Document fees, etc., as well as the usual upsell of a warranty or whatever. But this is different. They "customize" every car, and then tell you it's extra. So to buy a car there, you also have to buy something you may not want, that they have already used. BE WARNED. The $6900 used car you want will cost $7500 even before the other fees. SafeLink's website says "Our groundbreaking GPS technology solution helps increase profit-per-vehicle while providing dealers Dynamic Inventory Management...Dealers improve Consumer Satisfaction scores by offering customers a high-tech, high-value product in their finance department." So, it's intended to increase price, and it's for the dealer. BUT, the website says they should offer it in their finance department. OFFER it? Nope, IMPOSE it. To be fair, at least there is no fee once the thing is in your car. If you're worried about theft, sure, it's a solution (though you cannot use it to track your teenagers, because it only works if there is a police report). Safelink also says that your insurance company might give a discount for it. However, and Performance Toyota confirmed this -- the service is NOT TRANSFERABLE. If you sell your car, the new person can't use the device, and apparently can't pay Safelink a fee to set it up in their name. No, you would have to go to Performance Toyota, have them remove it, and then have them install a new one for the new buyer. Upping your asking price by $600, or else you take the hit. Two more complaints: first, they try to MAKE you use their financing. They said "Well, you can use outside financing, but that can take up to a week to go through, and we can't hold the car until it comes through." So unless you can pay cash (=already have your loan in your account), they state they are going to keep selling it and letting people test drive. If you say "so you're requiring me to use your financing" they deny it - but they are threatening you that even if you sign a contract with them, they can sell your car out from under you. And they won't take just a cash deposit to hold it. Some contract. Then they also tried to keep me from taking the car to an outside mechanic. It was late in the day so the mechanic couldn't do it til the next morning. The sales guy said that I couldn't take it off the lot unless I owned it. I said "are you telling me that you are refusing to let me have the car inspected before you sell it to me?" The guy looked miserable and finally said he could extend the test drive overnight. I have had my car in for service 2 or 3 times and I always asked to check my brakes...{OH THEY ARE FINE" was always the answer...well now all of a sudden the calipers are broken or brittle and they quoted $1200 to replace...why didn't this occur the first time I brought in my Avalon my daughter and I talked to mgr and he came down on the price...I have always trusted Performance to take care of my car...now I'm not so sure. read more

Be prepared to be treated like a mark. I was sold a preowned car that was "Toyota inspected for quality and integrity". Come to find over the next 3 years that 50% of the parts on the car where cheap after market parts. I blame some of this on myself for not knowing any better about most car repairs. I bought a warranty, but when things started to break (1400$ worth of repairs in the first year), my warranty did not cover "preexisting issues"... every issue on a used car is preexisting... why was a sold a warranty that would cover nothing? Took days to get a car diagnosed, even when appointments are made. They charged me for a rental after they misdiagnosed an issue that wouldn't be covered by the warranty. No warranty coverage, no courtesy rental. I made the mistake of returning, this time for a deal on a new car they were running. i purposefully did not give my phone number to contact me, as i did not want to get spam called. The sales staff took it upon themselves to not only pull my PRIVATE work phone number off of my credit application and cold call me. Unacceptable and unethical. read more

We waited at the salesman's desk for 3 hours while he "checked with his manager". We filled out credit forms. We have in depth discussions about how this is a unique market now. We then waited some more. I was willing to pay the sticker priced for the car, but I was shown charts and graphs about the car's sale price range. I then showed them a picture of THEIR sticker price on the car. After lengthy mushy discussions with the salesman and I agreeing to pay the sticker price plus dealer prep fees, he went to "his manager" and after another 10 minutes of waiting he came back with a offer price $1000 above THEIR sticker price. We left. I was trying to buy my daughter a car for her graduation present but were both deeply disappointed at the callus treatment we received. There were no other customers in the showroom and there were at least 6 idle salespeople standing around plus a couple other salespeople roaming around the lot. If they were up front with their new daily inflation digital pricing and had not wasted hours of my time dancing around this, I might have even paid the higher price, but wasting my time and treating me like a fool really killed it. Never will I set foot on the Performance Toyota property again. This kind of customer treatment makes me think Carvana is viable alternative to car dealers. read more

