I would have given a lower rating if it was possible! To start, we asked for seating in a booth away from the windows (it was chilly outside)..we could see open booths along the inside perimeter that were open and clean...we were offered either a table (out in the middle of traffic areas) or by the windows...grrr...fine, we were seated along the windows...left our coats on during the meal. We were served our coffee from the start...ok...fine so far! Enter a few more patrons...guess what? The booth we could NOT sit at is now seated with OBVIOUS friends of the server as they received hugs and chit chat from!! Mind you, there was NO RESERVED SIGN on it but rather they were obviously instructed to "SAVE" the table for these "friends" ...We ordered our meals...I ordered a salad MINUS tomatoes as I hate tomatoes in any form. My husband ordered a cheeseburger with fries...we finally were served our meals by the table busser...sans silverware...we receive our silverware...my salad is LOADED with tomatoes!!! My husband's fries are COLD and his burger is quite charcoaled and dry...FINE....open the silverware...the knives are FILTHY beyond words...does anyone stop by to check on our meals and whatnot??? NOPE...not until the very end of the meal when I mentioned I ordered NO tomatoes and informed our server it is a good thing I am NOT allergic! She says, oh, do you want me to have them make it over??? REALLY? Do YOU want to eat a meal by yourself????? When we pointed out the fact that the silverware is NOT clean...her response? Did you ask for a different set?? REALLY??? No tip for that server, which we NEVER do!!! We will NOT BE BACK!!!! This the worst Perkins ever. I went there and there was 5 tables being used so it wasn't busy.. I sat there for 45 minutes while the waiter walked pass me... Someone walked in and sat at the table next to me and the waiter went and took their order thats when I knew it was time to go and I left.. I will never go back read more

I am having to sit and listen to a table full of drunks being loud and dropping the F bomb every other word! There are 2 waitresses holding the place down with no manager to be seen to inform the drunks (BTW they are not native american) to have respect for the children present and behave or leave, instead they brought the table more alcohol to drink! The place is full with the cook bringing food out to help the waitresses. Where is the local manager??? Butte is full of tournament goers and every restaurant in town should have staffed up accordingly. I am going to reach out to the corporate office due to the terrible experience here. This was probably one of the least pleasant restaurant experiences ever. Our waitress was unpleasant and unfriendly. The restaurant was not busy at all and our orders took more than 40 minutes to arrive. When we finally received our meals, there was a hair in the sausage which the waitress passed off as egg and did not offer to replace. Pancakes were undercooked which were replaced. Another pancake order was burnt. An omelette order did not have any cheese at all as described on the menu and chicken fried steak was dry and over cooked.... there was never an apology for their incompetence. At first we were not sure if this location was open because we could not see any lights on. We almost left but saw a couple leaving. Once in the restaurant we were seated right away. The waitress brought us our water and coffee, took our order right away. The food was very well presented and tasty. Our waitress checked in us several times. On our way to Yellow Stone National, we made what was certainly a poor decision in opting to dine at this location. The best part of the meal were the beverages... the chocolate shake was great and the cherry coke were both quite pleasing. The appetizer was a 3-way sampler and the chicken strips were grossly over cooked...the mozzarella sticks had 80% of the cheese cooked OUTSIDE of the breaded casing while the onion rings were palatable. The BBQ bacon cheeseburger my husband ordered medium and that was overlooked... It got worse from there, the grilled salmon w/grilled asparagus was also over cooked , dry and tasteless not to mention the Cajun seasoning was non-existent...the edges of the salmon were CRISPY!!! Who does this to a piece of fish?!?! My husband cautioned me about complaining but I needed nourishment...I took a chance and ordered the cheeseburger with a side of broccoli. The waitress returned with the cheeseburger sans broccoli. No need for further complaint, I ate the meat, tomato, bacon and cheese because the bun was stale. The lesson for me is be grateful for the very nice manager who brought my husband's chocolate shake and the nice waitress who did her best to fulfill our order. At first I thought this restaurant was going to be nice, I've been to many perkins before. After a long day of traveling I was looking forward to scrumptious chicken fingers, with mashed potatoes. I was devastated on what happened next, the food was; overcooked, greasy, and tasted like bad fast food. My drink of coke was flat, and didn't have enough ice. The waitress sat us down and didn't even say her name, the whole night I didn't know her name. On top of that rude gesture, she made us wait 40 minutes for the check, my friend eventually had enough and went up to the cashier to pay. The cashier had no idea what she was doing and there was no one there to help her. That ordeal took another 15 minutes. I am deeply offended by the Butte Perkins staff and will never return to that joke of a restraunt. The service was great, it was just the food. The appetizer of fried pickles was overcooked and greasy. The coffee was really bitter. I had ordered the everything omelet , instead of celery they put green pepper, would've been nice to be informed about it if I couldn't eat or like green peppers. The hashbrowns tasted like used oil and couldn't taste the potato at all. The sausage tastes like it came from the freezer along with everything else. I ordered Turkey and dressing, YUCKKKKKKKKKKKK! I don't know what they did but the "gravy" and I use that term loosely was a brown, oily, salty mess, but 4 stars to the waiter who patiently offered me yet another dish, Chicken soup please! Hubby had cheese burger and fries...no problem he enjoyed it. Today some of their menu items needed to be scratched but to give them credit they removed all the items that I didn't like from the check at their insistence. We didn't have to ask them to remove the items from our check. Waiter was a polite young man who probably had a few too many tables to wait on but he bent over backwards to make us happy. In my opinion a caring, wait person can go a long way towards repairing bad food in my eyes. We even tipped him a little extra for all his trouble. read more
