I won't be back, and I can't recommend this place to anyone who expects to be treated with dignity.

Back then, the wall cues were usable--you only needed to check if one was straight. This time (August 2025), not a single wall cue was in playable condition. Many had cracked ferrules, and the felt on the table shifted under my bridge hand. For $10/hr, I was charged $8.25 for only 20 minutes of table time, which felt unreasonable. What really concerns me is the bigger picture. If a newcomer curious about pool stumbled into this environment, I doubt they'd want to come back. Facilities like this should be introducing people to the fun and quality of cue sports--not turning them away.

Hi just walked out of Peri's bar after they charged me nine dollars for a rocks glass with well vodka, soda and a squeeze of lemon. The bandana clad wanna be hippie chick bartender asked the other wanna be hippie chick bartender how much, and she came back to me with that outrageous price for well vodka. I used to love Fairfax I've been there since the 70s it used to be an authentic town now it's a bunch of the grandkids of the people that made it great that inherited there parents money and a bunch of dumb ass millennials that try to hard to be Fairfax people. If you want to get ripped off for your drinks go to Peri's otherwise head to one of the other bars in town. read more

As a singer songwriter and acoustic cover artist of long standing, I found Peri's on-line contact page on their website. I wanted to find out their hiring process for their deck. I have in the past played there and other clubs in Fairfax. I wrote a few lines introducing myself and asking that they advise me. Nothing. Not any kind of answer at all. Still waiting. Hello? Just an acknowledgement that I contacted them would have been nice. Not so friendly. So---I asked around and found that other performers had received the same treatment. great local dive bar - excellent music and fun crowd! I love the outdoor patio too. this is a super fun local hangout - try it on a weekday night to avoid the crowds!! the cons - the place, especially the patio, was not very clean. the drinks were a bit too expensive. for the level of "dive" bar it is I would expect a bit cheaper prices. lastly, when the live band is playing it can get really loud - but by the same token if you like live music this is the place to go!! there is a lot of competition in the neighborhood for places to hang out in the evenings, so I'll be trying them all and adding reviews for the others as I make my way through them! read more

Peri's Silver Dollar Bar is a classic dark dive bar with a no-frills vibe. The staff is transactional but fine, and while the drinks are strong, they don't taste great and are definitely on the pricey side. There's no food, so plan accordingly if you're heading here for a night out. Parking in downtown Fairfax can be tricky, so it's worth getting there early. One highlight is the pool table in the back, which adds to the experience. Overall, it's not a go-to spot for drinks given the prices and lack of food, but I'd consider coming back for a show since the venue itself has a fun, laid-back atmosphere. read more

Oh Peri's.... how I luv thee soooo! I cant be happier with that wonderful little bar. People take care of you, if creepy guys are being inappropriate, just tell any of the bar tenders and they'll do the rest. I always can relay on having a fun time with my buds there, and even if (I accidently) hit the sauce a little too hard that night I know I'll be watched over and leave safe. $250.00 cover charge? That's what you get if they have your car towed. Apparently it happens all the time because the owner gets a kickback from Terra Linda tow. I saw it myself when just before Christmas he had a car towed at noon from his otherwise empty lot...I mean how sleazy can this guy be? And since only locals are in town on weekdays it was probably one of his neighbors. I think there's another review in here about this too. read more

In the venue itself there is a bar that served both great Bloody Mary's and mocktail options too. Fun staff and the show was equally as cool + interactive. There were nice Grateful Dead handkerchiefs for sale, and all in all, honestly would return for a kiddo or (adult) show.