Absolutely the worst buying experience of my life. I have a list of things that went wrong from my first encounter with this dealer. Like scheduling a test drive only to find that no one was aware that it was scheduled, and they had to go find the car. "Now which car did you want to drive?" is what I got - on TWO separate occasions. Unfortunately, this dealer ended up having the very car I wanted to buy so I went back hoping for a more positive experience. Nope. After 2 1/2 hours of painful upselling for added warranties, I finally left the dealership with my new Camry SE. After a couple months I decided to cancel a couple of the added warranties, so I called the dealer to coordinate this with financial manager who liked me so much when I bought the car. No response. I continued to call and email over the next two and a half weeks. The poor receptionist knew who I was, but the financial manager never did call me back. Still hasn't. Bottom line - even though I paid retail for the car and bought all that extended stuff - the finance manager Ghosted me. Ghosted me! Eight calls and emails went unanswered! I escalated the issue and got a call from the Sales Manager who promised that customer service was their priority. She promised to speak to the Finance Manager, but I heard nothing back. So, I called again a couple days later and then I got a response about how they are now changing policy so the finance managers have been told to call their customers back. Not satisfied, I finally reached out to the General Manager (only 3 times this go-round). HE has not returned my calls either! I promise, I have been very patient and professional about this issue, but I have also been persistent in getting the attention of a dealership who has deliberately disregarded me. I did not plan to write this review . . . until the General Manager also decided not to return my calls. I am having a hard time believing this really happened even as I write this review, but it did - it is just so bizarre. read more

Takes advantage of women and kids alike. Hands down the worst Toyota dealership I've ever worked with. Charged my 17 year old son $1023 for the following on a Toyota Camry: $249.95 - Transmission flush $65 oil change $363 - O2 sensor $135 throttle body service Engine air filter In cabin air filter Fixed a flat tire Somehow this was a total of $1022.75. Here is my biggest issue with the costs, in the video, which I thought was the whole point of the video, they did not show the throttle body that needed cleaned or the two air filters. In addition to that they charged an hour labor on the O2 sensor and ANOTHER hour to supposedly diagnosis the O2 sensor. Absolutely laughable. 20 mins tops to change an O2 sensor. Watch videos on it. Sales and service are both equally terrible. Even the people that answer their phones are terrible. It's nearly impossible to get someone on the phone from this dealership. This is the third time I've dealt with this location and it will be the last. Would not recommend. I would recommend Kings Toyota before Performance Toyota. Anyone who has ever been to that dealership...this statement should speak for itself. read more

Went in they tried to get me to go outside to physically see a car, I declined and stated just wanted to discuss prices, salesman then tried to get my license and I again declined and stated I wasn't test driving until I got the right price for bad model Corrolla. Then the ole "how much you're looking to spend?" I said "sixteen-eight" he left got his Sales Mgr who after introducing himself pulled out a regular 81/2x11 sheet of paper like an internet printout and said "well, the absolute scratching the bottom lowest invoice on a Corolla LE is twenty-four thousand" and I interrupted and said "gentleman we won't be doing business" and walked out. Can't wait for this antiquated auto dealership sales model & methods are gone and no more territorial dealerships! This is the worst car dealership I have ever dealt with. I bought my car in July of 2022 and I am STILL dealing with the problems the dealership caused for me. The finance managers are terrible- they talk you into "amazing" deals with an "amazing" price tag and then end up charging you $8K more than the agreed upon price. I have been trying to cancel my warranty on my car since January 2023 and still have gotten NOWHERE. My calls are being dodged, my money is missing, and now it's been 10 months since I cancelled my warranty and NOBODY is helping me. Not to mention I traded my vehicle in, got my plates transferred, was told it was "taken care of" by the dealership... but a few weeks ago I was pulled over because my vehicles plates didn't match my current vehicle. I LUCKILY got a warning but this place didn't even transfer my plates as promised. I look like I stole my car. Don't shop here, it is NOT worth the hassle. read more

Thank god I qualify for a full refund on that! But the icing on the cake is this SafeLink auto recovery I was told by salesman Jeff that comes standard on cars. It's a 995 hidden additional charge claiming to be a "accessory". This scam of a company which I don't even think is a real company or not really in business does not answer any calls on their website. So if your car is actually stolen ha good luck on actually filing a claim!!! One of the the (650) 250-1996 is disconnected. The other number just rings until it goes to a voicemail (844) 499-7233. They use this junk of a product to up sale their cars! Buyer beware. Now I have to take proper action of this foul business deceit in court! Shame on you PTF LLC aka Performance Toyota! Oh yes don't try to pull up with your own financing with your personal bank which I did. They only want you to finance with banks they have a relationship with hmmm more money in their pocket on the deal apparently. This was the BEST vehicle purchase experience I have ever had! I have always 'dreaded' purchasing a car until now. NO pressure, NO haggling back and forth the sales person [ Jilia Emery ] was amazing she knew every detail about the Truck, was so knowledgable, professional, no pressure, it was a very pleasant experience! I hate to say this, I thought to myself when I go to do the paperwork there will be some 'unexpected' line item added on, or something placed on the paperwork before the purchase, but NOPE! it all went as planned and agreed upon. I was In and Out so quickly it was GREAT Would HIGHLY recommend this dealership and the entire staff, I don't typically write reviews however this company and especially Julia deserve to know they made a happy customer! read more

Highly recommend Yair in sales and Michael in Finance. Both guys were very professional, easy to work with, and on top of it. Performance was my Fourth dealership experience within 48 hours in Lexington, Louisville and Cincy.....these guys are way ahead of the rest. There was no BS and if you understand what a fair price is for the vehicle you want after doing your research, then they will get you in a vehicle. They even had a guy playing light guitar music in the showroom. Are you kidding me? I knew from first handshake that I was purchasing from Performance. Drove 1.5 hours and worth every minute. Been in truck for less than 24 hours and received follow up text about some accessories they are going to install. They answered all questions quickly via text service. Unbelievable. I truly regret giving this dealership a second chance and feel very stupid. My little sister did not want to. Nothing but liars and scam artist. OZ our salesman turned out to be a liar and a scam. He stated that the 2017 Buick Encore was purchased from action and later stated that it was a trade in. He talks a lot to try and distract your thoughts. They kept the second key and owners manual to our car and tried to sale it to us for $100. OZ lied to us that the key was lost etc. Later on Andy (General Manager) stated that we should have negotiated for the second key to be included in the purchase. Please be very careful and deal with this dealership at your own risk. The only honest salesman I meant when car shopping was Kevin (Hertz Car Sales Cincinnati). They did not have the 2017 Buick Encore but I should have purchased a different car from them. Kevin gave me a very good advice on how to avoid situations like this and I should have listened. I will be removing the "Performance Toyota" branded tags from our car. We also found out that there is no free car wash like informed from by the our salesman OZ the scammer. After a major repair at an out-of-town dealership, my car developed a small oil drip. When I took it to Performance, I was told that the drip was from a large amount of residual oil that had not been cleaned after the original repair and that I needed to take it to a carwash to have the underside cleaned. I contacted the dealership that did the original repairs. They asked me to return the car to them, which I did. After their service tech showed me that the underside of the car was clearly NOT covered in oil, he proceeded to locate a tiny leak in the oil pan seal. The oil pan and seal was replaced, and no more leaks! If the Performance service person had taken the time to actually check out my car, he would have found the REAL issue and repaired it instead of blaming another dealership with a bunch of BS. In addition, 3 voice mails and 2 emails to the service department concerning the issue were not returned as well. After 3 car purchases over the years, my relationship with Performance is over. read more

I haven't trusted dealerships for over 20 years. Well after giving them a second chance and doing business with Performance Toyota May 2019 I'll never do business with a dealership ever again until the day I die!!! What I experienced at this place was the classic no morals, no integrity, money grabbing business practices that made me swear off dealerships over two decades ago! I bought a 2010 Prius May 2019. The day after I bought this car the check engine light came on. Code said misfire cylinder 4, most likely spark plug or coil. I replaced, had light reset off. Light came on again next day. Long story short: changed or cleaned or checked plugs, coils, throttle body, EGR system, fuel injectors, and intake manifold gasket. Not cheap! After each attempted repair the engine light was reset. It would always come back on next day. Finally my mechanic checked compression in cylinder 4. Yep, low compression. The piston rings. After doing research and finding Toyota technical service bulletins (TSB), this is a known problem!! This also explains why I go through a quart of oil every 300 miles. The price I paid for this car, based on 3 months of research before buying, was average for its year, condition, and mileage. But NOT for a car that Toyota Corp knew has a MAJOR mechanical issue! And that check engine light turning on the day after I bought it? I'm damn sure this dealership had their mechanics reset it to off, put car on lot, and hoped they could take advantage of someone trusting them to do the right thing. Well they sure didn't! I didn't even mention yet there was no gasket on the oil drain plug just blue gasket sealant (discovered this when I changed my own oil. And no, after I installed gasket it still used a quart every few hundred miles because of crappy piston rings in the 2010s), plus all the tires were waaayyyy out of balance and terrible alignment. Getting this done was because of a very strange vibration at certain speeds or torque. Well, even after getting the tires done the vibration was still there. Why? Because of the engine misfiring so bad from crappy factory piston rings in cylinder 4! This whole experience with Performance Toyota has been a nightmare!! I have a car I still owe thou$and$ on and feels like it's going to blow up any week now. Did I contact them? Yes! I still have the emails to prove it. Their response? Purchased a new Toyota Tundra here in 2015. Truck was on the lot, had check from bank in my hand and trade-in was already agreed upon. Took over four hours to process this transaction and there was no set-up of the vehicle at all. I didn't even know how to turn on or adjust the headlights and it was dark outside by the time I was handed the keys. Absolute worst experience ever at a dealership. New vehicle pick-ups in the past have take 30 minutes max. Horrible experience and I discovered they had my trade-in on their website before I made it home. Never again. read more

Where do i even begin? should have read reviews before i went there. i really needed a car at the moment after an accident. Take your money and business somewhere else. I bought a used car from them, it was as-is and i was fully aware. However, you'd expect as a "reputable" dealership they would inspect the car before they put it up for sale and a REPUTABLE dealership would fully disclose if there was anything wrong. (initially i went to Honda next door to look at a used car, the car i looked at had issues and the sales person gave me all the details on that!) Fast forward ONE-ish week later it had a power steering leak. They agreed to take it back, easy exchange. I thought i'll just get a newer model/certified used so i know it is Toyota certified. Come to find out later that "Toyota certified" does not have a hood lift and 2of 3 backseat belts, that was my mistake for not checking when i bought it because i trusted the " toyota certification" . Also, kinda illegal for them to sell a car with no seatbelts and i wonder what the Toyota certification is now. The process was fine, the people who helped me were gracious but the attitude I got from the manager who I spoke to was just out of the world. A very condescending bloke! Fast forward 40 days. It takes 45 days to get my title, as I was told. I called to get an ETA on my title because my tags were expiring in 3 days! I was told the title was NEVER processed and to come in a get a new temp tags. I live an hour away, I asked them if they could mail it, its easy, right? Nope. I was told the tags are "metal" hence they cannot mail it and i must come pick it up. ummm what? What in the middle earth can you not ship a metal tag? Also, a. I don't have time in the day to take 2hrs+ off to pick it up, and b. my tags expireddd, remember? I'm glad i work from home. The hassle is not worth it at all! go somewhere else. read more

So I was trying to get new tires and the service advisor didn't even call my warrantee company to get the tires approve these guys suck big time, when I bought the car I got the extended tire warranty and these ppl at this Toyota are a joke! read more

Shop elsewhere! First, the salesman either pretended to or legitimately did not know how to use the company's website to filter on the types of cars that we were interested in. For example, we asked if there were any 2019 used cars available, and he stated that he doesn't think so and left it at that. We asked if the website has a filter for year, and he stated that he didn't know. The salesman attempted to manipulate us into buying older cars instead of the particular car we were interested in. Later, they failed to show us a car that they had posted on their website as available, offering an "excuse" that the car may have been taken on a test drive and they were unable to determine where it had been parked after the test drive. We left after a wasted 40 minutes. Never going back. read more

Annoyed that in order to pay cash/cashier check for a vehicle, they must pull your credit to verify your identity. It's the 21st century, there are many ways to verify my identity without doing a hard inquiry. read more

I purchased a Toyota Sienna from this dealership yesterday and even though I was pleased with the condition of the car and its performance, I was not happy with the deceptive sales practices employed by them. I got to work with Elan, who uses his pleasant demeanor to deceive the customers. The price for the vehicle on their website was $17, 550. When I tried to negotiate for a better deal, Elan showed me papers that showed the price to be $17, 750. I was not quick to catch the discrepancy and was made to believe I was getting a good deal when in fact, I ended up overpaying for the car. Performance Toyota went even further in their deception by changing the price on the website to reflect the "new" price. I get the feeling this deceptive practice is widespread and they try it on all the unsuspecting customers like myself. Buyer, you have been warned. Double and triple check your numbers if you do business with this dealer. read more

These clowns ran a credit check when we visited them to buy a car. WE WERE GOING TO PAY CASH! Thus car dealer is slimy. They checked all three credit services! Now what reason do they have for running a credit on a cash transaction. If you are paying cash or are using bank financing and they insist on you filling out a credit application WALK OUT OF THERE. slimy, slimy, slimy. read more

I honestly can't believe I'm writing this review. I'm still in shock- my family and I are nice people and this is not the kind of thing that this stuff happens to. We bought a used car in October from Jeff at performance Toyota. Full disclosure, this car was "as-is" and we knew that going in to the purchase. However, we assumed performance Toyota would at least make sure they would sell a car that drove properly and safely. Since buying this SUV we have spent thousands and thousands of dollars on repairs this car. I have the receipts. Not exaggerating, the day after we bought it (while I was taking the kids to school), the engine light popped on. Since then it's been problem after problem. New exhaust system, cracked oil pan, transmission fluid leak. Yes it was used. Yes it was an older model. We needed something cheap that we could purchase in cash and planned on coming back to performance Toyota to get a newer car in a couple of years. We were so excited to look at the new Highlander's too! Now I will never come back or give my business to this establishment. Buyer beware. read more

The sales persons attitude within minutes of arriving made buying a car there not even a option. He treated my daughter and her husband like they couldn't afford a car. So they left went to kings toyota and have everything arranged to buy the brand new car they wanted. Definitely a loss for performance since they had the money and knew exactly what they wanted. read more

Ordered a new 2021 Highlander Hybrid with a $500 deposit. Was told it would be here in 4-6 weeks. After 6 weeks I called to check the status and was told the GM had taken it on vacation. I still don't know where the car is and no one has returned my calls. read more

Would give less than 1 star if that was possible. Purchased a 2021 Camry Hybrid in May 8. Promised Costco pricing in writing one week earlier. Had to put a $500 non refundable deposit on a car coming in that week to hold the one we wanted (bc they had no inventory). We were called on Wednesday May 5 and were told that the car was in. We made an appt to complete the purchase for May 8. During the review of cost, fees etc we noticed that the Costco discount was not listed. When we questioned them we were told that "they" decided to not to honor any Costco pricing on May 4. Instead of going with our gut and walking out, we went thru with the sale only to find that the windshield of our brand new car was scratched to the point of needing replaced- they took care of that but scheduling that was another ordeal..... Also, during the meeting with the financial person, we were told that if we changed our mind regarding the additional warranties that we purchased (gap insurance etc...) all we needed to do was call and they would take care of it for us- we have been trying for 3 DAYS for someone to call us back re this.... Lastly, it goes without saying that we've spent more than our fair share of time at/in communication with Performance this past month. With that being said, one would think that when we mentioned the fact that we were also due to wrap up our lease on another vehicle (we had every intention of purchasing) that a change was made ONE YEAR ago that makes purchasing a $1600 extended warranty MANDATORY if you choose to finance through them. Surprise, it never came up. Do not waste your time or money because truth and transparency is NOT something that you will find here. read more

I bought my car from the Joseph Toyota dealer in Colerain because I heard the service here at Performance Toyota was terrible. I found out the hard way that It's true! I had a flat tire & made it to the back of Performance Toyota's property less than 1/2 a block away from the service entrance on Performance Honda's back lot. They told me I needed to get a tow truck to tow my car to the service entrance! Really I was already on their property... After walking to their service area I noticed there are signs everywhere that state if you did not buy your car at Performance that their Quality Free loaner cars does not apply to you... wow! They let you know right off that you do not matter unless you bought your car from them. THEY WOULDN'T SEND A MECHANIC 1/2 A BLOCK TO PUT THE SPARE ON FOR ME so I could drive my car to their service area (I AM DISABLED SO I COULDN'T DO IT MYSELF)... The tow truck arrived & put the spare on for me but when I got to the service area they said sorry we are closed now. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I drove home slowly & set up an appointment the next day at Joseph Toyota where they took excellent care of me & my car. Then 2 days later Performance Toyota had the nerve to call me & say I missed my appointment the next morning (which I never scheduled) & wanted to know if I was coming in now. SERIOUSLY !!!!!! Buy your car at Joseph Toyota! Excellent service even if you bought your Toyota elsewhere... read more
